>a light novel series is actually selling well in the US
Is this going to be the new SAO?
I guess the whole escape to an RPG world thing hasn't been overdone in the US yet.
I saw this at Barnes and nobles the other day. Why was it in the manga section? Light novels dont have nearly that many pictures.
It 's been localized here even since before the anime was announced. It's really strange how such a random series like it got localized anyway. Someone must've been a fan or something.
The whole shitstorm of the anime and Hestia now has its popularity skyrocketing.
Oh god now I'm tempted to pick up a bunch of series from Yen press thanks to the fact the anime for them never covered all the material and probablly never will at this rate like with Index
>SAO is really popular
>LNs with a similar theme start getting localized
It's not that hard to figure out. You can bet if there were LNs about edgy teens fighting giants those would quickly get localized too.
>Is this going to be the new SAO?
Nah that'd be too difficult. The only reason to legitimately hate the show is if you don't like Hestia because it really isn't that awful. It is hard to ground shitting on the show because of a single character.
It was painful to read. 9th grade level writing, and I'm talking American schools here. So I reckon I'm gunshy about translation flubs when the medium itself is being translated

>holy shit they still have brick&mortar stores???
As the last surviving chain with physical stores, they'll probably be around for a long time more, unless they're completely incompetent.
