I was that way about cute/sd lolis way back, figured it out ounce and managed to draw a couple, but eventually dropped the style altogether.
Right now I can emulate anything pretty okay, but I'm too fucking slow to finish almost anything.
Don't know exactly what you're trying to achieve, but maybe you can make use of your skills and draw something that looks both fairly anime-stylized and realistic enough?

I know it's tough, just try getting critiques from other faggots and studying shit like loomis. The important thing is to always try to seek improvement, people who are content with how their art looks stagnate.
Some, but it's simple enough that you can work it out with practice.
If you can't grasp heads and 3D spaces easily, draw simple 3D shapes and spaces. It'll help you gain understanding of volume and perspective.
