Maybe not worst overall, but if I weigh in hype and anticipation, Bakemonogatari and all it's sequels have to be the shittiest series I have ever watched.

Worst anime overall (disregarding ONAs and low-budget OVAs) is most likely Dual parallel trouble adventures.
It tried to squeeze in every popular genre and it made the characters and the story a complete trainwreck.

I might try that then. There was another series that I didn't mind where the episodes were slightly longer (7-10 minutes), but I couldn't remember what it was called. I just looked it up and it's called Greathunt. But so far, anything under five minutes per episode has been terrible, so it's all riding on Encouragement of Climb (who translated that title?) to change my mind.

Five-minute ones specifically. Greathunt was okay, and that's about 7-8 minutes per episode. Five minutes just isn't enough time to get into something, especially when you consider that a couple of minutes each episode will be credits.

protag was your typical anime young man, heroine was either a girl with powers or an angel, either way she defeated the episodes problems by playing this magical keyboard which she summoned.

I actually felt sorry for the creators of that. Was there not one point they reviewed the story and just went "... fuck!".

I watched both. Denpa was at least funny at times even if the QUALITY and bad writing were everywhere. The comedic timing was correct most of the time, even if most of the jokes fell flat. I can't think of any redeeming qualities of Isuca until the fanservice OVA. It's almost impossible to stay consistently abyssmal over 24 episodes. It can be done in 10.

The entire show would have been a massive improvement if Rize had killed the main character in the first 5 minutes. I can't even remember the main characters' name, but I can remember some bitch that got killed off in 5 minutes, he was actually that uninteresting.

I will never listen to another irl suggestion ever again. It remains the only anime I have ever not been able to finish a season of.

Generally I'm a good judge of what I'll like, so its possibly not actually that bad in the grand scheme of all anime, but its the worst one I've tried to watch.
