Why is Celty objectively the best waifu?
She's a lewd girl.
I really, really hate the whole 'gosh, I'm the main character and I'm new to the city, let me narrate the episode with exposition about my friends and my feelings' thing. It's a terrible way to start an anime. It usually means I'm not going to like the anime, because it usually follows up with more narrator expositions and MC whining.
How many episodes does it take to get somewhere... anywhere... When does it hook you?
That's the entire shtick.
It literally introduces you each character and their quirks with some back story.
This goes on for a while, then shit hits the fan once they're all established.
If you can't deal with this, you obviously won't like it.
>I really, really hate the whole 'gosh, I'm the main character and I'm new to the city, let me narrate the episode with exposition about my friends and my feelings' thing.
That's just ONE of the many main characters.
Each one of them will narrate their own episode.
did you ever watch Baccano? It's just like that. You don't even get to know all of the cast and some of the starting events before half way of the show.
you're missing two of the best characters in anime history.
I should edit this to say "I hope this was you"
Again: you dropped it before most of the cast was even introduced. The guy you think is the "main character" is in fact one of several main characters.
This is like walking out of Pulp Fiction before the Vince and Jules scene ends.
About the end of the Hollywood arc I came to realization that I only really care about Celty's part of the story. Hope the next cour has more cute Celty with her husbando, this last arc was lacking.
But everyone seems to be saying that for every new episode I have to relive the first episode's exposition style until most of the characters are finally introduced. That is the problem for me, as I really hate that style of storytelling. I came here to find out how the series proceeds and whether or not it will likely appeal to me, and you guys have been helpful. It's nothing personal.
step it up, son.
Also you do know they appear in Durara. They did quite early cameo in S2 too.
>keeps her mouth shut
>is hot as hell
>can drive you around wherever
Some people is this thread thinks that Ryuugamine Mikado is the main character, little they know that this story is about multiple protagonists. What a pity.
You're basically telling us, you have the attention span of a grade schooler.
I bet you walked out of Lord of the Rings before they even left the village.
Obviously this, or any of his works including Baccano! and Vamp!, are not for you.
>Not watching Lord of the rings
>thinking your opinion matters
I'm going to assume you meant Shizuo not Izaya.
In season 1 they had a backstory episode. You know how there's those stories about people being able to temporarily surpass their limits through pure adrenaline rush, and like lift up a car to save someone?
Shizuo triggers that reaction all the time when he's pissed off. And eventually his body got used to it so he doesn't end up crippled afterwards.
I remember he made a strength ranking somewhere, pretty sure anni_fiesta translated it. IIRC they're both on the same level and some other guy (can't remember his name) takes first spot.
She's a god
