A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.

They never meet. They are forever in a long-distance relationship and they sometimes wonder if it'd be better if they just broke up.

A 16 year old boy and a girl he is friends with are walking home from school in the rain when the wind causes the boy to lose hold of his umbrella. He runs ahead to go get it and, upon picking it up, he is struck by lightning and collapses.

The girl runs to his side, but he immediately wakes up and starts standing. Upon looking around and moving his body as though to verify he can move and feel, he starts laughing. First a giggle, but it escalates into a completely insane cackling, which scares the shit out of the girl.

The boy starts explaining that he is a man born long, long ago on a planet in a galaxy far, far away. That he had the power to view distant locations, read minds, see the future, and influence probability. The entire phenomena of life on Earth was him manipulating probability so that somebody close to himself would eventually be born. That lightning strike, which he also caused and shaped, did the last bit of work, perfectly scrambling the boys nervous system into a copy of himself.

The girl doesn't believe him at first because this is perfectly in line with the kind of joke that boy would play on her. But then he sweeps her off her feet and they have wild sex and go on to conquer the world.

The main character is a high school boy with the ability to read minds. He's had the ability since birth and has never revealed it to anyone. It's completely automatic, if he's near someone he automatically knows everything that they are thinking. Because of this, he comes off as a seemingly perfect person. He lacks the courage to be honest with most people because he automatically latches on to what he knows they want him to do. Eventually, however, he meets a girl. The girl is insane. However, because of the bizarre way her brain works, he finds that he's completely unable to decipher her thoughts. He is faced with the first person he actually feels that he can honestly interact with and eventually falls in love. The theme of the anime will revolve around the importance of trust in relationships and being able to appreciate the difficulties that come with it.

In the end, he develops romantic feelings for the young woman who was responsible for giving him the courage to pursue his dreams once more.

However, the protagonist develops a guilty conscience because of the complete trusts the woman he is in love with has for his fake persona while he was never honest to her concerning his real identity.

Ghost Slide is the story of Akira Ōhashi, who is transported to Daisuru after making a post on an internet forum focused on paranormal phenomena. In this universe, a war between Ghosts and humans has been waging for the past 1,000 years. Akira is attacked by a ghost soon upon entry but is rescued by Googi Boyma, one of the humans who fights against the ghosts (humans who slay ghosts are called “slides”).

One day, the MC wakes up and feels something's off, like he's in the wrong world. Despite having memories of living in this world, it feels like he's misplaced. Either way, he goes to school like usual, only to find that he mysteriously has no friends. His attitude, which is to help people and be kind, gets him in trouble once people bully him for it.

He meets several girls after this, with all of them gravitated towards him amidst this confusion, and despite all of them being beautiful, they are all also outcasts in one way or another. One of them is an energetic girl who is considered a weird outcast because of her hyperactive ways, one of them is a harsh girl who always snaps at people and is bullied for her reactions, one of them is a near completely silent girl who is placed in special ed, and the other is a shy girl with big breasts who is sexual harassed.

It turns out that the MC and these girls are from the 2D world. The MC represents the standard harem MC, and the girls respectively represent the genki girl, tsundere, Rei clone, and dojikko. Throughout the show, scenarios are played out which show how these archetypes would actually work in the real world and how they cannot exist in reality without being shunned or exploited.

One hundred years from now, humanity has finally entered something resembling the Universal Century. Along with the technology comes the inevitable war in space. The world and its surrounding colonies are riddled with mecha warfare and destruction.

Despite the war raging on, there is still a need for commercial space travel. The main character is a fresh recruit in the Earth Federation's space liner division, designed to ferry civilians around the Earth Sphere for cheap profit to fund the war.

His crew and him ferry passengers to the moon, the colonies, and around the world. They are armed with one light mecha for protection and utility. Along the way, they encounter their own share of confrontations which they have to use their wits to get out of. The larger aspect of the war is never seen except in headlines and being mentioned off-hand by the characters.

While the story is narrorated from the perspective of his daughter, it is sprinkled with the father's thoughts in his hospital room.

As dawn emerges, he reaches the final book. His little daughter has now grown up, although the world he once knew has now been shattered by reality. Through out the diaries however, she alone has kept hope, both for her own future, and his. This final book, however, was abruptly cut short, with a poppy.

The story ends as the father reflects on the meanings of this, with the sun shining through his window, alone in his pristine hospital bed, in a world that's moved on.
