Was 2010-2012 the golden age of anime?
>Sora no Woto
>Kids on the slope
2013-14 were the best years for anime.
Yes we did.
2012 doesn't belong here. 2010 was really good and 2011 is a solid contender for strongest anime year ever though.
I've probably been here longer than you you fucking nerd.
Yeah it had some good things
>Garden of Words
>Diamond no Ace
On the other hand it had
>Aku no Hana
>Tenshi no drop
And a lot of other really mediocre shit. So it definitely had great shows, but it also had a lot of bad ones.
Doesn't seem to make much sense to evaluate a year holistically honestly. Time is a scarce commodity and it seems better to just assign heavier weights to good shows since nobody should be watching trash like Kotoura-san in any year.
2011 by that criteria is particularly special. Its top tiers were abnormally strong.
You are so fucking cancerous and att whore, please die and stop posting. Makes me wonder why you still aren't banned.
Sage and hide and everybody should do the same.
Newfag wanting to senpai to notice him, how cute.
Fuck you, Bear, I already told you you could do this for a bunch of years, and then you proved you hadn't seen half the good stuff from the years we named. Stop attention-whoring.
>Kids on the Slope
Sorry bud, I'll try to watch some of them soon, but my backlog is huge.
Because people keep saving it and posting it, meaning I can't, so I had to add stuff to it in paint so I wouldn't get [Duplicate image] etc.
Learn what your buzzwords actually mean before you post them friendo.
Because I had such high hopes for it since the first episode looked great, but then it quickly went to shit. The main girl was one of the most rage inducing bitches I've ever had to watch in a show as well.
I highly recommend you get some taste my man.
Because the music is great, I liked the characters(for the most part), and the general comradery between bros is real nice.
I'll admit, I was on the fence about adding KlK to the list because I don't actually dislike it that much, it's mainly the insane shitposting that followed it for several months.
Thanks, I'm a funny guy.
If you associate an image as your "favorite /a/ related reaction image" and then use it to start threads, you are and avatarfagging tripfuck and should be permabanned. Fuck off.
2011-2012 were certainly the most interesting years anime has had so far this decade. I even say most of 2013 wasn't too bad but 2014 and 2015 have been god awful aside from the Fall seasons and Spring 2014 which was acceptable. I can't help but feeling the trends of 2014-2015 have done noteworthy and possibly lasting damage to anime as a brand. I notice the fanbase somehow managed to get a whole lot stupider and petty during that period of a little over 6 seasons too so it looks like anime is probably going to find a way to dumb itself down even more to appealing to the lowest common denominator during the remainder of the decade.

Somehow I doubt this.
This decade is when it feels like whatever and whoever was popular in the Light Novel and Visual Novel scene really started to take over the anime scene big time and now it's like that's all anybody really acknowledges, cares about or talks about anymore and if anime doesn't subscribe to those tropes it's seen as a sideshow or possibly not even a "proper anime" by the 90's generation people that got interested in it during the time period. Look at the kinds of shows people are willing to talk about or mention as highlights nowadays and it's almost always all VN/LN stuff.
I feel like you're talking about a pretty specific subset of people. There's still the SoLfags pushing their favorite SoL as highlights, 3x3fags pushing their favorite artsy shit as highlights, /m/ off in their containment board waging wars over every new Gundam, etc.
