Doesn't matter. The most important thing you need to watch before Unicorn is either watch the Trilogy movies of the 0079 series or the original TV episodes. Watching Z (the TV series), ZZ and CCA before Unicorn is also recommended as those shows tie into Unicorn a lot but not as required as the original.

Personally I would go with the trilogy films since that's pretty much the canon ones.

F91 was planned to be a series but Sunrise cramped it in a movie so dont except quality pacing.
It focuses on the Jovian Colonies and the events of 0079 are quite in the past hence Late UC.

The Origin and newly announced Thunderbolt would best be watched after having at least seen the core five U.C. pieces as one is a prequel highly tied to knowing the events of the series and Thunderbolt will have plenty of OYW references.

How to watch UC Gundam:
- 0079 FIRST and always first

Then you have the option of watching 08th MS Team, 0080 or Origin.
OR you watch Zeta for a pure sequel

After Zeta there's ZZ, which really should be watched for the closure of various threads from Zeta. It's a mixed experience, ranging from weird and wacky to great to terrible; on the plus side it has some of the best characters in the series.

After Z and ZZ you can watch 0083 (technically it's a prequel but it makes more sense after you've seen them, since it has a lot of references to things from both series). It's not a literary masterpiece and it suffers from the director and writer both trying to push it in different directions, but it's still pretty fun.

Then you have CCA
You can watch Unicorn after this if you want to, but I'd suggest skipping straight ahead to F91 since it sits with CCA as a similarly styled movie.

After F91 you then have Crossbone (manga), then Victory, then Turn A and lastly G-Reco.

TLDR, only watch Origin after seeing 0079; Unicorn should only be seen after watching at least 0079, Zeta and CCA.

G-Reco had the interesting backstory about how war was taboo and everything, but people were losing interest in the enforcement of that taboo and were straining at the leash for war without really knowing what suffering there would be when it happened. Kind of like WW1 in a way, or any other period where there's been prolonged peace and people start thinking about adventurism.
