Episode one airs soon, subs a few hours after that.
Delinquent looking black haired guy is the only reason this show looks appealing, Shoujo's tend to be all the same and not really interesting to watch.
>the hook is the only reason the show looks appealing
Barely anybody would be interested if Takeo wasn't a hench-ass motherfucker.
Delinquent =/= delinquent-looking
I'll be mad if this should end in a relationship between feMC and the bishounen guy. I've seen a lot of Shoujos where the initial love interest of the female main character gets replaced by someone else she didn't have any interest in at the beginning of the serie.
Shoujos can be pretty good as long as it isn't something entirely focused on romance, with a few exceptions of course. It's a problem all romance stories have. Harems are usually shit as well, same with Otome stuff and you can probably guess how shitty Yaois are. I guess it's because this stuff tends to use generic fetishes as its only selling point.
He's not ugly he just looks like one of them bad delinquent guys who's life changed for the better because of a cute female.
I said Delinquent LOOKING maybe not cherry pick a post to try and look smart you silly sausage.
>Taking Lelouch seriously
Seems like something MAL would say
Can someone tell me what exactly is the point in editing CR scripts? I'm natively Japanese and I've seen their translations and they're totally fine. So what is the point in going ahead and altering that and then calling it yours? Most of the time, wouldn't you simply be going farther away from the original translation? Especially if the person editing that script doesn't speak Japanese and re-words the sentence in a way that doesn't match?
All subs are equal, but some are more equal than others.
Couldn't tell you. I'm learning Japanese and use HS as training wheels, any other subs are usually full of bad jokes and are further from the original lines and as a result are horrible for learning.
>What started this?
Big announcement on the 15th.
The real answer for us endusers is video quality, in regards of groups that only use edited scripts.
HS are straight from the source like CR or whatever, which are badly encoded most of the time, especially the eyerape that is funimation.
Other than that, there's nothing special besides softsubs, karaoke, stylized subs, signs and other shit, etc. But most of the time they are cancerous as fuck anyway so the advantages aren't always worth it.
It runs in Lala, which is a shoujo magazine.
That's a great OP, that King Kong part is hilarious.
The manga keep a consistent good quality so if it's a straight adaption then I don't see how it would be bad.
I've only read the translated so far so I don't know much beyond that, but if it's up volume three then the story is still cute and hilarious like the first volume. Hopefully the anime will generate more interest in the manga scanlation.
YESYESYESYESSSS Raws available?
Pic related is a threadly(from now on) reminder that Suna is a based motherfucker and a true bro.
Amazing first episode, I'm going to die if they keep this up for 24 episodes.
Her voice fit pretty well in my opinion. A small girl who's always a bit shy infront of the person she love.
I think Megumi Han's voice is fine, only three or four lines that feels weird, just like when she said arigatou in low voice. But when she speaks with high pitched voice, it sounds fine to my ear.
Nope, the first episode is pretty much direct adaption with nothing cut of the first and half of the second chapter. It ended here.
This show is going to push me to my limits
>implying you wouldn't take responsibility
What do you think of the pacing ?
I think this episode is perfect, I like how they left it at Takeo's misunderstanding.
But if we're going at this pace, probably the problems will be solved at the end of episode 2, and probably in episode 3
we could see Takeo and Yamato start dating. I think it's difficult to depict the couple's relationship in anime, especially when there are almost no conflicts in it. This is different from Nana, which have really complex relationship, this anime only have a normal relationship, and that probably could be really boring for some people. I wonder how the staff will manage this.
You must have a very twisted definition of optimistic.

Personally I kind of hope the staff will manage it by ignoring the people who find such things boring and catering to those who don't.
saw it and it was absolutely perfect. I never thought even once that this show was boring even the relationship is normal. Don't know why buit watching takeo, suna, and yamato reaction with echa bring smile and laughter to my face.
Considering most anime with romance elements either use forced drama, ship teasing and other baiting tropes to entice viewers, I would think the masses would welcome a normal relationship.
Fucking this. Trying to affaoir a manga that's good for specific reasons and making it into something else would be retarded.
Why the hell is isshuukan friends still on these lists?
Aye, I think it's perfect aswell, I hope they manage to keep this up the whole two cours.
>this anime only have a normal relationship, and that probably could be really boring for some people
The manga also have comedy as one of the focus, even if they don't have any relationship drama there's plenty of comedic moment throughout, those should be good enough for people that doesn't find the relationship interesting. And like >>123729154 said, I hope the staff choose a target audience instead of trying to add in some unnecessary stuff to appeal to other audience group.
I thought Danna was a web manga before the adaption?
What happen in the manga? I stopped reading it.
>a target audience
Pressed enter too fast, I meant: choose the target audience the manga already have, people who enjoy this sort of adorable relationship with no drama.
I have a smaller, more "verified" version of the list. I think the one you have is one some anon made without even trying to verify the stuff on it.
Can't post it now because I'm on my phone. I can post it when I dump Okusan tonight if you want a good one to work off of.
And of course Okusan is already on mine.
Ah, I see, thank you. I'll probably be going to sleep soon after making some webm and gif for this episode so I'll look for it in the archive, thank you in advance.
Ah yes the misunderstood giant character, These people tend to be the best bros you could find.
No, probably because "muh race mixing".
Even though Takeo's father is just a normal suntanned Japanese man.
I'm just really hype up for this show.
Here's an updated version of that chart.
Fuck I hate people who say this. Someone told me to do this long ago and now it's been 8 years on and off studying Japanese and I can still only just sort of read stuff that isnt in Shounen Jump.
Good lord this guy is fucking based, I love him already.
Well worth watching for this guy alone.
Anything with Takeo would be appreciated.
I'm sorry but I'm horrible at vectoring things.
Because he's Suna.
Try not being retarded and actually putting effort in. 2 years of studying in my free time and I can read most manga, read since LNs, and play games.
Even went to Japan and got around just fine.
I don't understand. I saved that version from a Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san thread.
Just glancing at it, I can tell you which anon made it. He was all excited to take the good one we made a year ago and made it by putting a bunch of things he hasn't read on it.
He's an eager fool, and because of him there are like 17 bad versions floating around.
I only learn the basic Japanese like how to read Katakana, Hiragana, and some basic grammar in high school for 2 and half years, and after graduated I haven't learn it again, until I'm hooked with anime and start watching animu for 1 year. From my experience, if you can read the hiragana and katakana, and have been watching animu more than 1 year, probably you'll understand 90% of this manga in raw. Only some basic conversation and not that difficult to follows.
They didn't get to the confession this episode, shame.
However it still was a pure as fuck episode. Just as pure as the manga, if not more.
Read the thread. I'm on my phone and can't. I'll send it to stalker, who's good with image manipulation, and we'll add to the last good version to make a newer one.
Just stop posting that crap version.
Is this the "correct" one?
At least tell him how to distinguish the good from the bad.
But magazines do contain stories that are sometimes outside their main audience so... anyway, it's a good series, so if more people enjoy it that's good.
>Koharu no hibi
I'm so glad someone posted some in a OPT. Just the right amount of creepy with cuteness.
Oh god why
He's just female magnet, even the women with the baby on the train was blushing for him.
In the end, we never learn about what happen to her family.
Dont listen to them anon, it quickly goes off the rails.
I know. This was made before Evergreen and Isshukan Friends went to shit, I was asking because that anon said that the "correct" version was one that was made a while ago. Having series that shouldn't be there aymore would make sense in that case.
Was her family part of the story at some point? I can't recall.
At least her and MC have a kid together. Best ending.
Based loli defender.
Protecting the lolis from /a/ scum.
Ah. That makes sense.
Evergreen was really good up until the last couple chapters. Suddenly drama fucking everywhere. What a stupid reason for her to hate him too ESPECIALLY after she got to know him.
That was cute as fuck
I bet Gouda can beat up a Johj with his barehand.
It was just one of the question the MC brought up but she never answered and we never see anything.
Aye, both the OP and ED are great, music-wise and animation-wise.
I like it. It's sugar high anime. You can see that both boys helping each other: Suna is reading the girl well - he knows that she likes Takeo, wjile Takeo thinks that he is going to help Suna and the sweet girl to become a couple.
So is the girl actually interested in the big guy? His extreme lack of self confidence is kind of grating on me already though, so down trodden that he can't even fathom that he might be the person the girl likes for even a second.
>Japan’s cellphones are like the endemic species that Darwin encountered on the Galápagos Islands — fantastically evolved and divergent from their mainland cousins.
>that gorilla from cromartie
That Gorilla already have a girlfriend, right? Another female gorilla with a bow.
Gorilla. There won't be any change in his physical appearance.
The whole thing about his character is that, in addition to being a big guy, he's very dense. The reason why Suna has turned down all the girls that have asked him out is because
either they've said something bad about Takeo and or Takeo liked the girl.
I'd like to see infrared make a comeback. It's a nice choice for situations where you'd want to send small signals or trigger something without having to have all the bloat of NFC/bluetooth.
I don't know for what kind of purpose is this webm, but I know you're both a great and weird anon at the same time.
