Show me what you've got.
>Your pure wife from the future comes to help you through a tough time in your life
There's the good way of telling this story, which is to make it about a struggle of self-validation and living up to a goal, and then there's the cheap way, which is to fill every page with PLOT and fanservice.
To this manga's credit, it actually does have traces of the good way, but still feels sort of like wasted potential.
its only for like a page and its literally nothing

Way to make a consensus you retarded fuck.
but yeah, /a/'s taste is pretty shit. The majority of OPT's are haremshit and moeshit.
Thanks to everyone that recommend this yesterday, it's SUPER INTERESTING
>'4chan - the manga.png'
>Not pic related
See, this is one of those rare circumstances where insulting a poster for not finding the source is reasonable and even recommended. Not when they fail to follow a trail through eight languages and four search engines to find the source, when they ask for source despite it being in the fileneame.
Why are manga page layouts so much better than capeshit layouts? It's fukken sad. Look at this. This is "The Killing Joke" and is considered a comic classic. 95% of the comic is a page layout just like this. It's absolutely horrible even though the story is great. It's a tragedy on paper.
I would honestly rather have that than shit like this. I can't even figure out whats going on with this shitty layout.
Are you kidding me? It's a great layout, pretty standard stuff. First panel sets the location with a cut-in to the city. The second panel group on the top left is great because it gives the feeling of a the store being a background for the character art but also that "background is focusing on key points in the scene. And while it's doing all that, it also smoothly transitions into the lower panels showing the doll and moving the focus to the support character.
It's visually dynamic, has good transitions to set the pace of the scene and uses enough whitespace to avoid cluttering the page. It's a solid layout and much better than most Marvel/DC comics.
Probably has something to do with the comic code crippling the comic industry in the U.S., and perhaps the fact that Tezuka was very much willing to play around with layouts.
>post old comic
>bitch about how lame the art style is
He was complaining about the layout, not the art per se.
IIRC, Bill Watterson used to complain about how newspaper comics weren't allowed to use nonstandard layouts (especially including the large Sunday strips) that used to be fairly commonplace in comics from the early 20th century (such as Krazy Kat). So older comics may well have had more variety in their layouts.
not better, but the style is more creative
Did you ever try flapping through that comic quickly? Ya' know with your thumb against the open end and going brllllllllllrrr?
>I'd expect no less from a guy defending capes comics.
stay mad bro, super hero comics are now capeless, can say this for manga
Why? Just why does google search NEVER work for me? This is such fucking garbage, I restrain myself and never ask for the source but I can't EVER find the source with google search jesus fuck. Is there any way to make google search work any better?
Yandex, archives, etc.
If you get Asian results, google translate.
Op pic was already given; read the thread before you ask.
Man it's been almost half a year of looking but I picked up a manga from one of these threads and my hard drive got fucked.
I can't remember it at all, could anyone help?
It was one of the school-with-super-powers plots and had a big ass delinquent guy get turned into a loli and I remember one of the students at the school being executed by being chopped from the feet up because he killed another student which was a set up by the student council.
I don't want to read it that badly but it's been playing at my mind like fuck all else lately and I won't feel satisfied until I find it again.
Rule 34 means never having to not have H.
I didn't remember that one being in color.
I tried that. When will you guys realize that google image searches are based on user activity and varies heavily for everyone?
>post pages to get people interested in manga thread
>but everyone scrambles the filename
>acts elitist and won't sources
And you wonder why these threads are always dead and with no discussion. Great job on making /a/ a worse place, dumbass.
That's the way it has always been newfag. If you don't like it then take your crumb-bum attitude and go to /v/.
Sentou Hakai Gakuen Dangerous
>post pages to get people interested in manga thread
That's where you're wrong. I post pages to make filename jokes.
Started scanning Garo, if anyone wants to help with either translation or editing.
Different anon, but I was able to find it. You gotta open the image and paste the url for the picture into reverse image search manually.
Really makes you wonder what the point of the inline extension's built in image search function is good for, though.
>That's the way it has always been newfag.
Different anon here. That's not true. There was once a time when we actually just made things accessible for the sake of actually having a discussion. 4chan was still obscure enough that we didn't have to put up a fence to keep out new visitors.
Hell, there was even a time when we used to discuss anime on /b/ and while the board was still titled "Anime/Random". Moot's last wish for us to be nicer to each other. I don't think it could hurt.
>calling others newfags
>telling them to go back to /v/
Japanese censorship law is retarded.
All black bars should be removed. They are arts.
Tsugumono but I'm probably not spelling it right. Are you serious though? It's posted about 5 times in every OPT and there's plenty of threads specifically about it too. You don't lurk enough.
...How can you not immediately tell?
I didn't know this thread was NTR Edition
Also, does anyone remember the chapter the placebo affect was in?
What reason do any of us have to believe that you actually have good taste?
Also, don't read this unless you've actually read the series already; it's a legit spoiler.
Absolutely no idea. I think it's easier to look for the manga than the doujin.
basically the MC is some faggot that gets bullied at school and then he meets some chick that wants to be a police girl and MC gets pulled into the police world or some sorts.
Holy shit, whats the appeal on NTR? I literally got headache searching for that page. Judging from comments that guy is a liitle bitch and deserved it, but jeezus... thanks god for tag flagging perk http://exhentai.org/g/452770/c1c6e0cedb/?p=2
this is suffering since they take so long to come up with updates.
One day, she'll wake up and realize that somehow, she's the world's most powerful person and have an empire kneeling before her. And she wouldn't even know how the hell it all happened or when everything started spiraling out of control.
>superior bar-tendering skills
>tons of network and connections to a bunch of execs of large companies
>friends with espers
>acquainted with yakuza
>operator & military skills
Is there no end to her rise in power?
Is this some kind of ruse?
Nah I just posted the wrong fucking page like 2 times
You know, i don't use it here, but from the looks of it a lot of people here do.
While they might be fine for most series, it seems that when it comes to crunchyroll and mangabox series they're uploading complete garbage.
>One would guess they have an instructions guide somewhere on their site.
And everything on their site suggests that you need to use facebook to get in contact with them, that's why i asked here.
god damnit, what artist is this
it's on the tip of my tongue, but google is giving me nothing
It's good. It's not rage fuel or melodrama, the MC gives you mixed feelings because you don't know whether to feel sorry for how emotionally messed up he is or to find it funny; the way the manga presents it and the situations it puts him in are like that. He doesn't mope either, his momolouges are short and pretty much just him being a cold, lonely dude mildly annoyed by pretty much everyone around him. There is some drama, of course, but I'm particularly sensitive to drama and won't read anything that has too much or the wrong type, and I found this fine.
Is it good? I remember reading the first chapter, think I must have been in a bad mood at the time because I probably prematurely decided it was going to just be grimdark violence and I didn't need to read another manga like that right then. But I liked Uwagaki a lot, both the writing and art.
>Is it good?
Uwagaki wasn't that good either (from a certain perspective).
I'd say it seems that the Plot is not as unfocused as Uwagaki.
I'm still hoping for more cute Windchime moments.
Yandex works wonder.
I really liked Uwagaki, it was bullshitless as most highschool romance manga go. And the MC wasn't completely spineless, the art was great and the girls were cute and the ending was good. Not a bad read.
Get that fuckin spanish shit out of here.
The idea of a simple grid layout is not draw attention to the panel layout and instead focus the reader's attention on the the drawings in the panel. In that particular page outside of the establishing shot the content of each panel is equally impotent and the focus is on The Joker's body and face language, so it makes sense for them all to be the same size.
You can find more unconventional panel layouts in western Comics as well though like:
And of course Will Eisner was rightly famous for his expermints in page layouts.
Check in the SAUCE section if you have this
notnaruto is surprisly interesting, way more than Boku hero. I hope the plot can go somewhere and it don't get axed
Do you not like cute girls doing cute things, anon?
yeah, made sure to do that.
took me almost a half hour to figure out what settings did what so that i could get it looking fairly normal again.
Now its time to figure out how Exlinks works, and see if i can incorporate the search function into the SAUCE section, since it tends to get pushed onto another line
I wanted to say that's the most idiotic thing i heard all week, but there's that asshole that keeps spamming his retarded comparison between hinamatsuri or yotsuba, so you're going to have to settle for second place.
It's the one where everyone
drinks a lot of soda
Maybe is just me, but I cant fathom how some, many mangas actually came from LN, because I cant imagine reading those things as books.
Indeed, not even Yandex finds anything at all.
44 volumes, shite, is it a sequel of Doctor K or what? And why does it look so much like Ken, the author seems to be another one.
