What music piece you want to see them perform in the show?
Live concert versions of the OP and ED
Ponytail is the best.
As you see a situation in a picture:
The girls cant afford good instruments, so to earn cash, they restrain, pack in the transport box, and sell Kumiko to crime syndicate. Wethere she was later used to work in brothel or just to harvest organs, is not know.
Let's discuss the miracles of the universe.
Here's to hoping she'll wear it again.
Everyone in this show is fantastic, for my dick.
Agreed. This especially.
This lad gets it.
I want them to blow me.
>That woman is really sexually frustrated. I wonder how the show would turn out if MC was a boy.
>I want to help her with her physiological needs after a hard day of work
But anon, she is married. Are you into NTR?
I enjoy teachers. By virtue of being a teacher, you're already hot.
Bonus points for the strict hard arse ones.
>qt anime girls on stage shifting around and awkwardly averting their gazes as they struggle to sit motionless and continue the uninterrupted silence of their performance
... I see your point, anon.
>expecting anything but cute fuwa fuwa girls doing cute things
You're the only one at fault here, but they're doing a damn good job of what they do, so just enjoy the ride
Kumiko's great, love her.
I bet she loves anal too.
>To what, a plant in her apartment?
Someone had put a ring on her >>123870073
I assumed she got dicked at some point. But there is always a chance she hadn't done it in a while, especially if it is quite a few years after marriage already.
>Isn't she meant to be really old? Her hair makes her look about 50.
Japanese wiki said that she had been working as a teacher since the 1950's. So yeah, by anime standards she is almost ancient. But thanks to both being 2D, and her Asian genes, she wouldn't really age any further for another decade or two.
In fact now that I think about it, there is no way she was a teacher in the 50's in the anime. That is TOO old for what we got. Those tits don't look 70 years old. She must be younger than that, changed from the original.
>Japanese wiki said that she had been working as a teacher since the 1950's
That would make her, at the youngest something like 77 (starting in 1959 at the age of 22), no way man.
>That would make her, at the youngest something like 77 (starting in 1959 at the age of 22), no way man.
I agree, as I corrected myself. We don't even have an excuse of the novel being old because the book was published in 2013.
So KyoAni actually DID make her younger, I was wondering why they went and make the teacher look a it old. But the truth is she was extremely old originally and they "fixed" her for better or worse.
If we look at Hyouka for reference, she *might* be early 60’s in the anime.
Compared to other kyoani shows will this produce more porn than anything short of K-On?
The laws of the anime world dictate all women age like this:
cute baby>loli>bishoujo>suddenly milf>suddenly wrinkled old lady
Regular middle aged women or mid twenties women just don't seem to exist.
She probably never had a character design in the book and won't have a backstory in the anime so I probably won't matter.
>She probably never had a character design in the book and won't have a backstory in the anime so I probably won't matter.
Well at least now we can shut up those who complained that she isn't a Christmas Cake. We can tell those guys that at least she is still edible.
Most likable MC in quite a while - she actually has a range of emotions, is quite down to earth and has a great VA. Probably going to be AOTS for me already.
If it's Asanagi
>"sadly your mouth shape is not good for becoming a good musician, but it's perfect to blow men!"
>MC blows men for a living in the end as she wished in the begining
Top girl. Would
> grasses fetish
KyoAni loves them gaussian blurs
Any classical or Jazz and It'll be fucking awesome.
>I hope they don't have any fucking chuu2 delusions. Eighth grade syndrome a fucking shit.
All I want to know is, what can we expect in the doujins?
It's meant to look like it's taken with telephoto lens.
I'm not too fond of it because the scene doesn't look natural anymore. It's good when it's used to draw focus to certain characters or scenes but Kyoani overuses it as much as JJ Abrams overuses optical flares.
>can do everything every other instrument can better
>piano can glissando
>piano can use vibrato
>piano can crescendo on a sustained note
Piano a great anon, but don't say things you can't take back.
That's not CR.
It's a combination of DoF, vignette and a bit of bokeh.
You won't ever notice CR in an image that size unless the photographer deliberately add it in photoshop.
Holy fucking shit, this genki girl is really adorable, especially her voice.
Also, Emerald should really stop pointing at every person that responds to her.
please do not sexualize Kumiko
Is this going to get good?
I watched the first episode expecting K-On with Goose House and big band.
It doesn't have comedy, the blonde chick has an annoying VA, the plot isn't gripping and the only thing outstanding about it is cute hair.
You'd think so, but it really isn't the case for majority of anime
It's like there is some implicit understanding between the creators and viewers that they'll be watching more than the first episode
It's very different from western television
Watch a real playing in a live performance.
As for her, I can say so
Studio fucking Gokumi manages to have a sweet jazz pop ED on a show about blonde hair and yet Kyoanus can't be bothered to do one
And yet she's unique compared to 9/10 of main characters.
At least until the forced drama, misunderstandings and friendship speeches roll in.
Don't talk to me, ugly
I know it won't happen.
he only talks to girls with megane
club prez needs to watch out for that testicle titan
Why is he so delicious?
Would love to see the trumpet girl go all out with some jazzy stuff.
Kinda like this:
Or is the focus of the show more on classical music?
I picked my trumpet back up again thanks to this show
Its really interesting to see how many people picked up old stuff they stopped using because of this show. I picked up my old baby after almost 30 years of not using her. She's unfortunately a lot rustier than she was back then, but it's not like I mind much. Still makes a quality sound after applying some lubricant. I'm sure it'll be a short phase since she's so old and I have younger models now, but I gotta say, it feels really great playing
I guess it depends, are they a faggy wannabe big band? then have someone show them something classic, popular, and sexual enough to have them fuck like rabbits during summer camp.
Are they failures at classical music? teach them dvorak and make them cry with their newly discovered souls
>TFW not enough winds
>TFW too many people in the band are just there to fuck around
>TFW none of the pieces written for brass are worth listening to
>TFW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vEUD3sRgLD0 never
>TFW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pPdeKYnGVI never
>TFW https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yUyBUlcaFKE never
What's the point?
Of course I can. It's their problem if they're unwilling to practice, and I know first hand that they wouldn't sound like shit if they did practice. Most amateur orchestras and bands lack the dedication and discipline; just passion won't get the, anywhere.
I understand if you don't like dudamel's antics (I personally don't care about them) but shit? it's well conducted and played, pretty standard for the 4th movement, maybe you like it tamer?.
I'm surprised that his voice is not 'kakkoii' at all
The average /mu/fag doesn't give enough shits about jazz, much less woodwinds, to shitpost here.
The people there who do care will probably know more than the average anon who listens to anime soundtracks.
Well, maybe not all childhood friends. At least Mochizou was endearing.
Well, post something you like, I wonder what is it.
I'm more of a baroque kind of guy, but as long as anything is interesting enough musically I'm up for it, so from avant garde shit or simple harpsichord pieces I'm up for it.
That's only fair: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AymP3a1MJT8
I tried to find some brass pieces but I couldn't find any that would warrant me posting it here.
I don't get how anyone can get competitive about something where your victory depends on 20 other people on your band, and unlike in team sports you can't even make up for them being bad.
Piano is the least necessary addition to any ensemble, and by themselves they sound like shit. There're literally no redeeming qualities.
>I'd pick up something as lowly as brass
Good choices, sadly highschool bands, especially this one, favour brass/winds and higher tempo/upbeat music so we'll get only things like that, most likely (if at all, maybe the anime will end up just being drama and zero music).
>drama and zero music
I am fear
Piano, like guitar, is one of those instruments that is fine by themselves thanks to range and the ability to play rythm/bass accompanying the melody with the same instrument.
Hence they are popular for solo work or as central to many.
Kyoanus has to know that the music was a good part of K-On, so I don't know why they wouldn't include it in season 3
>music was a good part of K-On
k-on had so little music (besides the bgm) that the anime ended being more about eating cakes than music. Granted it was pretty realistic in that regard, high school bands are very much like that.
yeah sadly kon was a let down in this regard, but I have a feeling hibike will have more. fluffy chan is actually inwardly very concerned to succeed. wile most of the kons didn't care one way or the other.
plus it's not like this is a 4 person club, this club is huge and you can't rightfully be fucking around so much
I don't particularly agree that all high school orchestras would do this, though bands most likely do. For a small orchestra ensemble in high school that's worth their salt they'd have no problem dealing with heavier stuff by Bach or Vivaldi.
Really it just comes down to the level of the players. And since we now know that the band in the show sucks ass we can be rest assured that they'll never play anything monumental.
Do even musicians want that? I think music will definitely be more prominent here but like, it's still going to be mostly interpersonal, not actually a series of performances. It doesn't make sense to stuff it full of music being played.
I don't see how the episode being liveaction would make it any more or less interesting than it being animated.
I don't mean just 13 episodes of animated music videos. A show about practicing, getting a band together, writing your first songs, fucking up a gig, that would be fun. Love Live did a lot of that.
GA isn't just about the technicalities. What it exceeds was storytelling; every characters are well fleshed out and their interaction with each other is very enjoyable. The author decided to focus more on what they do in art classes since they are in an arts school, and this sets the stage for more stories.
K-On is different. It's literally just a bunch of girls banding together to half-ass some shows. The characters from K-On are no where near as deep as those from GA. So even if they did try to focus more on the shit music they play I seriously doubt it'd end up "like GA".
Maybe some uplifting working stories like Shirobako is not your thing?
I personally find them pretty enjoyable if the author actually knows a lot about that job and can offer some basic storytelling.
>love big band swing
>love classical music and orchestra
This show is a fucking godsend. Used to play in a wind ensemble too in high school. Played the flute.
quit because friends told me it was gay ;_;
But I digress, hope for a ton of shit
She does seem to have a bit of a quirk where she can't stop talking out loud and coming across as insensensitive. Maybe that's why she was talking to a cactus to better practice empathy with others.
Well, you are blowing a phallic object, so I understand where they were coming from, but you ended up on /a/ later on so you were obviously gay to begin with. Might as well have kept on playing.
That's still about working life though.
And since they had a lot of irl people to base their charachers on, and they knew the industry more than anything else. It was pretty enjoyable.
I had been meaning to place how I though of her in the ponytail and you said it for me. She does look like a BG character. Not that thats a bad thing but it's pretty interesting.
It's a bit tough, especially for topics that are relatively esoteric. Even if the author knows a lot about the subject, they'd need to dumb it down so that it'd appeal to a wider audience. Mathematical Girls is an example, where his second volume dumbed down Peano arithmetic so much so that laymen can understand, but it became no longer rigorous.
Won't beat MC but she sure is cute.
I want to bend her over the table and take her.
I hope these two will be banter buddies.
>One black guy in my 6th grade band class
>Played flute, was the only guy out of 11 girls who played flute
>A little bit chub, but all the girls were over his dick cause he played the flute
>He dropped it the following year to play the bass and faded into irrelevancy cause there was another black kid who played bass and was way better at it
>tfw I haven't watched that movie since it came out
>even though I own it
A most terrible realisation.
Fluffy sex hair sensei who's gonna be the club advisor.
Thats not how you spell Opal-chan
Sapphires come in several colors, actually.
It's a great piece, but that solo's been ruined for me for a while
because of how often I had to play it in college.Something like October by Eric Whitacre would be great in this I think.
I love how she reacts to things by just staring at people. Normally we'd have a tsukkomi moment or something but Kumiko is just like, whatever.
