I finally dropped this shitty manga, it's so bad and I wish

What part did you drop it at? And do you have a problem with shonen manga in general or just this one?

Current arc is pretty fun, honestly.

Dropped about 12 chapters ago, which is around when I think it's considered "dropping" and not saving up chapters. I honestly just got exhausted of the lack of character development, the knowledge that nobody was going to die ever, and Mashima trying to force tits into every single panel. It's just poorly written and I am only recently realizing it.

I know it's weird to drop this late in the series but better late than never. I actually have never really dropped other series before this one because I always think "oh maybe it'll get better" but I've given FT the benefit of the doubt for too long. I have a friend kind of updating me on the goings on, and it sounds like every other preceding arc but with more forced fanservice.

I dropped it at chapter 2. Fanservice is the only reason to read it, and I prefer to look for the specific moments instead of swallowing the entire manga only for it. I have to admit that Mashima is pretty damn good at fanservice.

I've dropped it around the tournament where the black dragon appeared, even then I still get to know all the Erza pages thanks to these threads. Fanservice was the only thing that kept me going but it only took me that far.
