What did she mean by this?
Come on OP, you should be able to figure this out.
Steiner is going crazy, seems 0 is confirmed for being much different than Epigraph trilogy. Here's adult Kagari.
And that's because it's based on a VN that explains much more. Plus, Cern is based on a real-world organization that's sketchy as fuck. You can fill in a lot of the blanks about Cern.
The whole story is based around a conspiracy where a guy traveled back in time to get an IBM 5100.
iirc, in one of the interviews, they did say the trilogy is included in the game, but not as the main route.
Welp, this is going to be fun. Really, really fun.
Posting best lab mem
>he didn't get all the endings already
I don't see how you couldn't get them all. The only ending that you have to go out of your way to get is the true one, and I would hope you got that one.
Full translation of the new scans.
You should be able to solve this.
Do you like, replay the entire game for each ending? Save before you make the decision to send the corresponding route's D-mail, and then reload when you get the ending and choose the correct one.
Before this, there's still some noticeable differences between them, that tells they're not related to each other.
Now, they literally look like twins.
As much as we may wish for it
As much as we may pray for it
As much as we may try to deny it
The blue sky we desire
Is one we may never reach.
Whose eyes are those eyes?
Those eyes are gods eyes.
It seems like a rushed, spur if the moment thing, so prolly something unimpressive like "Free stickers with every copy!" But hey, we can hope for more, right?
New R;N VN plz Chiyo.
The Steins;Gate event at Atre, which was originally going to end on the release of Zero, is now going to end on the announcement of the surprise. It's probably gotta be something fairly hype if it's to act as a finale for that. Maybe NoAH and Elite HD editions.
Presuming you just mean in 1080p, I don't think that's that hype. We've already seen them in 720p, and I don't think such a little boost in graphical quality matters that much to the VN crowd.
By HD, I mean HD in the same fashion as Steins;Gate HD for PS4. Having a current gen console version of those two (especially elite, which is currently only on Vita) would be pretty cool, and would also probably contribute to their abilities to get localized.
She says "Dame da koitsu... hayaku nantoka shinai to" which is a quote from Death Note (roughly translating to "This guy is hopeless, better deal with him quick") that became a meme in Japan. So yeah, she's memeing, which is why everyone at the lab starts going "Kurisu, are you a memester??" and she tries her best to hide (very poorly) that she is.
She made a Death Note reference, which was also a meme. The difference being that said meme has been used on 2chan since 2007, and is still somewhat used today. Whereas Commie used a meme which was already getting stale at the time they used it, and just seems horribly dated now.
>Steins;Gate was released in 2015 instead
>Kurisu says "What did he mean by this?" instead
>I make this thread again with the same OP message
>Someone can make a Yo dawg meem of it
We have gone full circle.
Who dares to summon the Master of Masters, the Deliverer of Darkness, the Shogun of Sorrow, Steiner?
Why was this anime so fucking shit?
>le funny fat otaku
>moeblob who we're supposed to care dying all the time
>reddit trap jokes: the character
>red hair sacrifices herself
>next day, they meet again
>boring as fuck OP
>cern we don't get to see them even once
MAL truly has bad taste for ranking it high.
That one wasn't actually me.
Oh sure it was gr8/10.
Guess while I'm here if anyone wants to ask anything before I go to bed in like 10 minutes, shoot.
Well, since it seems they've completely dropped that plot thread, why the hell not?
Kagari in the Epigraph Trilogy was
an antagonist, she was on good terms with exactly 0 Lab Members. After being abandoned, she was taken in by the antags and mentally conditioned to the point where she became psychotically obsessed with Mayuri. She believed Suzuha had stolen her beloved mother away from her and was hellbent on killing her and reclaiming her "mother's" love. This is where the naked fistfight would've come in, but alas, seeing it animated is now a pipe dream.
I don't normally wear my trip unless it's absolutely necessary. Force of habit.
That...doesn't sound quite interesting to me, but hey, maybe it's just me though.
Come on Steiner, you know it won't happen even if it's in the game.
Wouldn't make any sense given her characterization in Zero compared to how it's presented in Epigraph.
She's way too rational in Zero compared to her nature in Epigraph. She just wants her mother, nothing else really matters.
I'm still betting on Zero ending the same way as Epigraph, so I'll keep this tagged for sure.
Pic related. The year is 2025.
Possibly, I guess, maybe i'll rephrase if spoilers are an issue - how would the ending be considered, is it happy, sad, fulfilling, melancholy etc - a brief preview would be nice
Bumping with some artwork
Nah it was kind of a let-down if I'm honest. They really hyped Kagari up to be super relevant and it just kinda ended up like a wet fart. Who knows? Maybe this new approach will be interesting.
I know man but the fight was so cool in the novel, even getting it in the VN would've been cool enough if there was a CG.
That aside, I'm starting to worry a little bit about Moeka.
From what we've had presented it seems she's an antagonist again, but in the Epigraph Trilogy she was on the side of Okabe and a heroic figure, I really hope they don't fuck her up by making her the typical baddie again in Zero.
I'd say about [INFORMATION EXTIRPATED].
Well, it's getting a little late now so I should probably head off to bed.
Didn't pic related and a CG shown lately shows
Moeka is on his side?
Well whatever, sleep well.
Holy christ, ok
But yeah I was/am serious, I only have one episode left of R;N, but I wanted to savor it, so I just flipped on C;H because I want more SciAdv but it looks wierd and I dont like
"Itsumo Kono Basho de" is like the best one and I don't care what anyone says about the movie, just that ED alone makes its existence completely worth it.
Thanks for the orchestra version, I hadn't heard it yet.
Yea I love it, and honestly the movie is completely worth it for the final 3 minutes.
Heads up, there's an album called the "Steins gate Symphonic Reunion" that has like 5 or 6 orchestral versions of the various vocal tracks.
Eien no Vector. Shit's fucking comfy.
"True sequel" to Steins;Gate called Steins;Gate0. Both a VN and an anime are coming.
It's not much a sequel as it is the story of the Okabe who gives up after he fails to save Kurisu once and later records and sends the video d-mail.
There was a spinoff trilogy of books called the Epigraph trilogy, which was based on the Okabe from the future of the Beta worldline who sent that D-Mail with the plan to save Kurisu.
Then, they announced a visual novel about the beta worldline was in the works, and all the new characters were the same as the ones in the Epigraph trilogy, and the plot seemed similar, so everyone thought it would be an adaptation.
But, they just announced that it's a completely separate, original story with only the same beginning and characters.
That new visual novel is called Steins;Gate 0, and it's also getting an anime. It's basically a full on sequel.
They said they'd start work on the anime after the VN's release.
Which hasn't even come yet.
The C;C VN came out LAST year, and the anime isn't coming until NEXT year, so I doubt S;G 0 anime is coming in 2016.
There's plenty of time for them to get it out by Fall 2016 if they start working on it after the VN came out.
C;C is a different case entirely as it didn't even have an anime greenlit at all until March of this year. It's not like S;G0 which has had an anime confirmed together with the VN's announcement.
Is there any particular reason Class S is above Class A? When I was watching the anime, it felt like I was supposed to assume Class S was the best, but I just assumed it was in alphabetical order, and ended up getting really confused for the 3 or 4 minutes before they explained the pecking order. Why is it like this? Does S stand for something?
I'm actually just about finishing the last 4 episodes of this show today. I'll come back and say something about the show.
That fucking mask, make it go away, I don't want to look at it anymore, make it go away.
Those eyes are god's eyes?
I don't get the Mayuri ending in the game.
How does deleting the D-Mail AFTER it was sent and CERN knew about it stop anything?
Why didn't they delete the entire database to stop CERN?
Did CERN already have an IBN to decrypt the database and were only collecting others to ensure no one could get one?
Why did they assume CERN didn't have back-ups saved?
PLS send help.
>How does deleting the D-Mail AFTER it was sent and CERN knew about it stop anything?
It was deleted before anyone noticed
>Why didn't they delete the entire database to stop CERN?
You don't just fuck with the Illuminati if you don't need to
>Did CERN already have an IBN to decrypt the database and were only collecting others to ensure no one could get one?
The database was made with IBNs.
>Why did they assume CERN didn't have back-ups saved?
It probably takes some time to backup a database cobbled together from decades-old hardware. The point was to delete it before anyone checked it or made a backup.
but you get those foreboding messages from CERN after sending the D-Mail, doesn't that mean they already knew?
And wouldn't deleting the database be the absolutely best way to stifle any further time travel developments?
CERN didn't have backups saved because, in that worldline, no one knew about the IBN's hidden functions because Titor didn't show up in 2000, making the claim, with specific IBN engineers ultimately admitting it. The database itself is standalone, so there really shouldn't be a need for a backup, it wasn't as if there was a great threat of something getting in and wiping it, unless someone else knew of the IBN's hidden function. Which no one did. Besides Okabe and co.
CERN has time travel fuckery in the alpha worldlines. Pretty sure Suzuha was being tailed as well by someone from CERN through time. Thing about plots with time travel is not every event is linear, and the future can affect the past. I mean, Okabe couldn't save Makise normally since it would undo the very reason his adventure through time happened. We can probably reasonably assume that CERN's time travel shenanigans began with noticing the first D-mail.
