The final few chapters were like a slap in the face.

After the Varia arc the author had complete freedom: you had a formed group of character that had just undergone a lot of development and the world had been greatly expanded.

Why choose time-travel and then make it last over half of the series is beyond me.

This was the worst by far. It seemed he was developing very very slowly in the early arcs but then he froze completely until the end.

Tsuna was an interesting MC at first, one would imagine that his character arc would be his growth from bitch to badass.

But no, he starts as a bitch getting flustered at Kyoko and 400 chapters later and after saving the world many times he's still a bitch who gets flustered at Kyoko.

Tsuna show absolutely no character development from chapter 1 to the end other than the fact that he got stronger.
Strength ≠ Growth, dude was still a coward at the end that didn't want to take responsibility.
