I am watching this and while it is way too girly and cutesy for me you have to admit that the episodes are way better written than your average anime.

I've been hibikeeping it real with Hibikeep UFOnium.

I started watching this last week, after finally reaching it in my backlog.

The artstyle, character designs, and color palate are really nice, and the first two episodes are strong. The humor with the rests is fun too.

I heard it didn't do so well sale wise, though. Why's that?

Because Episodes 1, 2, 7 and 8 are the only episodes worth going back to. The ending was fucked, and the rest was stupid girls doing stupid things.

Sure, there's untapped potential in incompetent MCs, but there is a limit. Also, one reveal for every 5 episodes is fine, if the plot isn't fucking nothing.

I enjoyed it intermittently. Smear frames are my fetish.

That's disappointing. I feel like it has some potential, if they didn't fuck it up.

At the very least, I would've liked some sculpts or figs from the show, but I guess it didn't do well enough at all. Do we know what the ending sales numbers were?

Nozomi's outfit should look a lot more like thrown-together biker wear than Senjougahara. I guess her hair does have a purplish tinge to it, but I've always thought of it as more auburn. And probably dusty from the road.

I actually watched all the original Battles without Honor and Humanity movies because of the references in the Hiroshima arc. Finished the last one today. I have a thing for Hiroshima dialect now.

That's no surprise; I give Shirobako a genuine 9/10, or at least 8.5/10. Legendary show if you ask me. Will probably be a "hidden gem" in the future since the genre probably limits the popularity somewhat.
