Monogatari isn't not a harem, but it's drastically different compared to your average harem. Most of the girls in the show just look up to Araragi, only Senjougahara and Hanekawa actually have romantic feelings for him. I guess there's Shinobu too but she's holding off until all of his friends die.

Sengoku hates him now, he's just close friends with Kanbaru, Mayoi is gone, Yotsugi isn't attracted to him, and his feelings for his sisters are one-sided.

i liked the series from a graphics design point of view

the pacing, cuts, well done backgrounds

decent story,it had a great colour pallet in general. The typefaces were cool, it somehow made the dialogue saturated show really interesting by playing with the visuals so well.

I was quite skeptical at first and dropped this show, but managed to pick it up again after a while and give it another try, disregarding all the fansirvice I think the show is quite artistic and shaft is definateley had fun making the series

I checked on the BBFC website, and it does look like that caused the 18 rating for episodes 1-4. 5-7 got a 15, but 8-11 got an 18 for incest references, among other things. The thing is, though, that the ratings are hopelessly inconsistent, and in general the distributors don't mind a higher rating because it makes the product seem more sophisticated.
