>Aldnoah.Zero S1(that OST)
>Akame ga Kill
>Seitokai no Ichizon
Star Driver is actually dope af. Probs my favorite ironic watch ever.
I really like it
So what if its shit
I enjoy eating it
I don't want to change
I'm still not totally sure how people felt about it actually.
The ending was great.
>I dont know, but /a/ seems to hate Mushishi for some reason
are you completely fucking retarded
Because SEED was subpar and tried too hard to be like Wing. Destiny was just a mind baffling and unprofessional mess that did little to improve on what SEED could have bought to the table.
I listen to birden, bless and VON from the ost everyday. The episode with the ferris wheel is also one of the most powerful episodes of anime you'll see.
>Not watching it for cute Slaine
>Not enjoying Slaine's suffering
Inaho was literally who?
Well its probably not one of the most hated anime here but i've seen quite a bit of shitposting about what i consider the best shounen anime ever made aside from YYH
>implying anyone else watched or remembers this
Gantz was a go-to series of mine for a while. Despite the fact the final arc was paced like a snail pushing a brick across a desert before abruptly rolling over to die.
>And that's what made it great.
No, it wasn't great. Enjoyable yes, but far and away from "great"
I hated Five since the moment she showed up.
Until this part. Why
I've hardly ever seen C3 discussed.
It was pretty good, mostly a poor man's Bleach/FMA bastard. Too bad the manga went to shit.
it was enjoyable if you weren't an assblasted BRS fan
brainless shit that was fun to watch with /a/
Is it wrong to like a series just for the last ten minutes?
I will never understand people like this. What the fuck do you want from an action anime?
>powerful MC who defeats everyone with ease
>"BORING BULLSHIT OVERPOWERED CHARACTER"
>MC who looks like he's going to lose but defeats his opponent at the last minute
>"BULLSHIT DEUS EX MACHINA ASSPULL FAGGOT"
What the fuck do you want? You want him to lose and then spend the next two episodes being emo and crying about how he "wasn't strong enough"? Give me a fucking break.
Not sure how people feel about this one but I enjoyed it a lot.
> I watched this when I was 3
> Omamori Himari was 5 years ago
A lot of characters had colourful hair in this.
It has a great cast.
Not sure how /a/ feels about Terra Formars, but I fucking love it. It's so stupid, yet so fantastic at the same time. The spin-offs are pretty enjoyable, too.
i like it a lot. most fun ive had in years
I haven't seen anyone other than myself who thought S3 was awesome rather than shit.
General opinion seems to also be that S2 was shit.
Love the show in its entirety, but the haters are the more vocal.
Samurai Flamenco is legitimately great though.
>math rock in the OP
everyone else shat on it but I liked it
FUCK OFF CLANNAD HATER.
THIS IS GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD, COMEDY EVER SAID, SOL EVER CREATED AND DRAMA EVER MADE.
I'm talking about both the original and Brotherhood.
Brotherhood was better though.
Captain earth,It needed either more episodes or less side plots popping up, but I loved the show, great animation, comfy setting, and world building was alright for what we got.
>mfw captain earth episode 1 threads
it was so fucking hype
Sinon is the best part of the franchise you faggots.
Concrete Revolutio is p good, but not for everyone because the story telling is non linear, not everyone can keep up. They also doing Noragami Aragoto as well.
They doing My Hero Academia next season tho
Entry level pleb shit aside from soundtrack, but I love it.
Maybe it's because I'm a bitter loser but I actually enjoyed most of the "you can work hard but someone will always outdo you without trying so fuck you" drama.
Also Mashiro a cute and the colors and music were great.
Jesus fucking christ anon
A boy falls in love with a girl.
Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.
But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.
Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
Now with its own OP: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NShEKYoPXw
And ED: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIX9aoN7g4o
Yeah VON playing at the Ferris Wheel scene was fucking amazing.
I though it was better than the negative responses it got.
My other vote goes to RnL.
Terra Formars is one of those things that while poorly written don't rely on that.
Terra Formars is an action manga, and the action is great, the fights are fucking amazing, I can say all the fights managed to hype me up.
The fact that the roaches are so easy to hate makes it easier to side with the humans too. Everyone is based as fuck and dunno man, it's just really FUN to watch.
The girls make my dick so fucking hard too.
I reckon I might well be about the only person on /a/ who would kill for another season, but fuck you all, I liked it.
While the plots aren't the best, I think the characters are absolutely fantastic.
Keiji is an amazing character.
Well damn, I didn't even bother to ctrl+f for "coppelion" because I didn't expect it to come up anyway. Strangely moving to see another anon left who likes it after all these years.
The characters are indeed charismatic and likeable, which I why I said they're all based.
The plot is there so that it isn't mindless killing(more than it is) but it's not really the "point" of terraformars. The point is the cool fights and the cool characters.
It bothers me that people think something is bad because it's not 2deep4u, it's like genres don't exists for the fags on /a/.
That one was okay in my book. Had my sympathies for triggering the predictably moralizing ANN crowd.
>something something chip analogy
I enjoyed God Eater, but I was going into it as a big fan of the game so that's to be expected. Wish we'd get the missing episodes already, though...
Yeah I'm pretty sure /a/ loved it so it's not actually valid for the thread topic.
I mean it ended in a pretty shitty manner and Mikono was a fucking awful character, but overall I had a great time with this.
/a/ hates anything that attracts too much attention. Mushishi is episodic so there's not much to discuss and therefore never got a ridiculous amount of threads to make other tards feel like the show was encroaching on their selected AOTS threadspace
Never understood the hate for this either, dumber shows got more love and Ufotable did Gyo adaptation - they already showed everything they do isn't nasuverse sparkly
I really liked [C]. Although it may be because I'm a finance major with an Econ Minor, but I enjoyed it all the same.
Yoru no Yatterman
All seem to get a large amount of hate outside of the small airing threads but they were some of my favorites out of the year.
Also, Kyoukai no Kanata was fantastic, and Tamako Market is a 9/10 show.
Why is this shitty pasta being spammed in almost every thread recently? It used to only pop up every once in a while, but over the past few days it's become extremely common. It definitely couldn't be one person forcing it, now could it?
I guess, but before the guy had enough self-control to only post it in those "make up your own anime plot" threads. Obviously another anon with hyper autism is having a great time copy pasting it all over /a/ and wherever else he browses.
Are you me?
I vastly preferred it to the original and I'll be damned if everything that wasn't the mechs looked gorgeous.
This screenshot was close to 5 MB before I compressed it so I could post it on 4chinz. And it's only at 720p. Show was damned pretty to look at.
They probably want it to look like the mc is going to lose at first, but then manages to win in a way that is skillfully set up and maybe foreshadowed a bit, rather than have the mc win in an unexpected way that comes out of nowhere and seems like a solution that is made solely of writer fiat. Also, it's ok for the mc to lose and not cry like a bitch after.
Aimed more towards our Japanese cousins but the sentiments the same
Season 2 when??
BTW Taira Kiyoshi was the best character of that anime and they killed him for an absurd reason
The John Morrison dude could be great but he had no fucking screen-time
Taira-san > Ryota = John Morrison > Nice boobies blonde girl > the yandere shota > the 4channer raper
I liked GC
i just wish it did better in japan as far as rating and sales, i really wanted another season
Had the best OP and EDs of the year.
S1 was pretty solid
S2 was weak in general other than the Sabrac fight
S3 was pretty great, but you realize that it mostly focused on the Shana and Yuuji dynamics and skipped the multiple subplots and world building that the Light Novel had.
One of the best final fights I've seen in anime though. I swear, Shana going URUSAIURUSAIURUSAI and suddenly HISHOKU NO SORA starts playing is still one of my favorite moments in anime ever.
It was fun after the extremely rough start.
Rinne no Lagrange motherfuckers.
Fuck you all, it was awesome. Also god-tier OP.
The OP was great, and so was the scenery. Cast wasn't bad either.
Loved every single episode and rewatched the show twice already.
>Inbefore le epic sleeping meme
This. We got best the KEY heroine out of it.
>i missed muh edgy le lelouche gary stu MC
Also pic related.
You are not special for liking Angel Beats tho, it was the biggest show that year. f/a/ggot hipsters got rectally wrecked hard but minorities stay irrelevant at the end of the day.
M3 was bad, but entertaining. It had a good voice cast and the scientist made every scene he was in better.
I wish the mysteries had a better resolution.
It was also too drawn out. The 24 eps probably would've been better cut down to 18.
That bridge was the most compelling character.
The worst part is,
I like it for more than just the tits
I really enjoyed it. Every fucking episode of it.
Those EDs though
Bad writing,but I enjoyed a lot.
I enjoyed it. Maybe because I took a break from going to /a/ when it aired.
Everyone likes to hate on SEED Destiny on this board, but I think most people actually liked seeing Kira Yamato fly in, LASERBEAM everything, and take the main character role. They're just too ashamed to admit it. Sorta like how many homophobes are actually gay themselves.
Ninja Slayer is GOAT and Koki a cute!
i wanted to watch ninja slayer, like i watch all my animes: stoned
so i start the first episode while tripping balls and i was fucking terrified, cant even remember what happend i just know that my brain did not understand this and i immeadietly deleted the anime :/
S2 was shit, S3 was okay. The usual 'S2 was filler shit, S3 was too fast and skipped things'. It's not a master work, but a nice simple battle series with a light romance (that aspect could be far, far better).
>we will never see Mana and Meisa animated
>Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom
>Kyoukai No Kanata
Is Sakurasou really disliked here? Just watched it about a month ago so I was never involved in threads when it was airing but I enjoyed it.
Even though the best girl din't win.and got shit on pretty hard
I thought the anime adaption was a real fun watch and enjoyed it thoroughly.
SnS is one if my favorite shows
S3>second half of S2>S1>first half of season2
I wish we could get a reboot that properly adapts the novels, but that'll never happen unless I become a millionaire
Also Valvrave and Cross Ange.
The art style was so comfy. Reminded me of the first generations of pokemon for some reason
>season 2 never
I feel like the ending was a bit too rushed. there was no proper conclusion with any of the characters. I thought I was on the second last episode and everything was going to wrap up in the next one, but the next episode never came
I think these three reasons are the source of most hate for GE
1)Shitpoters shitting on Ufo because of all the praise the studio gets
2)The constant episode delays
3)Butthurt MHfags that are mad because of GE getting an anime adaptation before MH
I played the VN and enjoyed it then (mostly UBW). The anime with the changes definitely gave it more texture I could bite into and I have no issues rewatching it over and over.
That said, can't waiy for the HF movie(s). Nasu should be able to fix a lot of the pacing issues that arc had if the UBW anime is an example of more polish to his works.
I love this shit so much somehow, I know the writing is pretty bad but it looks really good, the fight scenes were awesome and the music is beyond godtier. Plus the girls were pretty hot. I don't even self insert into the fatty either.
I replayed UBW after watching the anime at least thrice, and I can say the anime was polished as fuck, the VN felt very rough at times. Majority of people are buttmad because you can't have these extremely long winded anime monologues about the intricate mechanics of magecraft when outside of text form, it just doesn't work.
Sasami-san is insufferable garbage but goddamn if it isn't one of the most visually pleasing shows I've watched
I recently slogged through the 2nd half, then re-watched the first episode to figure out why i ever thought this was great back in the day.
Turns out I still like the beginning, the problem is, that it's a show about interesting characters trying to become normal and boring.
UD ending was only interesting part of post-timeskip and actually made sense and.
I remember people making fun of it for its name, claiming "rainbow" alluded to the show with its all guy cast being yaoi in disguise - and then it actually plunged right into men-on-boy rape. The faggotry was real. Dropped it right then and there.
Only ones who didn't like it were Tamaofags.
Mangafags mad that the author decided to change the story for the anime instead of making a 1:1 adaptation of their holy book
They're the kind of faggots who would ignore every good point FMA 2003 had and call it shit just because it doesn't follow the manga
>Akame ga Kill
Mein african american brother
Yamada-kun and the seven witches
I liked the 2013 Rozen Maiden.
I really digged the art style and how comfy it was. I wish for a second season, or even the first 3 season remake with this style.
I thoroughly enjoyed Guilty Crown, despite how predictable and how much of a clusterfuck it was. But then again, /a/ hadn't poisoned my mind at that time and buzzwords like "edgy" didn't exist in my head.
Hurr durr every other route is better then the fate route, also DEEN sucks hurrrrr.
Well fuck you its actually the best.
It's not even the same thing. FMA is a very good anime, and I can say that because it has interesting themes and ideas, good characters and world-building. The GG anime had nothing, it was just "TAROUMARU" and never kept what made the manga good: the balance between "moe" and "horror" and Yuki's reality slowly disappearing until her famous breakdown, each girl's role (which was really unclear in the anime), keeping the fucking dog dead, staying consistent character-wise, keeping flashbacks to a minimum and so on. All things that the anime didn't do, and more.
It was a fucking mess and anybody who liked it needs to seek help to get over their shit taste.
It's certainly not the best, but in my opinion, the CGI was well executed for the premise, and the pacing was acceptable, alongside the moeblobs in it.
It does have it's arguable flaws though, such as
>no interdiction technologies to prevent ships from going FTL
How else are you going to force engagements if your enemy can just GTFO and run?
>high-school space pirates
>no mutiny despite much older, experienced crew
>insurance companies literally paying people to pirate
>12 year old highschool rulers of an empire
>hyperspace as a deep ocean and somehow has depth in a 3-D coordinate system
This is simply unacceptable to me.
Besides that, it's decent.
Wrong pic. Meant to post
>>no mutiny despite much older, experienced crew
Her mother and father were legendary captains, and there was some resistance in the beginning, before she proved herself to be a great captain as well.
My gate way anime and nope I don't feel ashamed about it.
I had fun rewatching it again earlier this year.
True, but a simple countermeasure such as ensuring that the engines are instead running in a closed-shell isolated system would render immunity against so-called electronic warfare.
You'd need to gain total access to the mainframe, and by ensuring a closed-shell system, engine operations are totally independent from the central computer, even if the mainframe is compromised.
These guys should really consider redundancy in multiple systems, to make electronic warfare all the much harder.
Maybe I am overthinking it....
But that would render it much more difficult to integrate the engine with the other parts of the ship. I don't think a FTL jump is just the engine, since it probably requires several calculations so that they don't end up in a black hole and just die. Though I see where you're coming from.
True, I get your point.
They could have made it harder though, or make it that emergency sensors would still be available so you aren't totally fucked when someone jams your main computer.
But hey, it's a moeblob scifi anime. so it's not too bad.
Turns out I'm not the only one on /a/ who watched it and loved it. Have some OST, my gentlemen of afroamerican ethnicity!
>Asuka cancer this high
>Kurimu higher than anyone from the council
>best girl Akaba only high tier
whoever made this has no taste whatsoever
and that OST
No other episode to this date has hyped me more than that final battle did.
I agree with you on GF B and Sasami-san. Haven't seen all of BRS though.
Isn't the sister's arc pretty universally praised? If that's what you enjoy. The anime arc after that is horrid.
One of my old feel good anime. 2nd part made it even more Hnnnggggg
What's worse for an anime: To be completely forgotten for being unremarkably avarage and decent; or to be remembered for being an embarrassment for its creators and the whole medium, maybe not even in a "so bad it's good" hilariously trashy kinda way, but just as a step-by-step guide on how not to do an anime?
It really, really wasn't that bad.
The manga threads before the anime were fine. Then the anime came along and the typical /a/ paranoia over 'muh normalfags' set in.
Green was best girl.
Ending sucked though.
>Best girl didn't win
But anon she won.
I'll give you the first half was pretty good, even some episodes from the first half, maybe until the banana episode.
I shred a tear every time I think how they wasted the god-like character designs and music.
For me, the first 2/3 was great (second half was fine until after the banana episode), the Altair arc was mediocre but watchable, and then finally the last 4 episodes started to actively piss me off. But while it ended badly, it didn't completely negate the fun I had with the vast majority of the show. Just turned the show into much more of a "what could have been".
Also helps that I watched it after it finished and knew exactly what I was getting into, I suppose.
im sorry i can give everything a pass but fuck you and your shit taste.
I got to 4 episodes
It was shit m8
come here and nuzzle under my moobs and ill show you better anime
