The setting is pretty captivating but I was rather disappointed with the strategist's debut episode.
Right from the first episode of LOGH Yang was forced to take over an entire fleet, retreated tens of thousands of men to safety and bull whipped a planet's worth of space nazis while doing it.
By comparison, Narsus' backstory keikaku seemed really mundane.

Arslan is still hype for them sword fights, though.
