This is just me but I really disliked FA's version this week. Between all the niggerstream style talk and turning Ochako and her parents into hicks, even the BTFO scene was inferior to translatorfag from the previous threads. I mean the fucking bubbles themselves should give you an idea of how long your phrases should be anyway, why go out of your way to localize that? I'll never understand why scanlators feel they need to change everything if someone else has already used a particular line.

But that's just me, maybe others like it. I preferred when FA was just starting out, the vocabulary was refreshing yet the localization wasn't overbearing. It's one thing to have Bakugou being a sperglord but there's no indication Uraraka is a hick.

A very good point that I missed, I should probably read it over and see if her accent changes from when she talks to Deku and when she talks over the phone. If so, that explains it though I don't think a hick's accent is accurate for an Osakan accent since there are still rural areas in Japan and Osaka is not rural for the most part. Actually for the past few chapters I really gotta hand it to whoever translates in threads. Another favorite of mine was their choice on Hatsume's fight, and they phrased Aizawa going "her quirk should be salesman". That just works so much better than what FA/Viz chose.

He can't win against Todoroki without incredible luck or sudden mastery over One for All. Now I'm not going to say Deku won't put up a fight, but he'll lose eventually. Todoroki know that Deku's quirk is some sort of superstrength so he won't let him touch him.

PLus, if Deku wins he'll go against Iida in the next round (probably). And from a story's perspective, it'll feel like a breather between Todoroki and Bakugou's fight.

It is much more likely and interesting that Todoroki will win and fight against Bakugou in the final, which will prompt Bakugou to have a talk about how Todoroki can just tell his father to fuck off and be done with it.
