If Touma had saved Frenda, she would have been unable to understand what she was feeling at first. Her work would suffer because she'd be thinking about Touma. Then she'd find herself scoping out his house, making sure he was alright. She'd wonder where he went during his long trips outside of the city. Then when she'd learn he's back, she'd feel so happy that tears would slide down her cheeks. And whenever he was in the hospital, she'd be sending him flowers. Every. Day. She would be worried sick about him and she'd be angry with herself over it.

Why the hell would she care about this guy? This punk who goes around selflessly trying to help people. He doesn't start fights, but he gets himself involved for no reason other than to defend someone who needs defending. She'd call him an idiot. And in those moments where she's lying in her bed, cuddling a stuffed animal and stroking its head, without warning, she would say 'Touma~'. Then she'd jump up and throw the animal at the wall. She would be hopelessly confused. Her stomach would feel like it's tied in a knot and there's a heavy weight on her shoulders.

She'd pick the stuffed animal back up off the floor and hug it tight. She'd feel a slight sense of relief as she closed her eyes and said 'Touma~' again. Getting back into bed, Frenda would start to feel better. Waking up the next morning, she'd find Saiai standing next to her bed and she'd tell her 'You were moaning 'Touma~, Touuuma~, Tou-mah-kuun~' in your sleep. He must be a super interesting guy.'

Frenda throw a bear at Saiai's face but she'd know. They both would. And then Saiai would leave so Frenda could get dressed. And as Frenda is sitting in her bed, looking at the stuffed animal, she thinks about Touma again and smiles. Then...
