Since production started around the time the last chapter released a year or so ago, and Kyonani was revealed to be in charge of it last month, I'd say Fall 2016/Winter 2017 is most likely.

Read it a couple days ago. It was nice, but I feel like the relationship between Shoya and Shoko could've been much better. They just didn't communicate with each other that much. It didn't even need to be romantic, just show them "talking" about whatever, it's like Shoya mostly kept to himself much of the time.

Yeah, but the thing is his guilt and depression is almost all directly derived from Shoko, and he also shuts out everyone who hasn't made some kind of effort to earn his attention. It should be easier to talk to the others than to talk to her.
They probably could have spent more time together, but I have a feeling that both 1) a bit of that happened off panel and 2) it would have just been pages and pages of olive garden had it been shown. They only become relatively normal people at the end.
