I can't find Cthuko version of the OP song, could someone help me?
At least Haiyore! Nyaruko-san had a happy ending.
Imagined her saying that, it almost made me tear up. I'm on the bus goddamn it. She was too good for this world. Good night sweet princess.
>Sister, Friend, Lover
>I’ll always be by your side
>So please don’t write me off so easily
>but accept me
RIP Kuuko, I'll miss your lovely voice.
I just started looking through all the tribute art on pixiv.
This is the worst.
God damnit. I loved her in her role as Cthuko.
If Khorne happened why is everybody so sad and why is there no bloodshedding or skull taking happening?
She was a good girl
No. He gets tenderly loved on their wedding night.
It was such a cancerous and shitty series, but I still miss it
Kuuko was easily my favorite
I got into it for Kuuko
>dress warm so you don't catch a cold, Kuuko
Fuck everything ;_;
Anything else worth keeping from the sticky?
send help, these constant depressing news are building up
I was not yet ready for more depressing news after this ;_;
Hit me hard because I instantly thought of Kuuko.
This is entirely too depressing of a way to start off a week.
I started rewatching the series after the news yesterday. Does anyone have the screencaps from that anon who interpreted the episodes as a Lovecraft novel? I had all of them but lost them to a hard drive failure, suddenly want to read them alongside each episode.
The LN ending needs to be changed so she gets married to Mahiro. Or she gets her own spinoff.
She just wanted to get married before she died ;_;
Probably all future Kuuko threads will be funeral threads
For such a young talent, Miyu's already had so many roles under her belt. But the one I know Miyu for most is Kuuko.
I admit I somewhat overlooked Kuuko at first, but then the 2nd season hit and I somehow fell in love. Not just because she got dere for Mahiro, but her character seemed to momentarily tickle something in my mind that made me notice her more.
I can't believe that she's gone, this is a terrible nightmare.
Miyu seemed like such a nice person that I wonder if she ever had the chance to start a family at least. I don't know what to feel right now. I mean she probably could have gotten way better treatment for her acute pneumonia in America, where we actually do have some great medical treatment compared to most other nations, if not all. Fuck fuck fuck fuck
She wanted her baby
Miyu will always be Hisui for me but Kuuko was great also.
Takano Naoko (Kohaku) only has an Ameblo blog, and so far it hasn't been updated since the 17th last month. Of the Prisma Illya staff, only Ueda Kana and Nazuka Kaori have tweeted about it, along with mangaka of PI. Kadowaki Mai and Itou Shizuka haven't commented on it in any of their social media pages.
I didn't know it was her then when I first played Melty Blood, even though I used the Kohaku+Hisui setup. But yeah, I did eventually learn that, too. Fuck Nasu for being so slow.
This is probably the first industry death that hit me the most simply because of how sudden it is and how she voiced so many characters that I grew up with during the mid-2000s (Yoshinoya-sensei, Isumi, Fujiyoshi.)
Not after her arc.
She still wanted Nyaruko because that's her one note role in a comedy, but in the rare moments we saw serious Kuuko, she enjoyed her time with her shounen more.
>This was probably the first big Seiyuu death /a/ has experienced.
It was probably the first one most of the current population experienced, but I'm sure there have been others that went before her.
There have been deaths other than seiyuu that have had big impacts. Nakamura's passing was a big one, as was Yamaguchi's.
>lewd and delusional Kuuko wanted to impregnate Mahiro
>calm and loving Kuuko wanted to have his baby and name it Kuroko
Yeah, and I'm suddenly beyond disappointed that I stopped where I did. But I was actually trying really hard to top myself week after week with those, and I was having problems with it. I kind of want to rewatch S2 and try to pick up where I left off. I was right in the middle of the Kuuko arc, too.
Thanks for those caps. I still had the folders with the text files/screencaps on my hard drive but it crashed about a month ago, and I honestly made myself sick over it. I knew I'd see the S1 caps if I lurked enough Nyaruko threads but those S2 threads were pretty sparse so I didn't think anyone would have 'em. That's also the only time I ever used a tripcode, and I honestly don't know how they work, but I'm pretty sure the secure one I was using would be dead since I'm behind a different modem and on a different machine. I think this was the original one though.
I think Kawakami Tomoko's passing was a pretty big deal too, considering she was in Utena, Air and Kanon, and Bleach. She had just finished Amber in Darker than Black only 2-3 before she died as well.
>mfw just read that in her voice
I was pretty sad at first but now it really hit me.
Life is too cruel
No he is right
Did you forget season 2?
Even if you couldn't make it to the end, we're still glad you cared enough about us to write those glorious adaptations.
Secure tripcodes should work even if you change machines, they're secure because they're based on a secret board-specific salt not because they're tied to an IP.
Is that so?
That reminds me, I could go straight through F. I think I'm gonna rewatch the series and see if I get any ideas. I've been pretty depressed since last night and it'd be a nice way to get through it. Nyaruko still gets threads here and there so I could just put it all together and post it in a thread if I see one instead of spamming like I used to. I'd probably have to reread some of Lovecraft's short stories first, but I'd love to say I finished it, it always bothered me that I stopped halfway.
Fabricated by Takeuchi to avoid making Tsukihime remake and keep on cloning Saber forever.
We were still going to have another season. ;_;
Remember that there is 1 OVA for S1 and two for S2
Leave Takeuchi alone
>Takeuchi was responsible for the maids and Hisui was his favorite character from Tsukihime as she was the perfect maid in his opinion
>Hisui was the basis for Saber
Talking shit about Hisui is the equivalent of talking shit about Saber to him.
>hear news as im leaving work
>plug ipod into car, play sister friend lover
>glance over at the moon, notice that it's red tonight
She's in space now ;_;
Yeah I mean F. This whole deal right?
Gotcha, I just never considered F as an S2 OVA because it was more like an ending for the series, with its own OP and ED and everything. I remember when they hinted at announcing something it seemed like it was S3 instead of an OVA, so it always felt like a stand-in to an S3 to me. But just making sure I didn't miss an OVA somewhere, that's all.
For someone who was generally a horny, lascivious lesbian, she had such gentle eyes at times.
A lot of people seem to know her role through Anna than Kuuko.
Before Miyu, I think Athena's VA was the biggest high profile seiyuu death.
Miyu hits /a/ hard because majority here are TM babbies with Tsukihime being most first ppt porn game.
I actually didn't know who Miyu was until people started posting her roles. I guess I didn't grab her name back when I watched Nyaruko and I didn't care much for many of her other roles.
I only found out about her a few years ago and I liked her in the Love Love series
I couldn't get enough of how melancholy and lovely that song was when it played as the ED. I didn't expect it to affect me even more deeply 2 years later.
The series is kind of shit most of the time, but if there's any reason to watch, it's Kuuko, especially during the second season and NyaruAni.
>the series is shit most of the time
How about I space CQC your ass to mars, faggot.
But the Kuuko drama is what helped boost her character from generic horny lesbian rapist. It's just that some of the drama, like Nyaruko's, just retread the same territory a few times just for the sake of trying to get us to feel some sympathy for her when she hardly warrants any in the first place considering her highly selfish attitude.
It was pretty fun and light throughout, and Nyaruko and Kuuko were cute as hell. Mahiro and Hastur shitted things up, but then Mom and the rotating supporting characters were good to counterbalance them.
>tfw your favorite VA is 35
>tfw Miyu is 38
>tfw now worried that she'll get sick too because she works too fucking hard
I don't want my waifu's seiyuu to go away.
I'd go bankrupt paying her medical bills without a second thought and there are probably others out there who would do the same.
Though departing at home surrounded by your friends might still be better than dying alone in a foreign country... ah, everything's so shitty.
>We will never near shounen~ from perflat Kuuko anymore
It hurts to live.
Why is the Japanese cold so fucking deadly? Fuck.
I feel terrible that I'm only watching this for the first time.
I'd gotten used to the pop culture references, but I sure as hell wasn't expecting this one.
I guess her immune system was really bad although I never liked the medical system in Japan.
Source me working in a hospital now.
With cancer, it's a known fact that it's pretty threatening. I got the impression that pneumonia wasn't serious mostly because I see no urgency from the hospital that treated me.
In EU. I just think it's lacking in a way I guess or mostly not 24/7 (perhaps a good thing to save money). I'm frustrated but not saying it's all Japan's health system's fault for this. That Anon is right that Miya had other health problems so in the end, she was a very sick person and I highly doubt doctors shrugged at her when she first started having the pneumonia symptoms back in July was it? Interesting read though.
Good. Hosptals have to deal with trauma patients, heart attacks and other cases where death is imminent. Pneumonia is serious, but as long as your recieving care there's almost no threat of imminent death. If your conditioned worsened, you would have seen the urgency you crave.
>Whose healthcare system do you think is the best, then?
The issue is that Japan has an excellent healthcare system that isn't being utilised. Doctors can't help you if you don't show up at the clinic. Japanese people avoid sick leave and try to tough it out, until it becomes serious. That's why whenever you actually HEAR about celebrities being ill, it is always a big deal.
I don't know about that, the article makes it sound like a shortage of doctors (due to state quotas) is what's hampering Japan's healthcare system.
I know that the working mentality is playing a big part but I haven't heard that many positives from their healthcare either.
FUCK FUCK FUCK, why all that is good in this world must die? Why /a/? Her voice was a delicious rarity that really needed more roles
Never heard of her up until now but given everyone's heartfelt reactions she must have been a nice person. It's always a shame when someone so nice and talented is taken from us and all we have left are the obnoxious attention whores who are too in love with the smell of their own farts.
RIP in piece.
Japs drop like flies from illnesses more than any other race aside from maybe Indians (and that's due to personal hygiene being a non-existent concept in that country)
The Japs themselves are ridiculously germophobic and thus their bodies haven't developed immunity to many illness that are less than a blip on the radar in other countries.
Fucking deadly Japanese cold taking alway all we love. ;_;
I got wasted and depressed in her honour. Really sad to see someone who was so loved by her friends and coworkers and someone who I personally liked hearing in my Chinese Cartoons die so soon. RIP
I picked up both Haiyore and Shimoneta because she had a leading role. I was so excited that she was getting some bigger roles and was seriously looking forward to what she would do in the future. Her voice was so incredibly beautiful and unique, she should of had so many more leading roles than what she did.
She was my favorite voice actor and I can't believe she's gone.
>The Japs themselves are ridiculously germophobic and thus their bodies haven't developed immunity to many illness that are less than a blip on the radar in other countries.
Pneumonia has a big chance of killing you regardless of your race/country. The problem is that Japanese people are supposed to work till they drop like flies before seeking medical attention while it is just some longer-than-normal cold.
>The problem is that Japanese people are supposed to work till they drop like flies before seeking medical attention while it is just some longer-than-normal cold.
Sounds like a typical communist Asian country. But it doesn't help that Japan's society is so ridiculously fucked I'm surprised their still holding together as it is.
At least they will need to change that attitude soon, not enough suckers being born every day to replace the dead ones, unless they want to be China 2.0 with a immigration invasion.
>unless they want to be China 2.0 with a immigration invasion.
The last time they tried that things didn't go so well for them.
>I've never thought of you as a son, but I've always respected you as a soldier, and a man.
I'm gonna stay here until we reach 500+ 250+. It'll probably take another 2 days.
I'm not sure if I can tell myself that she lives on in the characters she did, because right now it feels that they all left with her
Kuuko's hips are strictly meant to make children.
I usually don't like perflat, but Kuuko really got my
please 2015 stop trying to one-up the 2009 US celeb die-off summer.
She is dead and we will never hear her beautiful voice in anime ever again.
Let that sink in...
I'm currently watching through Hayate and was planning on watching Haiyore pretty soon. Dammit /a/, why did she have to go so young. ;_;
Thank you for sharing your wonderful voice with us, Matsuki Miyu. RIP.
Very sad news. Now I'm irrationally concerned for +38-seiyuu such as Ayako Kawasumi, Hitomi Nabatame, Ryo Hirohashi, Sayaka Ohara & Yukari Tamura.
>You're waifu's seiyuu will die in your lifetime
Don't worry Anon, I will be sure to take care of her when she reaches her thirties.
No, it's a combination of Matsuki and tsurai (辛い)
>finished watching Shimoneta 2 weeks ago
>started playing Tales of Zestiria
>and that the rest of the house heard everything
>SONS OF BITCHES SONS OF BITCHES SONS OF BITCHES SALTY PEACHES
/a/ is too new these days so all they know Miya for is Anna.
Sorry anon, but she did, we're gonna have to find a way to move on.
Her "singer" and VA are one in the same.
There was something really beautiful about Kuuko, and Miyu's voice helped enhanced that sentiment. She, at least to me, was more than just a generic horny lesbian.
/a/ is too new these days so all they know is Kuuko.
just like CGI computer-synthesizing from voice banks will improve to deliver more nuanced voices in the future. one day we will be able to digitally resurrect all the dead VAs.
I don't think he understood you know? US has good shit but has a fucked up insurance system.
I have to work in an ER of a pure ghetto.
From what I've heard it was fucked to hell and back (and cost America's government about twice as much as other countries pay for better healthcare) and ludicrously overpriced before Obamacare did a half-hearted job of salvaging it, but them I'm living in another country so I probably don't know the whole story.
A real crime is that she has no good figures.
Agreed. I'm not normally into flat, but her figure is luscious.
I bought Griffon's, I know I shouldn't have but I don't even care. I might actually try to track down that CM's Corporation one now if I can find it cheap. I actually bought FREEing's 1/4th Nyaruko almost solely because I wanted to get Kuuko as well and pair them up but FREEing let me down.
In the end, you did it for her. I hope she gets a nendo/scale/figma like Nyaruko someday.
It's a shame 'cause Nyaruko got a pretty hefty number of figures but I actually wasn't thrilled with any of them aside from FREEing's. Kuuko got a couple of prize figures that almost look better than her actual scales. It's a shame. I can't tell you how disappointed I am that FREEing didn't do a 1/4th since they tend to do multiple characters from series.
I can't help it, she has the same body type as my waifu. And I have a strong desire to
pin her to the couch while she's reading a book, lift her shirt partway, and then just nuzzle her belly while she squirms.
It may be a title and compliment from a bygone era, but you sir are truly a gentleman and a scholar.
Heart boners trump erections as well. There should be a bolster pillow lying around here somewhere.
Kuuko had a great belly.
Thinking of Miyu making Kuuko do soft moans and maybe ticklish giggles while kissing Kuuko's belly...
Okay, nevermind, I couldn't fap to that cuddleservice. I just want to imagine Kuuko in cuddles or something more endearing instead.
I got a big Kuuko folder so we're good.
BAD THINGS HAPPEN TO THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE, AND YOU FIND YOURSELF PRAYING UP TO HEAVEN ABOVE
>nyaruko aired during a time when webms still werent invented
I think my problem with it was they made the girls out to be the beings in Lovecraft themselves,in person,it would be more funny if these where their kids is my thought.
As to the VA who passed-no offense but I need to sample more of her work since a lot of these gals sound alike to me (Minnie Mouse on helium with a side of speed) there really isn't many Japanese female VA who stand out, sorry but that's the truth.
Looking back at Miyu's past roles, most of them were pretty minor. The ones in which she impressed me at the time were from Da Capo, Pani Poni Dash, Claymore, Nyaruko and Shimoneta. The latter two were her best works in my opinion, I'll miss Anna's lewd moans.
Here's one without the credits
Exactly how pissed do you think Kana Asumi is that no one told her about Miyu's death until after that event she had to go to on Friday because the staff thought she would be too depressed to go on stage. She was the only one on stage who didn't know.
I'd be breaking shit if someone did that to me.
Also she has not been seen or heard from since the event.
>Kuuko being in the early 2010s
>Yoshinoya at the end of 2000s and early 2010s
>Yoshinoya always wants to get married but can't
I don't know anon but the parallel to a very recent character and how Hidamari Sketch is just a super feel good healing SoL makes it painful.
It was in the mega-thread. But there was a fan event on the 30th or 31st for one of the two anime they were recently in together, either Nylarko or Shimoneta, and all the cast were warned before hand about Miyu's death except Kana and were instructed not to mention it to Kana. Kana was then told after the event before everyone went home. Witnesses tweeted that she did get upset.
And she has not tweeted, released a statement, or been seen in public since.
Of course her tweet and blog have been patchy this year since she got married in January, so it could just be coincidence.
It was Taketatsu Ayana that didn't know.
Here's the thing about Asumi Kana and Tamayura event
Which roughly translates to
>At the greetings at the end of yesterday's Tamayura event, Asumin commented "Let's do our best until the end of Tamayura", while thinking she was hiding her embarrassment from saying such things, she went on to say the same thing to the other cast members, and even Gibu-san who has never shed tears in Tamayura events started crying (to be continued)
>I thought there was something different from usual, Asumin and Gibu-san knew the death of Matsuki-san, that thought, the thought that that might have been the case made it heartrending.
>Death calling in everyone's tickets
I wasn't prepared for this just yet.
2016 is going to be worse.
It has begun, the end of anime.
I'm afraid that what >>133134470 says is true.
Looks like Ume-tentei is really depressed too.
