Hard to put into words but for one, Araragi is a friendly lecher version of Ginko, while Akihito is just a friendly lecher. There is a lot more playing with names and words in Monogatari and Ginko than there is in Kyoukai no Kanata.
In Kyoukai no Kanata, things are resolved through fights while in the other two, there's usually something deeper than that.

Not to mention the episodic nature. Except with monogatari it spans multiple episodes.

Except we see both the festival lanterns in the last part depicted as both having a regular color and a chartreuse light. Depression isn't also usually represented by such a "healthy" and "bright" color such as chartreuse.
