KLK was shit and I guess it's nice that we all realize that now.
Trigger is a failure of a studio.
TTGL was better.
>Trigger is a failure of a studio
looks like you haven't seen
>Trigger is a failure of a studio.
Inferno Cop was a masterpiece.
>you will never get tied up and dominated by her
Best to worst things done by studio Trigger and or Directed by Imaishi (basically the same thing)
Panty and Stocking
- Memeanime line -
- Unironically bad anime line -
Kill la Kill
Consensus: Imaishi became noticeably shittier when he co-founded Trigger and was much better when he worked for Gainax.
Suck it KLKfags, the animation was bad and the show was bad.
What do you mean now? /a/ caught on back when it first aired. They were even jeering at the concept art before it aired. It's more like /a/ never actually realized anything, they made up their minds and happened to be right by sheer coincidence.
Another shitty Axe Cop/Aqua Teen reskin is objectively bad, especially when it's a parody of something as good as Ninja Slayer.
They took the money and ran like two years ago dude.
>it take 2 years to make a 45 minute anime with $150,000
Kill la Kill was cool. You're just being sour.
I understand, But you can be outside of the target audience and still like something. For example, I'm 19 years old and I like Yu-Gi-Oh! and Precure, even though the target audience for both shows is 10 years younger than me. But I don't care. I still like them
>/a/ hypes up something new based on "credentials" or whatever and sets unreasonable expectations
>things invariably turn out worse than expected in reality, hivemind 180's and overshits on anything.
That's quite alright.
No-one expects them to go all out and squander all their money again like they did with Inferno Cop.
Yeah TTGL was better.
TTGL was amazing.
KLK wasn't the greatest show ever, but it was arguably in the top 90% of anime this decade. (not hard with all the generic shit)
It's not the best show but it has the best girls.
The more daddy issues, the more clingy she will be.
>KLK was shit
Actually it was pretty good, it was "shit" the same way TTGL was shit; the ending was terrible and everything after the timeskip was underwhelming and disappointing, but the show overall was way, way better than the average anime in their respective years.
I don't know why people are losing their shit over a literal Inferno Cop spiritual sequel that nobody expected anything of. If you DIDN'T think it was going to be like this you're an idiot. I mean, I expected more "comic-book-panel stills" than actual Inferno Cop animation, but the level of cheapness is right where I thought it would be.
LWA2 is going to be amazing.
