That's like winning a bag of pure shit, I'm not even lying Sekai is the worst Gundam MC of all time, even worse than Kio. Then again Shia was equally shitty character so I guess it's fine.

There was no conclusion for any of the pairings, except Yomi & Suga Akira and mantis man & his waifu. Everyone else were settled with "friendship", Mirai most likely rejected Yuuma in the end and he returned to his school harem. Minato and Fumina obviously not happening, he was too creepy for her. Shia was just acting slutty but Sekai is too dense to notice and doesn't care. Shimon and Gyanko? Depends, they're probably just friends now but Shimon seemed to like her and they now have a reason other than Sekai to keep in contact.

But the official rule is that the first girl wins so Fumina won by default, also Ral's ass itched for her from the beginning not to mention all the support from her mother and Mirai and kind of even Gyanko when she was mad Fumina lets some other stranger girl go flirt with her man like the beta she is.

Even if you hate Kamille's personality, there's some effort in his characterization and I'd even say he's very well written protagonist. Sekai, there's no effort, his entire character could be described "he's hotblooded!" and that's all there is. He's not even very good at what he's doing but somehow the entire show and its characters manage to revolve around him, he gets everything handed to him only because he is the main character. He has no charisma or anything interesting going on for him yet everyone keeps sucking his dick. He's a bland harem MC and generic battle shonen MC at the same time, lost in a show that doesn't have a place for either.

Where? She had no personality, and her character was changing every episode. They didn't even bother giving her any kind of characterization before she went after Sekai's dick, and it made no sense for her to be so interested in Sekai because of BBG considering Sekai didn't even build it. Also there's nothing kuudere about her, I understand you need to make up personality traits for her because she has none but that's going a bit too far. It's okay if you admit you like her solely for her character design, but as a character she was just as bland and shitty as her brother Wilfrid.

I think they were trying to recreate Reiji, but failed completely.
They wanted an outsider to keep experiencing more and more of the wonders of gunpla, but instead we got some martial artist blockhead who just coasted along for the first half of the season (when reiji was doing training battles in seedy bars), before shitting out constantly recycled martial arts moves.
Then they go and undo one of the biggest tenants of build fighters "People can be serious about it BECAUSE it's just a game" and give sekai the stupid trait to receive physical damage during a battle, making the battles actually dangerous (although it never amounted to anything).
Girls swirl around sekai for some unknown reason, while Reiji actually built a relationship with Aila through chance encounters, culminating in the climax during their battles.

At the end of the day, Sekai's arc was so terribly shallow that I think they either didn't think it through at all, or they were expecting to be able to do more in the 3rd and 4th cour before realising they weren't going to get them (seriously, S1 went through the world cup, but Try only the nationals, were they thinking they were going to get another couple cours to go all the way?).

That's not kuudere. Kuudere is a character that seems/starts as cold and cynical, but then shows soft side. Shia was nothing like this, she started flirting with Sekai the instant she saw him.

I don't really hate her but in the end she was just nothing, her "rivalry" with Fumina was incredibly forced and nothing in her characterization made sense.
