In 2007 when KyoAnus invented moeshit, pic related.
Really though, what is it that stops modern anime from looking "better"?
Just how much money and animator sweat and blood had to be dumped into shit like Cowboy Bebop such that we can't have anything looking that good these days unless it's a HAND SEVEN DRAWN YEARS exercise in futility? Do animation studios today just hate drawing backgrounds and shading?
I never get tired of this image.
Skeletor's face there should be lit up more with the light from that magic, not darkened. Looks retarded.
Is it really a money problem? Did the anime industry make more money in the 90s? Are there stats anywhere on that kind of thing? I would pay for anime if it actually improved the animation of future projects.
Season 2 never though based on spoilers I'm not sure I even want a Season 2.
>Foreign sales virtually never taken into account when most shows get made (Things like gundam unicorn and the like are an exception)
>Pirating having anything to do with anime decline
It sounded stupid when japs themselves tried to say it, it sounds stupid now when people here do.
