Seems like it's a new direction from Bakuman & Death Note
After Bakuman I wasn't sure what to expect from this team next, but a lot of this ended up being really expected. It's kinda like Death Note Plus. Angstier lead, more fanservicey female protag, more blood. I was really hoping for something a little more surprising after all the interesting fake manga they came up with in Bakuman, and I'll wait for more chapters before passing judgement, but right now it seems like Ohba is just going back to his wheelhouse which is too bad.
If that's just about the worse way to go I don't know what is
& that's all for this chapter hope you liked Tsugumi new venture!
That was actually pretty good. I'm not sure how I want the crimson arrow to work though.
Is thirty three a final limit or can you reapply the command? What is the limit to the command? Is this like Death Note where a mysterious being hands someone ultimate power and it corrupts them completely or is this time going to be the opposite and the man who becomes the God of the New World is actually going to be a genuinely good guy?
>Cute winged girl
I hope this series becomes extremely popular. I need porn of her.
Huh where I didn't noticed anything slipping out?
There isn't anything showing, but in >>133120752 , for example, you can see the lines of her clothing, as well as the thighs they should be covering.
I could be wrong, but it looks transparent to me.
I know this won't happen but I hope there is no romantic feelings between him and his Angel. It'd just be refreshing as fuck, but I know the majority of readers wouldn't be here for that.
>77 / 64 / 11
>some edgelord manga written by the guy that made the trainwreck Death Note
Not surprising no one cares.
yeah but ryuk wasn't some qt angel girl. i know it's gonna happen but i just want him not to be smitten by her, i was actually impressed how much Light was so full of himself he didn't even give a fuck about the choice cuties all around him.
Another edge shit by Tsugumi Ohba? I'm not really sure I wanted this.
I still feel like there's something wrong with Obata's current style but maybe it's just badly scanned and retouched.
The story is bad and lifeless (how ironic)
The concept is interesting, sure but Ohba can't write emotional stuff for shit. The backstory is a big ball of cliches.
It's because they all fall that easily to him. For some people, something's worth is less if you can acquire it easily. Like paper or air is less worthy than the real prove of Yeti.
And due to his narcissistic and perfectionist nature I think he just hasn't met any girl who feels equal to him, especially in term of intelligence. Misa and everyone are too easy to be tricked. Remember that he looks down to anyone who acts foolishly, even if it's his father.
Naomi Misora I think had a potential, but she died too soon because she also fell too soon to Light .
>the aunt instantly suicide because his beloved nephew simply asked her to.
Well, the blood spurting was pretty scary I wouldn't try it that way, though.
Fucking picked up. I really liked him as a character.
Don't forget his psycho angel pal:
>Feel free to steal whatever you want and manipulate people.
>You made your aunt kill herself, but that's fine.
>I'm an angel; I'm never wrong.
Christ, even Ryuk had better morals.
>this series easily leaves the implications of rebellion and all kinds of shenangians able to go on.
i just hope each person whos picked is completely broken in some way like this first guy. this could be really really good.
i'm going to cry again at the end right? i know this new one is an original , but... i'm sure some good character will have a good death flag ready
Several times, even. The Book of Revelation is some funny shit: extrapolating from the info given in the 14th chapter, God is still planning to kill about 24 trillion people just for shits and giggles.
>not making the angle herself your waifu and as such gain influence in the "higher realm" unobtainable for mortals
You dont dream big do you
this whole who gets to be the next god game reminds me of mirai nikki
