I want to see Chrollo vs Hisoka before I die.
You know what to do Togashi.
Why would it matter? He wasn't around, you'll never know.
That will never happen. Neither will Hisoka vs Gon, Togashi gets off on making people wait for a new chapter and anticlimaxes.
Why are there so many HxH threads despite the lack of new chapters?
>whole concept of the RGs and Meruem is that they're anomalies beyond comprehension several magnitudes above the rest of the characters when it comes to power levels
>"would x defeat them???"
>Knuckle and Morel
>They straight up had youpi's nen on lockdown
It didn't mean shit because he had an astronomical amount of nen, it would never run out before he killed all of them. He only took the deal because he didn't know what that thing did and it annoyed him, so he wanted it to be removed.
Not that guy but you're forgetting something.
I would not be surprised if Chrollo was actually defeated off screen or something.
I mean, Hisoka was with the Nen exorcist he needed, I doubt he'd let Chrollo walk off without a fight after helping him. I could see they have fighting off screen before Election arc and Chrollo being already dead, but the Spider doesn't know it yet.
> Meleoron and his retarded hax support ability
> Killua's Kanmaru
To "defeat" Youpi and by that I mean seal his nen as the guy didn't have a scratch on him and instead he was growing stronger the longer the fight went on.
Yes, defeating an RG is imposible one on one. Unless you are fucking Netero or the "main character shounen potential".
We have a Canon List for just before Mereum went super Saiyan. Hisoka is strong, but not royal guard level.
You forgot to mention that unlike Pitou, this was the first time Youpi fought and he was evolving and getting used to shit in battle. Shit would have been embarrassing for the Invasion squad if Youpi started of with his final form.
Imagine Youpi with ranged attacks (the rage blast that Meruem used which was implied to have been available to Youpi in his final form).
Its a shame we never got to see more of Centaur Youpi.
I'm watching the Greed Island arc and it feels sort of weird to me. I mean why does the bomber even matter when they just got into a dodgeball match with a greek god and won? Why can't Gon just snipe that blond faggots head off from a mile away with rock he turns into a cannonball?
It feels like Razor was way more hot shit than the bomber, but they're still just freaking out over this dude.
People fucking hated how the Pitou Gon fight was handled. All these animeonly newfags loving that shit will never understand how we felt when that happened in the manga.
Years of fucking build up only for it to end in that pathetic one sided slaughter is easily the worst shit that happened in HxH ever.
I didn't even hate the fucking Gon-san. I hated that it became disgustingly one sided like Pitou was some fodder shit and not Gon's biggest antagonist to date who had such a big impact on his character.
>Gon sacrificing literally everything he has to kill Pitou
>hurr it's like she was some fodder
Are you retarded?
>but gon seem like a more gently boy.
Was he, really?
gon played the mighty game of suduko to win. literal deus ex required to bring him back.
I don't think that at all. Yusuke was a delinquent with a heart of gold. Gon is practically a wild animal and his mentality lacks almost any sort of good or evil distinction. The appraiser dude stated it directly, he's only really interested in what interest him.
It's the main reason he got along so well with Killua, he doesn't care the dudes a cold blooded killer, he just likes him so he's friends with him. End of story. It's also why he has no hard feelings towards Hisoka, he thought he was interesting, he didn't give a single fuck when the dude was killing everybody in the exam.
Gon brutally murdering Pitou and trying to kill himself in the process was the logical conclusion to his descent in the CA arc.
People who are disappointed because they didn't get an epic fight or a "good" resolution completely missed the point. It's meant to leave a bad taste in your mouth because it's a tragic moment for everyone involved.
The lack of new chapters is the reason for so many threads, Togashi is a genius.
Yeah. He should end the series now and just leave it up to fans to work it out. Or hell just steal fan fiction, rewrite it a bit and say he wrote it. Heck, he could even have sailor moon finish it for him.
now that i think about this this series powers i just noticed that even if you are weaker then someone, depending on your nen (type, abilities, and skills) you can easily overcome someone who is thought to be Superior
Reminder that he and many innocents died because of Gon.
> Should we follow her?
> No, it might be a trap
Gets me every fucking time.
Kalluto is anything but irrelevant. Only reason he didn't get involved with the Zoldyck conflict in the Election arc is because Togashi didn't want to bring a Genei Ryodan member back into the plot.
And why the fuck would he fight Killua? He's also obsessed with Killua, just like everyone but Milluki.
in doing so the "price" gon paid for his power would be less dramatic and only force to show how strong the RG are... and we are forgetting that even though pitou is dead there is a very high chance that gon has been "cursed" (i forgot the term they used for it and how strong they were the stronger the affect or so) where the one who is killed basically haunts them till death which make gon's future way more dangerous since he is without nen currently and more then looking going to the new world to look to cure his nen. this one sided murder give the series a chance to turn from its mostly lighthearted tone a direction im looking forward to but not expecting
Kurapika is so retarded.
He's lucky Mizaistom is a cool dude because Kurapika stands no chance in a fight with this dude.
They don't by choice. He is that one friend you have, who nobody necesarily dislikes, but nobody likes enough to want to hang out with him 1 on 1. However if your already hanging out, why not invite him? He can be occasionaly cool.
> The unknown finger
I'm going to rage so hard when it turns out to be something stupidly hax.
He means Abengane. He left GI with Hisoka to remove Kurapika's chain from Chrollo.
Actually if you take these two images ( >>133108667 and pic related) and do the math, Knuckle needed exactly 3.42 seconds to seal Youpi's Nen, it was absolutely fucking crazy.
Shit I meant 4.42, I blame my tiredness.
I read the entire thing from start to finish for what's currently available, and I don't understand how any of you retarded bumblefucks find it to be interesting or even good.
It's like Togashi finally snapped from everyone else ripping him off and he decided he'd get revenge by stealing dumb shit from every other mangaka to create his Magnum Opus of Shit. The Chimera Ant arc is the worst offender and I'm still salty at how fucking terrible it was with Perfect Freecell Ant and the last minute appeal to feel sad for him.
He abandons literally any and all interesting ideas he creates. York New was probably the best arc, and I loved his Nen system (until he shat all over it with power levels and Killua's retarded wishbaby sister).
Thankfully I know this nigga gonna die before this shit is ever finished due to being like a million years old, having terrible health, and hiatus every chance he gets.
S H I T
>anyone except Netero
>beating the guards
Wasnt the plan to distract the guards while Netero kills the King?
Also, Meruem slapped Pitou and the latter is still alive. I doubt anybody else could throw a blow equal or greater to meruem's
Pouf or Pitou
Knuckle or Shoot
Kalluto or Alluka
Killua or Kurapika
Feitan or Phinks
Chrollo or Hisoka
Kaito or Biscuit
Netero or Zeno
Silva or Ging
>last minute appeal
God damn you have to be a huge fucking retard to only start realizing how he is by the end.
Literally the only thing you need to know about powerlevels is that the RG are above anything else, powerlevels are hardly ever a factor.
Grabbing the little chinese checkers slut and having him thaw a little and become tsundere is last minute. He's a piece of shit and deserved death with all the other faggot ants.
Netero was literally the only based character.
>the year is 2075
>Togashi is still alive, as he sold his soul to the devil for 50 more years to play vidya
>Togashi clones himself with newly perfected cloning technology
>clone finishes HxH, original Togashi plays Dragon Quest CXVIIII
>/a/non is now old and on the brink of death
>opens up the newest raws on holographic computer screen
>translations come in a few hours later
>as /a/non reads the final words in the final chapter, he dies with a happy sign, shedding a single tear
These threads are fucking cancer.
There is nothing you can discuss that hasnt already been discussed.
The author is a lazy runescape playing slob.
You people even stretch out to argue wether a cat, that is infact half bug, half human is a female.
How would the Spiders have done against the Ants?
Where do my two bros hang in the power level scale?
I know Leorio was finally getting some time to shine when he punched Gin and Pika is super OP versus Spiders but I'm curious where they stand. have to be pretty decent to be part of the zodiac.
Togashi was wanking Kurapika pretty hard before the latest hiatus. He seemed to have leveled up quite a bit on his non-Spider combat skills.
I expect him to continue to impress once the manga comes back.
good for Pika being my favorite HxH character but I really hope Leorio gets a power boost too.
by powerful I was more meaning useful. I mean bisky can't be strongest fighter but shes very smart. so I was wondering where Pika and Leorio stood.
>will never cuddle a Pika
>will never go bowling with Leorio
>will never go fishing with Gon
>will never eat candy with Killua
it'd be pretty off putting if Hisoka did show up. its the dark continent arc. Its all about Gin, Pika, and Leorio.
He may use Hisoka to get Gon back into fighting shape. I'm more curious how Togashi will handle Killua now? Since Killua has Dragon Ball tier sister/brother hanging about, he is too deus ex machina for the plot and could ruin many things.
>I know powerman has the ability to beat anyone, but what if-
I'll warn you though, Chimera Ant arc gets kinda long and hard to sit through
still it will be a problem that Alluka can grant pretty much any wish with zero repercussions to Killua. I'd hate to see someone die and have them revived with Something's power.
>projecting onto a character THIS hard
I expect great things from Kurapika in this arc, I'm hoping Leorio will get a lot of character development as well. He might have the least interesting back story, and is the only sane member of the group (who somehow manages to bring the other 3 back down to earth), but I think that just lends more flexibility with writing about him. He has a lot of potential
>I expect great things from Kurapika in this arc
if only Togashi would start up again.
It was very necessary and logical to have him in the GI arc because he was just blueballed by Pika and wanted to get Chrollo's nen back.
Unless you mean why he hung out with Gon and co, that was for giggles.
Yeah it makes no sense. the fact that gon doesn't even have 5 for spirit is retarded. If there's anyone on the show who is shown to have conviction and spirit, it's Gon; he should be equal to Netero.
>not wanting to watch them boys work up a sweat in a life or death game of dodgeball
Hisoka had already pretty much completed his goal, this was for personal reasons. It was somewhat unecessary but very in character.
>Maybe because it's the most overrated manga ever made
Togashi is a hack. He never finishes what he starts. Only good manga he's made was Level E. Hunter x Hunter is going to end the same rushed crappy way that Yu Yu Hakusho ended.
Talent is how naturally you pick something up and also has a lot to do with how fast you learn. Like how some dudes can pick up a fighting game and bust out shouryukens and hadoukens just from seeing the input once but some people actually need to practice to do dragon punchs consistently and on demand.
Potential is more like a result, what happens after all the practice. If someone had more potential than another guy then he'd be the better one if they both hit the top.
Doesn't a lot of "Zoldyck history" predate the Hunter Organization? The folks before Zeno wouldn't have needed to be Killua-tier to take on pretty much anyone from that period.
Yea, though one could say that someone with more talent is going to have a higher skill ceiling. At least, I think most people interpret it that way.
Turns out I fucked up and read the columns wrong though.
>Hunter x Hunter is going to end the same rushed crappy way that Yu Yu Hakusho ended.
Togashi gave YYH a crappy ending because he was overworked and Jump wouldn't let him do what he wanted with the series, so he just wanted to be done with it.
With HxH he's free to do literally anything he wants and only has to write when he wants to, so i highly doubt it'll be the same.
It probably won't have an ending anyway.
Potentiallyyes but talent can be a double edged sword that drains their motivation because everything comes easy for them. If they can put in 1% effort to be well above average, but still need 50% effort to best others who put in 100%, you dont know which path they will take
Why would someone eat the shitty hamburgers and not the good ones?
Only retards don't like him, same goes for Gon.
Spider's nen abilities are OP. They could have easily won.
>Hey wind your arm up JUUUUUST enough to not kill me, after you practice controlling your power well enough of course
>K, now ima put on this invincibility armor and summon a fucking sun large and hot enough to vaporize this fucked up country
I hate that you guys call this a meme when it's literally one anon saying the same thing over and over. It has to be accepted and perpetuated by many people to be a meme, you're giving him too much credit and attention.
>having to give the spiders very specific fanfic conditions to stand a chance
>implying youpi couldn't just tank whatever pussy sun feitan farts out anyway
>They could have easily won.
Troupefags being delusional yet again.
>implying they would let Phinks wind up his arm the thousands of times needed to put a dent into them
>implying Feitan would be hurt enough to do his sun thing and not just die in one hit
The spiders are strong as fuck but the ants are just beyond everything else.
Why have Phinks do it? He could just get someone else to injure him enough, there's no way getting so much physical trauma in one spot won't kill the chinese manlet.
We've seen Youpi casually walk into the crater of a nuclear bomb seconds after it blew up. It was like a volcano.
Gon-san essentially was a suicide attempt.
A star is equivalent to thousands of nuclear bombs going off every minute. Not a single being could survive a star in the HxH universe without a specialized nen ability. Youpi explosion, Pouf's homosexuality, and Pitou's puppets wouldn't do shit. Except for Pitou's puppets actually. Her on death ability would kill Feitan.
I wouldn't say it was a suicide attempt, more of a revenge attempt without any care for his life. I think there's a difference between trying to kill yourself and being committed to something to the point where you don't care if doing it literally kills you.
You realize Feitan's ability isn't an actual star, right?
Wouldn't be surprised if this hiatus passes the 2 year record desu.
Are you honestly forgetting that Melereon was there and they revealed themselves to him? He would've killed Morel, but couldn't find the others and would have lost his Nen at which point he's an easy kill.
Also Killua had probably surpassed Pouf by this point and 100% Morel probably could've fought Pouf. Granted I'd say Pouf was clearly the least combat-oriented of the Guards, really more of an organizer.
>being committed to something to the point where you don't care if doing it literally kills you
I think he was actively trying to get himself killed, after arguing with himself he concluded that both he and Pitou were the ones who killed Kite and wanted to punish both of them. He said he was "redeemed some" when he lost his arm, so what would have been completely redeeming himself?
It's not. There are no stars that small.
Either way, in as realistic of a universe as HxH is trying to occupy it can't be said that anyone can survive Feitan's ability. The armor he gains has it's own oxygen supply because that's what would kill someone even if they could survive the heat (some-fucking-how). If someone even attempted to breath in whatever they used to diffuse oxygen into their "blood" (ants can be weird, idfk) would be seared and destroyed due to the very nature of a structure that would be able to perform that operation in a living being.
Feitan beats everyone unless he gets insta-ko'd or faces someone with specialized nen abilities.
Hmm, I hadn't thought of it like that, I've got to admit. I guess I could see it, but it still seems to me more that he simply didn't care. I think he started to blame mostly Pitou especially when he realized that she had tricked him, which is why he devoted all his energy to killing Pitou. I do think that he was clearly very depressed and didn't really care that he died, but I don't see it as him directly trying to hurt himself, if he could have gotten that power without nearly dying I think he would have.
I think that this is a ridiculously speculative thing to assert as fact. We've only seen Feitan's ability once, we have no real idea how powerful it could be or how fast it would be. I don't see how you can just pretend like we know everything about Feitan's power.
Pouf had no combat-oriented abilities, unless you count the clones that Killua could disintegrate easily. Pouf was clearly a high-tier Ant but compared to the other Guards he was the weakest. Of course my assumption is that Kamui wouldn't run out before Killua kills Pouf, which is the biggest hole in my logic.
youpi treaded across the molten remains of a nuclear blast mere moments after the bomb went off, and his brain didn't explode from being instantly superheated. he'd survive rising sun.
If he knew that Gon would kill Komugi, why didn't he just take advantage of that and only tried to "passively" get her killed? Did he just not want to get blamed for it?
Yes. It seemed like Pouf generally wanted to be in good standing with the King until, bit by bit, he broke down and simply wanted what was best for Meruem even if Meruem would hate/kill him for it.
Pouf still wanted to bait out Gon to kill Komugi before then. Once he realized that Meruem completely forgot Komugi he went overtime to try and have her killed.
Pouf would have Meruem ruling the world as perfection itself. Meruem died playing a fake boardgame with a genetic failure. Of course it's what he "thought" was best for Meruem, but everyone is just living out life the way they think is best.
His whole shit about enjoying the detours was just Togashi justifying his perpetual hiatus, wasn't it
And all that was considered threat Rank B, Now imagine how insane are those Calamities. Even Ging is afraid to face them.
>it can't be said that anyone can survive Feitan's ability
>feitan uses his ability of scorpion bitch
>everyone is like "omg he's using that again, lets run"
>"last time he used it, we watched what would happen and we almost died"
You're an idiot
>there are people who actually believe that manlet chink can beat Meruem
Usually you want to avoid powercreep in a story. With the ants, Togashi employed powercreep intentionally, and it sucked the life out of the series. HxH ended with CA. Everything from this point on will exist only for the purpose of milking the fanbase.
>Gon found Ging. It was boring
>Gon's character is fully developed. His arc is definitively ended
HxH was moving in a set, certain direction with interrelated characters (not-girl, troupe, Ging, Hisoka, Gon, Killua, Zoldyck family), until GI. GI was a slight detour (fillerish), and then Togashi pulled the whole story completely off the rails to focus completely and exclusively on Gon and Kite. It was a poor decision in my opinion. CA arc was not at all bad, but it should have been its own story.
>to focus completely and exclusively on Gon and Kite
Not to mention a bunch of other faggots he pulled out of his ass as needed. Literally 30+ episodes of developing an entirely new cast. What the shit was he thinking?
I think the rankings are more in regards to how dangerous they are to humanity. Even though Meruem was technically the strongest nen user that could be possible he was still a living organism that could be poison bombed. Meanwhile Nanika can commit mass murder all over the world and is a gas life-form to boot, which would make for a difficult extermination. I seriously doubt there'll be any individual with a powerlevel as high as Meruem again, and the focus on the calamities will be how overall dangerous they are rather than how outright powerful they are.
Maybe that's true if you have zero investment in the story or any of the characters.
>Gon found Ging. It was boring
Gon meeting Ging was intentionally underwhelming because Gon does not give a shit about him as father. If you expected some dramatic emotional meeting you probably missed the point.
>Gon's character is fully developed. His arc is definitively ended
How the fuck is a suicide attempt being 'fully developed'? Gon and Killua developed backwards in CA arc, they need to grow as people and repair their relationship.
In the meantime, there all the other interesting, under utilized characters doing their own things in a brand new, thoroughly interesting arc. You should stop projecting your lack of interest on the writing or the rest of the audience.
Do you enjoy coming into these threads and spewing shit?
>Kalluto knew about nen and learned it at an earlier age than Killua
As expected of the real Zoldyck prodigy.
A question i've always wondered. If restrictions can increase ones nen power why don't people on the verge of death or losing place an extreme restriction on themselves? For example Netero who knew there was a good chance he would die could place a restriction on himself last moment all his nen would be used solely on this one attack and only for this one individual target and he would get massive power boost.
Netero essentially did this with zero hand, but it was more a way to see if he could beat Meruem with his own power rather than use the nuke.
I guess "oh shit i'm losing better make a covenant" isn't the right mindset to pull it off.
The moment Pitou bothers to use Terpsichora the fight is over.
>not being effected by the fallout from spending too much time on the Kaito/Ant arc
>assuming I expected or wanted a sappy father-son family scene
It wasn't bad because it was underwhelming. It was bad because it wasn't written well in relation to Gon's character. It felt like it was just tossed in there because it had to be.
>How the fuck is a suicide attempt being 'fully developed'?
Because if it wasn't already implied that Gon didn't learn from the experience, then the following arc would require more of the same, which I don't think Togashi can get away with. Gon's purpose as a character (aside from being cute) is finished.
>there all the other interesting, under utilized characters doing their own things in a brand new, thoroughly interesting arc
I hope you're referring to the pre CA characters. In which case, yes, this is what we should have had after GI. Then I would have had Gon find Ging, and then maybe Pitou kills Ging. That would have been better. CA is just kind of a conclusive arc. That is, unless you're a fanboy who never wants their favorite story to have an ending.
>implying hxh is even getting an ending
Half the people here bitching haven't actually read the manga.
>bitching for months instead of reading the manga
It's not about the CA arc though, what you complain about has been directly adressed. Gon isn't going to play a role in this arc and has learned from CA, he also says that reaching his goal wasn't as fulfilling as he expected it to be.
I'm not exactly sure what you're complaining about though. Do you mean that he introduced new characters in an arc that felt like a conclusion for the story?
CA is the one arc that Madhouse did perfectly, so not really.
Hunter Exam, Yorkshin, and Greed Island are all better in the manga though.
>CA is the one arc that Madhouse did perfectly
>CA is the one arc that Madhouse did perfectly
What? It's probably the one they butchered the most, even more than Yorkshin.
>CA is the one arc that Madhouse did perfectly, so not really
You've got to be joking senpai.
Madhouse's CA was perfect. They added dozens of parallels, ironies and callbacks that enriched the story. And everything 116 onwards was absolutely gorgeous.
>Kurapika is so retarded.
He isn't though. And it's already been established he's one of the smartest characters in the series.
Sasuga mangafag, your eyes don't seem to be working properly
Are you retarded or just shitposting? All of this was in the manga. The only thing Madhouse did was remove some elements or add stupid shitty filler like Kite's backstory or add a million deathflags for no reason in the first half of episode 85.
You know those things were in the manga, right?
>Kite's backstory wasn't in the original so it's shitty!
You're the textbook definition of a source material purist who hates anything that is different. And you didn't even have evidence like the other guy. Fuck off
Evidence of what? I never said it was bad, but it was still dumb filler in an episode that already changed the entire relationship between Kite and Gon and had even more filler.
Are you high? Chimera Ant in 2011 was the most butchered arc. Didn't capture what Togashi did at all.
Not to mention the decision to change Gon and Kite's relationship ruined the impact of the climax.
>clone finishes HxH
If it was a clone of Togashi, the clone would seek to clone himself so that he could play Dragon Quest while his clone works.
And from there it's just a never-ending cycle of lazy Togashi clones playing Dragon Quest.
>Chimera Ant in 2011 was the most butchered arc.
Hahahaha what. Togashi's writing aside, the animation and coloring in the latter parts of CA blew me away. You have to be high to think that Gon's transformation wasn't absolutely better than the manga (Madhouse even used the colors black, white, and red to tell a lot more than Togashi did about Gon's psyche).
This part in the anime was so much better executed than the manga. Somebody post the page so we can all laugh at how inferior it is.
>calling it better because it has one more color than the manga
I'm calling it better because there are no panels in the manga with the breadth and depth of this shot.
Why did Madhouse have to ruin everything?
Bait aside, this is the kind of people that the 2011 anime brought.
>Not knowing DQ is one of the best selling video game series in Japan.
Bait aside, Madhouse really did improve on the source. The framing and use of color here is so simple but so effective. And these shots >>133126178 >>133126218 are a lot better than their manga equivalents.
Kurapika's nen teacher/master. It was during the Heaven's arena arc when Pika was looking for work. In the anime Mizuken steals his hunter license from him, then follows him into a forest and shoots an acorn bullet at him. Kurapika evades it and tries to fight him back for his license but can't because he doesn't know nen etc.
That was entirely filler garbage and wasn't in the manga at all.
I think one of the abilities of Hisoka is his creativity and I'm sure he'll come up with some kind of plan and somehow defeat Pitou. I'm %99 sure Hisoka is actually one of the strongest characters on HxH and the fucking final boss.
>Togashi manga adaptation focuses on LGBT aspects
And water is wet. Seriously this man is married to Sailor Moon mangaka and half of his cast is gay, go watch something else if that triggers you.
The CA arc was my favorite in the manga but i could barely keep watching it and almost got sick of it in the middle and at the invasion. How do you fuck up the pacing this bad? Literally the only thing they have to do is not drag the fuck out of small scenes and they still screwed it. That's not even mentioning the retarded changes they did.
There is like a handful of episodes and scenes in total that range between watchable and great. It's a fucking shit adaptation and anyone who defends it needs to kill themselves.
can we all just take a moment to remember how amazing the 1999 dub was
>Pouf or Pitou
Pitou was the strongest RG
>Knuckle or Shoot
Since both know their abilities.... Shoot I guess...?
>Kalluto or Alluka
>Killua or Kurapika
Killua, Kurapika is only really strong against Gen ei' Ryodan members
>Feitan or Phinks
>Chrollo or Hisoka
>Kaito or Biscuit
>Netero or Zeno
>Silva or Ging
Probably Ging, probably.
Does anybody know where I can read the second chapter of the Kurapika Tsuiokuhen One-Shot? Batoto only has the fast chapter.
>animators make a scene gay as fuck
>hurr it's Togashi
It's not even the first time either.
>hurr it's Togashi
Yes it fucking is. Did you even read YYH where the two male protagonists kiss? The homoerotic undertones in HxH are clear as day, you can't blame Madhouse for focusing on them.
How long until Hisoka takes Gon's boyhood?
How could anyone forget such a glorious dub?
You just completely let that joke/dig go right over your head. You said you wanted the series to speed up so that one Anon said go watch Naruto because its pacing is fast for the retards who enjoy nothing but fights and only a few lines or dialogue and I said Sonic X because of the Gotta go fast statement.
Them saying they almost died does not mean in any way that they were hit by his attack. It could very easily mean that they were almost killed just because they were almost hit.
>it can be avoided, it doesn't have a 100% kill-rate
It can only be avoided by fleeing entirely, which would be difficult for anyone except Cheetah-fag, Pitou, or Meruem to do considering how fast Feitan is.
No. Don't try to pull me into your faggotry.
Every time I reread the DC chapters I catch something different.
Give him a break, he hasn't been around a friend in a while.
He wouldn't do something like that. He just wants to keep in touch because he cares a lot about the peeks
Killua is at #24 on the most favorited anime characters on MAL list, he beat haruhi. Sasuga killuafags.
Hisoka is at #65
Gon at #145
Kurapika at #211
Meruem at #342
Chrollo at #785
Leorio at #646
Neferpitou at #731
Didn't see anyone else on that shit list.
>calls others faggots
This irony is priceless
Killua's development is shit anyways. Don't get me started on that needle cop out in the CA arc.
> It was this needle all along!!!1!
> Proceeds to fodderize Rammot who was a strong character
Instead of actual character development dealing with his cowardice, he physically ripped a mind control needle from his head.
After ostensibly learning the value of a healthy, loving relationship from being with Gon, we find out that he already had that kind of relationship with Alluka.
And the issue of him being a murdering edgelord is completely swept under the table after the Hunter Exam.
He's probably the worst and most inconsistent written character in HxH.
When Killua was directly programmed to do something, he rebels. If you can't see how this is relevant to the themes of CA or how it ties in nicely with Palm's arc (hence why they're paired together) you are literal retarded.
>Instead of actual character development dealing with his cowardice, he physically ripped a mind control needle from his head.
He figured out the needle's existence through coming to grips with his "cowardice".
>After ostensibly learning the value of a healthy, loving relationship from being with Gon, we find out that he already had that kind of relationship with Alluka.
The needle kind of prevented him from remembering she exists.
>And the issue of him being a murdering edgelord
Are you a 99fag of something? Read the manga.
Both Killua and Palm’s arcs hinge on their ability to make individual choices – even when each of them is directly programmed to obey orders, they rebel, and choose to honor their chosen, individual loyalties over any programmed direction. But as with our capacity for love and change, our individuality has a dark side as well, and it’s unsurprising that Chimera Ant chooses to express this darkness through the grim irony of humanity’s final weapon.
Fuck off. The mind control needle was the biggest bullshit in the entire series and I don't even hate Killua. It was a terrible way to handle the situation when we all thought it was a psychological hold Illumi had over him due to the fact he drilled that way of thinking in him ince he began training him from a very small age.
You had Biscuit saying the exact same shit and I was expecting something interesting out of it only for him to take out a random ass needle and say it was all because of this. Seriously, fuck off woth that shit. So fucking lazy.
If you don't like Killua then you don't like any HxH character. He's the most prominent, developed, AND complex with the most intruiging history.
His character carried a good chunk of the Election arc too.
>The mind control needle was the biggest bullshit in the entire series
So you didn't understand CA then?
>It was a terrible way to handle the situation when we all thought it was a psychological hold Illumi had over him due to the fact he drilled that way of thinking in him ince he began training him from a very small age.
He did. The needle was a metaphor. When he overcomes his trauma, he literally pulls it out of his system. Learn into visual storytelling you fucking mongoloid.
He's a shit character who was still about "muh friend" even during the CA arc. He didn't change that much at all until the election, all he did was react like a cunt to Gon's breakdown.
>immediately dismiss anyone who didn't read the manga
>deny the homoerotic undertones and LGBT themes in HxH
>consider Killua, the clear best character in the series, to be shit
>dislike CA because it was too slow for their naruto-tier taste
Why are HxH fans so cancerous?
>If you don't like Killua then you don't like any HxH character. He's the most prominent, developed, AND complex with the most intruiging history.
Did anyone else laugh at Togashi trying to use the needle as an excuse as to why Killua didn't give a fuck about the sibling he was supposedly the closest with?
Its amazing how a single needle, that only purpose is to make Killua fuck off when he sees an enemy he isn't confident of defeating now work as a memory eraser.
Killuafags will defend this though.
Read the manga.
>most intriguing history
Bull to the fucking shit. Kurapika has a way more intriguing past than Killua.
You think just because he's from a family of assassins and has a "brooding dark past" (raised to kill, get it 'kill-ua' hurr so clevar) his history must be so epic and enriching. Fuck off.
