IT´S BEEN 14 YEARS SINCE THIS, NASU WHAT THE FUCK
Nasu wanted to wait till he was a batter writer before attempting to construct a route suitable for such a perfect girl.
>not becoming a Dead Apostle to wait eternally for the Tsukihime Remake
>IT´S BEEN 14 YEARS SINCE THIS, NASU WHAT THE FUCK
Fate sells merchandise and licenses. That's where the big money is made. Tsukihime doesn't have any real gimmicks or variety of iconic historic characters for drawing buyers compared to Fate.
Picture: King Arthur and unknown miscellaneous generic vampire girl
Vlad III could kill every other dead apostle ancestor at once, not counting ORT or elementals obviously. Discuss.
> unknown miscellaneous generic vampire girl
I also heard he raped 5 vampire girls terrorizing northern Europe for some reason before cutting them up into 17 pieces. Who is this Mysterious death god?
I gave up on the VN a few years ago because I couldn't stand the fact that it had no auto-read function. Is there some sort of hack to add something like that in? Or are there any news on the remake?
>Nasu isn't involved
I know, that's exactly why I want it.
Well, no, the actual reason I want it is Teikoku Shounen's scenery porn(even if I have no idea if he's still involved). But still.
Don't get me wrong, I read pretty fast, definitely faster than the time it takes for the VAs to speak their line. I just hate clicking over and over again, I feel it gives me carpal tunnel syndrome or something. Also the fact that I'd rather play it on my desktop across the room while I lay in bed.
If you have an android tablet you can play both Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya on it
I've given up on the remake I just want a new Melty Blood. Supposedly French Bread wants to make a new Melty Blood but Nasu is stopping them so it can conform to the character designs of the remake which he has no intention of releasing. Fucking hell.
Melty Blood designs are the best thing Takeuchi has ever drawn
I'd say it's quite easily the weakest out of Type-Moon VNs. The action is amazing thanks to the prodigious production values, but there's not much of it and the plot feels really small scale, like an introductory chapter. The SoL is also very hit-or-miss, as usual by Nasu. Example of bad: There's a long-ass scene where Soujuurou discusses real life bird facts with Kojika. Example of good: Soujuurou's first meeting with Alice's bird familiar, who is insanely jealous Alice keeps looking at Soujuurou and tries to make Soujuurou believe she's out to assassinate him.
All-in-all it's decent but not enough, especially after how long people were hyped for it. I'd also like to mention that Soujuurou is way more entertaining in comedy than Shiki and Shirou.
I think Nasu just threw out the trilogy thing to make up for the fact that Mahoyo didn't really live up to the expectations. He knows that with his pace he'll die of old age before the release date of Mahoyo 2.
I know that it's wishful thinking, but I think that a Melty Blood release in the west would do actually well, since the game mechanics look deep enough. From what I've seen it's not only fanservice.
But hey, I played only a little of it, so I'm talking out of my ass.
It is, hence I'm waiting for the sequels. Only problem is with Nasu's pace and easily distracted mind, they might be as far as 10 years from now. Didn't he recently say he wanted to do more Fate/Extra stuff?
>Arihiko tells his 'seen some shit' story
>Hints that Sacchin's might actually be worse
Why is being Sacchin such suffering?
>From what I've seen it's not only fanservice.
It's a top-tier fighting game from my little experience. The lack of any updates in years have killed any interest or improvement in it though, but i'm pretty sure a well made new release would be very popular.
The real problem is that i'm not sure how much longer MB will manage to stay out of the way of Fate (and that's part of what makes it good).
Adding Fate stuff into it would probably make it sell more, but likely ruin it. For the sheer amount of character they'd end up adding and not be able to handle, first of all.
Why be Super when you can be Ultimate?
Will Nasu ever write another character that can touch the hearts of millions like Saber ever again, or did he peak at F/SN?
You will never again see anything other than Fate out of Typemoon. Ever. Just accept it.
Fate as a franchise in an ingenious mechanism for skimping on work because the hardest part of writing a book - the actual plot, is already done and can be re-used an inifinite number of times: "Historical figures beat each other up for the holy grail" and the character subplots are fanfictions and re imaginings of historical stories and myths which already exist.
Thrice the profit with half the work.
Why would they EVER want to deviate from this?
He managed it with Fate/Extra CCC.
If it were translated, you'd see dozens of people in these threads touting B.B. or Blossom as their waifu.
A fighting game lives on how balanced it is when comes down to long-lasting popularity or presence in tournaments.
The more characters in it, the harder it is.
And you know how many of them Fate franchise would pump in the game, especially when Fate fans are so easy to milk.
In the end the most likely result would be having a best seller carried by fanservice (as playing with your favourite characters) but a poor game when the hype dies down.
is this one of the smuggest 2D grill faces ever?
Like, there's a bunch that are more overtly smug-looking but I feel like you can see just how fucking stupid saber thinks you really are, deep in her eyes.
It's the head that bothers me. She looks like Takeuchi drew too much Saber and got stuck on her design, so when he tried to draw an Arc it came out as a weird mixture of the two.
Is sex appeal really the only thing going for aoko? Is her character interesting in the slightest?
>it won't have ero scenes
>you will never hear a high quality version of track 05 aka the greatest T-M BGM of all time
End this pain.
Track 05 is so good it made me actually read Nasu's H-scenes in Tsukihime and Kagetsu Tohya.
Ironically it made me harder than any of the F/SN H-scenes.
Only if I can edit the game files for F/SN so I can replace the H-scene music with Track05.
There are even more mainstream companies that still make eroge and all ages games regardless of their popularity, not to mention Tsukihime is a garanteed R-18 even if it has H-scenes or not.
Also they still have the eroge for F/SN still in print you know.
I also think they re-released the eroge with voices a couple years back.
>lost the huge eyelashes, which Saber also lacks
>almost completely lost the lopsided air went, which Saber also lacks
>hair got less sharp on top, just like Saber
>face got younger and resembles more Saber (more of a problem with modern Takeuchi than design though)
You can whiteknight Takeuchi all you want, but it's an objective fact that new Arc lacks a lot of the stuff that made her stand out, be it in a good or bad way.
