So /a/nts, what did you think of the manga Blame? I thought it was a really unique manga that stood out to me a lot. It was a really amazing read, and I really hope it gets an anime since Sidonia no Kishi got one.
It won't get an anime, it doesn't have the same type of merchandising opportunity Sidonia had and if it was getting one it would have been announced alongside the new print.
Its a really good journey, but I won't reread it again till someone scans those new reprints. The scans available are awful.
Stuff happens before the story starts. Killy is trying to shut down the producting/expansion of the City by finding net terminal genes to access some. There are sects of humans and killer shit across, the only reoccuring one was the one trying to kill humans without the net terminal genes who are long past their original reason for existing.
I almost assumed you were shitposting but then I decided to take it as a joke.
I read it every night as I fall asleep. It's the only manga I've ever re-read and I've done it about 10 times now and it just gets better with each consecutive reading.
I love me some Nihei threads but they tend to always turn into Sidonia threads. I wanna know everyone's favorite Nihei waifu, thats not in Sidonia .
edgy - at the forefront of a trend; experimental or avant-garde.
I would definitely say that fits BLAME! The actual definition of edgy not the shit people throw around on here like how /v/ uses hipster.
>It really is the perfect fit for an anime.
There is hardly any dialog for the first half of the series and there would be entire episodes of Killy just wandering around. I love Blame! but it would make a really shitty anime.
Threadly reminder that Papa Nihei did this book so that his daughter will notice her father's works instead of following the artist's that are fans of Nihei works.
The girl with the wasp mask in Biomega is cute.
Assuming they speed up the walking around BLAME! does have a lot of action and would be nice to watch. Completely correct about the dialogue though it's mostly a visual story.
I think it would be fantastic if they got a writer who can do monologues well.
Though I guess Killy doesn't actually think all that much.
Wonder what you could really do to make it an interesting watch.
BLAME remind me of those animated anime shorts in Liquid Television, there was little to no plot, characterization, or dialogue, but stuff happened, and yet it was still cool despite it all.
>Wonder what you could really do to make it an interesting watch.
Tons of time skips or they could just start the anime with his ride to the Capitol. Once Cibo shows up things get a bit more talkative and the action really picks up.
Don't be ignorant.
Are you saying there are only dialogue heavy anime?
That dialogue is an essential part of the medium?
Why does Blame work even though it doesn't have a lot of dialogue? You should have said something along the lines of
>It would probably be unpopular
This can work if someone with an actual brain is the director. Not every show needs to have a lot of dialogue or exposition.
She and Ivy deserve their own spinoff. The entirety of Silicon Life deserve their own series.
Greatest love story ever told.
I always the Bioelectric Corp. President's enforcer was extremely sexy. I want to kiss that label on the inside of her thigh.
Do cyborgs even have vaginas?
People in different parts of the City evolved differently. This chick thought Killy was a kid and the Fishermen from Toha Heavy Ind. were amazed by how tall Cibo was.
My boner could pierce the Megastructure.
