Different anon here. There's been a small group on AB who have been pushing for as well as actually uploading more manga there.

Still far from comprehensive, obviously, but it certainly wasn't an all eggs in one basket thing. At the very least, I believe most of the older scanlations as well as official scans are up there. Newer releases obviously aren't as readily available but at least those are still easy to get from scanlator sites (for the most part).

Why don't we make something like DJT's CoR? For those who don't know, DJT has a raw database that every anon in the threads backed up manually. Every anon was assigned between 50-100 GBs of raws and if/when they're taken down, they're the ones in charge of reuploading their share. Maybe every one of us could pick a series we like to keep local copies and mirror them when needed, then mail the links to the admin of the new site. We can even make a temporary spreadsheet or pastebin like this.

I've been maintaining a deathwatch for Pomf clones [1] and I've never been a fan of Madokami.

I do wish that if new maintainers take over, then they should take some serious steps for transparency, accountability and preservation of files. For one thing, get off OVH and host a mailserver with RFC 2142 roles.

I've notified #pomfret and ArchiveTeam of Madokami's issues. Some coordination will be done to preserve the files once we can.
