The action looks good though, this show has had some talented animators handling a number of the action sequences so far. Sure the drawings are rough in some cuts, but it looks cool in motion.

Well, Eruna the main reason, but I enjoy the other characters too. The new loli is exceptionally adorable and cool, I hope we will get more of her.

For as much as people put down the shitty off model art (and yes, it does go extremely off model a lot) I feel like what's going unnoticed is that the direction of the fight scenes is purposely making them much more difficult to be animated. Instead of the standing "zoom to close up right as punch is thrown" we instead see it all zoomed out enough to where the full body needs to move in order to dodge.

It's honestly rather incredible considering the undoubtedly low-scale budget that this show has.

I think of it as kind of like a low-budget movie doing long one-shot fight scenes without any cuts. It's impressive, but it looks worse.

I can see how some people would say it looks worse. For me, I'd rather have ample animation that's off model at times than beautiful looking stills with standard animation-shortcut battles which are dime a dozen these days.

If anything I'm happy the staff went with that style here, as it really does go well with Eruna's endless genki. Tournament will be fun to watch.

The MC is a bit too hyperactive for Shaft-style time-wasting, probably.

Most of the fights, in terms of sticking on-model, look completely horrible, but the point of those scenes isn't to look at the faces. Close-ups and face shots tend to be animation shortcuts anyway, and I've already watched enough of Dragonball to not want any more of the "character shows focus on face and then the attack lands a few seconds later" thing.

Kind of reminds me of YZQ. It works well enough for me to not care too much. Eruna is carrying the show right now though, so hopefully we get to see just a bit more of everyone else.

You're not. Most of the characters are pretty interesting, particularly Seisa with her apparently brutal backstory. Eruna is great on her own, but it's her interactions with all these solid inviduals that really make her shine.
