It's a fairly popular manga I think, it's just that it's been around for long and the plot isn't chronological even if all events are connected and referenced across chapters, so there's not much to discuss besides appreciating the released chapters.

One I just re-read: arashiyama hearing about some mysteries from her friends, sanada wants to jump in and starts to talk about a mysterious soba place... hotori tells him to stop because she doesn't have enough time for so many mysteries so it's left like that... but it's a reference to an older chapter (which takes place later chronologically) where hotori and sanada look for the soba place only to find out that it's the place where sanada's dad took him to eat after the funeral service of his mom.

I've been stalking 2chan daily for soremachi threads and saving every picture I could find since a year ago. They always have a surge of threads after a chapter is released, but you have to keep watch frequently because if you miss a thread and it gets pushed off the board, the art in that thread is lost forever.

Romance and relationships is one of the themes of the manga, but I wouldn't call it a romance focused series.
There's a lot but never overboard, for example:
Morisaki (teacher) as the crush of another teacher and Hotori (but hotori's is done more as a joke, very lighthearted and nothing serious)
Sanada has a crush on Hotori
Tatsuno has a crush on Sanada
Eri and Hotori's brother
Plus other ones and so on.

Why are people sexualizing Kon? She's so pure.

Also why is there a huge gap in the English chapters? This is probably my favorite SoL series by a fucking mile, since everything is so connected, and the relationships are honest and believable.

It really makes me want to pick up everything and move to a close knit community

Not exactly.

Basically, as another anon said, the numbering changes between the magazine publication and the volume, because sometimes a group of chapters get put togheter in one single chapter, because it's a single arc split in more parts.

So, Abandoned Village part I, part II, part III -----> one single chapter called the Abandoned Village.

Volume 13 is chapters 99-105, in the magazine these were chapters 104-112.

So, only the first 3 chapters and the first part of the 4th chapter aren't on kissmanga and Nyaa, not the whole volume 13.
