Rumiko Takahashi thread
Will we ever get new or rehashed ranma material?
Is the new rumiko show worth watching?
Ranma 1/2 is the last thing Rumiko made that was ever worth watching. I watched the entirety of Inuyasha and the Final Act too. I don't know which show she has now, but I'm going to say no.
Should I rewatche ranma for the 5th time, watch inuyasha or rewatch
Why is thick Ranma so best?
She's truly the best girl
I guess I'm gonna read them again soon, thanks.
>Ukyo better than Shampoo
You need to get your head in the game - 'realistic girl' crossdressing for a decade to chase after a guy? She's as insane as the rest, she just hides it better.
Where can i get ukyo related merchandise?
I need more ukyo
It does my heart good to know there are so many fans of this series, still.
Wow lum is cute in that.
I agree with you, best girl of her series.
Replying to comment from last thread to clear up a point of fanon bullshit.
> He'll stay in a shitty dojo most of the day teaching a bunch of suburban normals that will never even get close to his level of mastery and skill.
Actually, the dojo was probably half the reason he gave a shit about Akane. Look at how proud Ranma was of being the heir to his family school, of course he'd want to continue it. In the life of a martial artist, there comes a time when you can only improve by teaching others less skilled than yourself. Ranma probably won't hit that point for ten or twenty years given the lolsorandom rules of his universe, but eventually the well of secret techniques runs dry and you have to start from the beginning again, improving what you already know by teaching it. Had Cologne offered him a similar future but with students closer to Shampoo in potential, he'd probably be on the first boat back to China with them.
I quite like your thinking, that sounds wonderful.
I thought I was the only one that liked the OP.
I really liked the ED too.
As it stands, I like it as much as Ranma right now. The comedy is greatly subdued,, but I like the atmosphere and some of the characters better. Sakura is pretty much the antithesis to Akane. I hope the cat thing doesn't turn out to be shitty. Narrator adds a lot to how good it is too.
The German dub is pretty good. Or maybe its just because I saw it first when I was like 8.
I've never seen episode 80+ but I'm gonna watch everything in Japanese now. Episode 80+ were never dubbed in Germany
I don't think Gemma was on Ranma. Did you mean Genma?
Why aren't Godai and Kyoko (Maison Ikkoku), Kosaku and Angela (One Pound Gospel), nor anyone from the Mermaid duology, Rin-ne, Laughing Target, Maris the Chojo, Fire Tripper, Rumic World, or Rumic Theater in the pic?
>Everything else you listed no one cares about unfortunately
Maison Ikkoku seemed to be pretty big too, although it's a completely closed story that got adapted to the end, so I guess there was never much demand for more material.
Godai and Kyoko make a small cameo at the end of the Urusei Yatsura OVA though.
That was a fun OVA.
Why are you on /a/ at all then?
They won't. At best we'll get an OVA series that handles all the missing arcs from the manga. They won't have the authority to alter the not-ending.
I think so
I don't see it bro, she just looks like his cute little sister.
I don't see it bro, she has fangs . Maybe that is why.
They don't need a redo. They should just pick up where the last season left off back in 2000.
That live action version was actually good
The first half of it anyways, dunno what the fuck was up with the second half.
And the best boys are girls
I was just about to say I can't remember it ending so few years ago. Then I remembered that 2000 is 15 years ago
There are still good ships being build today
