[HorribleSubs] Punch Line - 04 [720p].mkv
Time for more loli bot.
>It won't get good until episode 6
>it's still episode 4
see you in two weeks
Neet-chan is kill.
Dr. Rabura, I'm NSA
>MC has reset the world around 150 times by now.
>keeps failing to save the girls.
>despair grows more and more every time.
>finally gives up and in a fit of rage uses all of his despair to create his own universe
>Erases his own memories and tries to live life.
>The last 6 episodes revolve around figuring out who is the cake.
>He recognizes the song
So MC was white hair from the beginning of the episode?
I don't think we saw the side of his neck. Hard to tell what his eye color is with that lighting.
Also the other girl in the flashback is the other one that rescued the MC back in episode 1.
Actually, on second thought, the boy in the flashback is probably just this guy.
>when he's trying to shake her but his hands phase through her
I thought this was suppose to be about panties.
Eye shape and lashes are different, the other girls' eyes look more like MIkatan's.
I don't even know what this show is about.
It's like oh look Ito is on the dead listen we need to save her then its about needing Meika skills and now they're all flinging shit at each other.
MAPPA please you're losing me here despite all the delicious Rabura you're giving me.
With this man in charge you should have expected some shit to happen
Posting best ED of the season.
Jeez, do your research before you throw a fit and embarass yourself more, silly person on the internet.
I like the show, and thought this episode was good.
Does that mean I have shit taste?
>hey a fucking asteroid is gonna annihilate the entire human race and possibly all life on earth
>waaa you lied to my you hurt my feelings
Is this fucking bitch fucking retarded or fucking what?
This fucking show man, but one thing we all agree Strange Juice has the voice of an angel.
So with the pace at which things are progressing, it's safe to assume that it's going to be the 31st by episode 6, the bear has to go and the asteroid will hit earth right? And then we'll see where this show is actually going
The 1st half of episode 3 happened on 24th and the 2nd half happened on the 26th
There are supposedly a Christmas party held on the 25th according to the cat in episode 3 but it was never shown for some reason.
It's not about being top tier or not, being brown was one of the only thing she had going for her.
Now she's lightskin as fuck with horrible green hair, doesn't make it easier to look at her when her episode is already pretty meh.
Are you telling me they turned left into right??
How did MC not fucking realize Miyaken is his possessed body? He already saw Meika in his room on the video with himself after the whole incident at the pond with the bear stealer-san in episode 3 after Miyaken carried her away
GET IT HUEHUEHEU
This a serious question? One of the best. I can't wait until next season
>thought that this guy kinda looks like a gaijin
>turns out to be an NSA agent
I had the same thoughts so I searched for that similar song, and then I figured out they're similar just for few seconds
I hate things like this
Don't make Mikatan cry
The plans to build Meika.
We're going full time paradox in this bitch.
>Would have worked better if Rabura was brown.
But she is.
She came out in the movie last year
for about 2 minutes... Nah, but I feel your pain anon. Delicious brown is seriously lacking
Well sure, but the thing is anime watchers are usually less patient than vn readers, and animation is way more expensive. I'm not sure if this risk is going to be worth it.
Yeah, it's a bit sad.
>muh princess subplot
>avoid it for the whole season
>suddenly 10 minutes of it was nothing
>brown loli only the last episodes
Movie was excellent so no complaints even if we got very little brown loli.
moments that remind me of another song:
first few guitar chords
0:31 and forward
especially after 0:55 and on
then again at 1:11 and on
do you feel the same? which song is it?
There are a few anime series which goes straight into serious stuff in the 1st episode and some anime watchers especially Nips immediately hated the series because they are confused what is happening.
I guess no approach can pleased all anime watchers either way.
I'm enjoying Punchline more because I can feel we're going towards a definite and satisfying endgame. Makes me want to watch the next episode and pay attention to all the little details.
Can't say the same for Kekkai, the episodic content might be enjoyable, but 90% of the stuff just feels random or just there to look cool for a single scene.
>I can feel we're going towards a definite and satisfying endgame.
That's why I said up to this point, and sadly I guess you are right about Kekkai Sensen, but stuff looking cool just for the sake of looking cool isn't too bad once in a while.
This show is honestly trash so far. Every fucking episode just reveals more shit, and it all feels totally out of place because this very obviously should have been a game.
There's little to no mystery. Now we know MC goes back in time 24 years to send faxes to someone, which can only be one of 2 people, the Qmay group leader or the professor.
We're outright told that America are evil, and that the Qmay group hacked the satellite because they're planning on destroying the meteor.
Literally all that's left is explaining which kids are which from the shady research lab. It's beyond paint by numbers, unless there's a real bullshit twist that hasn't even been slightly alluded to.
12 episodes. But they're keeping the character count low, which helps a lot. Compared to say, VLR, we have only half the amount of characters to develop and integrate into the plot.
Well, in my case it was only a short melodic part between 0:57 to 1:01 (ED) and the song was
https://youtu.be/mxK3S4zNLtc?t=33, though the music genre is totally different. Yet it feels like I'm not convinced enough. There must exists a similar song, but I don't know which is it
>Meika sounds like Mecha
Goddamit, I'm slow, I just realized it
VLR had about 20 hours of dialogue. This has 6, at absolute best, if you cut out all the basic exposition and general animation you're left with less than 3.
It wouldn't matter if they had 2 characters, it'd be too many for an anime like this. Maybe one character, locked in a room with amnesia, for 12 episodes could work.
The problem is that the plot isn't building up. Uchikoshi is known for mysteries, but the lack of any casual dialogue means the allusions to later events are horribly glaring so anyone with half a braincell can put them together.
It's not that it isn't interesting, it's that it's incredibly obvious and weak.
>lack of any casual dialogue
some things are more hidden in background to make up for time, look around their rooms
usually if you cant stuff alot of dialogue, directors and writers tend to put stuff in the way people act or what they have in their rooms
I agree with the designs. The characters look memorable, no samefaces here. The setting design makes me want to be neighbors with all those cute girls. I just have problems with the PLOT, if only there weren't any of those.
What was with that drama near the end? All of a sudden everyone except Strange Juice acted cold and antagonistic toward each other. Maybe if tensions were build up from the previous episodes, but it just came so suddenly.
>killing best girl this early
Bull fucking shit she dies.
Women can't logically think when a situation is at hand. They are the type to become overly emotional over shit that doesn't matter and they don't apply any sort of logic to their actions.
Uchikoshi is like a 'light' version of urobuchi. He has no problem butchering everyone in bad ends. But atleast the true endings are more on the happy side than urobutcher's
I seriously hope the show will keep its comedy tone even after the tweest until the very end, so all /v/ faggots infesting these threads will finally get bored and leave.
This is /v/ tier/style shitposting
Their familiarity with Uchikoshi's work means that they're more likely to be interested and then shitpost.
Imagine if Kojima did a "Moeblob SoL" anime? There would be endless shitposting from /v/
You are a colossal dumbass if you honestly think /v/ only likes action packed anime and hates anime with comedy in it. Also most of /a/ don't even like this anime so fuck off with your delusions that anyone really gives a shit about this show to shitpost about.
>Nerds deserve to be bullied
The anti-bully ranger has saved the day!
Those last ten minutes what the fuck
Fuck Rabara what a cunt
Also I'm wondering why is nobody wondering about yuta does he not live in the house or some shit?
Do they just not like him or something just seems strange they are ignoring him.
KIMI NO PANTSU MITAI~
So where did that random salmon come from?
Yeah, I rechecked episode 1 after making that comment and realized the obvious.
If any case he seems to recognize either the song, or Mikatan as someone he used to know. Maybe the other girl is his sister, but that doesn't seem right, the sister should be around Rabura's age, not Mikatan's. Maybe he was also living in that facility, and he just wasn't in that flashback.
The other girl was one of the ones that pulled him out of the water episode 1. She is connected to all of this somehow.
>Go out of their way to make sure the audience knows she's a virgin and they can waifu her
>Make her a 3DPD piece of shit anyway
Rabura looked so different when she was a loli....
There's nothing wrong with the pacing. The issue is that every other sentence is "LOL CHECK OUT THIS TOTALLY THROWAWAY LINE THAT'S OBVIOUSLY GOING TO BE PIVOTAL".
In a VN, those lines are surrounded by a couple of hours of generic stuff and red herrings. Here, they don't have any time for that stuff.
Why does she wear the thing on her head?
Well the pacing issues is really more of the director to blame. Scriptwriters can write a lot of pages and pace can feel slow or write less lines and the pace can feels rushed.
Why is there a washing machine?
This episode was whatever, I hope they're saving money for better animation. Next episode looks way better though. Thank god this tutorial arc seem to be ending, I hope the cat will be less annoying when he's not dispensing Navi advice and he's just pure comedy relief.
Can't wait for everything in the preview to fill about two minutes of episode five and the entire rest of it to be more of what was in the last four episodes.
This. Yuuta just going to transfer to another timeline again.
I'd be fine with it because I've enjoyed every episode of this show, and I'd also enjoy watching people be asspained about it here like they are about every single episode.
>Episode 5 Ito dies
MC is either:
1. Going to possess Ito body.
2. Stare at a pair of panties, earth explodes, he tries to prevent Ito death
3. Ito dies, becomes a ghost.
*Assuming the title is a red herring.
Predictable as fuck, Punch Line had potential and the show is a lackluster, so I'm done. Dropped.
>See you next week
Nope. This is good bye.
This is what you get for kiling best girl.
No, this is definitely /a/ shitposting.
If you were around /v/ threads about Uchikoshi you'd know that they're by far the best threads in /v/, with almost no shitposting and usually some discussion about 999, VLR, E17 and R11, while crying about no ZE3.
While the shitposting here seems more to be out of not knowing how Uchikoshi's storytelling works, and complaining about the same things they complain about in any other anime.
Who will be the eye catch next week?
They already used the 4 girl MCs.
A cat is fine too I guess
Ito you fuckhead. You made Mikatan cry.
Worse girl now.
I wanted to hug her right then and there.
