Seriously, though, Fragile is such a meh album. Roundabout is the only real stand out song. Long distance is ok, as is Heart of the Sunrise, and all the minor ones like the fish, mood for a day, etc. are all largely shit. As for "pure" hamon vs "pure" stand, the hamon user can not even see the stand at that point. Some of these stands can move at supersonic speeds in addition to all the other crazy crap. Seems cut and dry, but it really depends on the stand as always.

I understand exactly how King Crimson works. It more or less causes video game frame skips, but in real life. Everyone moves along their predestined path that Epitaph predicted during "erased" time, except Diavolo who can do whatever he wants for 10 seconds. The rules are not 100% consistent tho because Araki thus some confusion on how it works.

This actually winds up giving it almost exactly the same utility as The World, but with a small amount more counterplay (Polnareff's blood trick). Instead of stopping time, the whole universe just blacks out for a moment and is unable to harm Diavolo. He likes to do exactly the same thing as DIO does with his time ability; walk up to defenseless people during stopped, er, ERASED time and punch a hole in them.

Yes, I was always really amused that the villains seem to think that making them unable to breath (puncturing throat/damaging heart) is this big crippling weakness specific to Hamon users. And not just a good way to kill anybody.

But besides that, vampires typically delt with Hamon by just having some strategy to not get hit by it at all. Vampires pretty much die instantly with even a touch of Ripple. Even Pillar Men, who can survive a few minutes in sunlight without turning to stone, fear Hamon. Joseph ends the fight against Esidesi after he finally lands one good hit of Hamon Overdrive on him.

Say for example we have a man with a gun, and a man he intends to kill with said gun. This is Man A and Man B.
Man A fires the gun at Man B. Say KCs power were to activate here, and it takes just over 10 seconds (somehow) for the bullet to hit man B.
If KCs power were to activate here exactly as the bullet left the barrel, then at the end of the 10 seconds the bullet would hit man B, killing him.
But if KCs power were to be activated 5 seconds in after firing, then the bullet will never actually hit Man B - it will just continue on its trajectory on the other side of Man B as if it had been flying unobstructed the entire time.

This is because the time that it would have hit Man B was "erased" - any events that would have happened just don't in the erased time, and afterward, events continue as they would have before time was erased.

So to sum it up, a bullet is going to be exactly where it would have been after 10 seconds of flight, but anything it would have hit in between is unmolested, because said events -did not happen-.

It actually has a fair bit more utility than Time Stop. It's just fucking stupid and clearly Araki could barely handle it himself.

Kinda, yes. DIO uses time stop to kill people, while Diavolo primarily uses it to avoid shit that would have hurt him / avoid detection.
This is mostly enabled by epitaph, allowing him to see what parts of the future he wants to "erase".
ASB actually does a pretty okay job of getting it across, with him being mostly counter focused. Also his run animation is the best active example of my explanation, as he skips forward and "erases" the time he would have been hit by projectiles, and they pass right through him.

Anyway, I don't think my explanation is perfect, but I do think it gets the job done, do it might be helpful to cap and keep around.
