It's pretty funny, and it's unique too. But, it's got flaws, like whole side stories that are poor compared to the ones involving the main characters. Sketches that aren't really funny at all or fall flat (This pumpkin is so hard!). All in all it could have been condensed down to 12 episodes without losing much.

Was it funny? I guess. The "what the fuck" moments were pretty funny. Too often the punchline was a reaction face though. It ended up being sort of repetitive.

You also didn't really get a lot of healing or sentimentality which is what takes SOL shows from good to great. There was that one scene with the voucher but that was just a drop in the ocean of hit-and-miss gag comedy.

Don't misunderstand me though, I really enjoyed Nichijou and I'd watch it again.
