What would have happened if
Urobuchi wrote Shirobako?
No one dies except Ema and pretty much every key animators in the show.
Zuka suicide at episode 3
Aoi starts to threaten keyframers with a knife and binge eats donuts
Risa breaks down every time he sees a car tire and starts to cry
Diesel only writes stories about suffering
Ema gets in an accident and loses her hand
anime is humans.
Zuka heavily exploited, try to sleep with producers to get roles only to get betrayed and hanged herself.
Ema couldn't make enough money to make end meet and became homeless. Fired after failing to draw cats and try to commit sudoku by cutting her wrists and failing. Loses all drawing capability after failed suicide attempt and wrecking her nerves.
Aoi pleases old men for key frames and still couldn't deliver. End up becoming like Hiraoka and jaded toward the anime industry.
Mii became jobless after leaving her tires job. Never got the recommendation from Aoi, went back to her hometown and changed her sex to a boy because of how male dominated the CG industry is.
Rii-chan slept her way up the field and used her tricks in the book to get ahead the rat race. Have no qualm about shitting on her friends just to achieve her dream. Became an Urobuchi tier writer and is his self insert.
The Butcher's "Shirobako", cutting down dreams with the cleaver of reality:
1) Ema destroys her reputation by extensively delaying the key frames production on her assigned Exodus! episodes. Her coworkers, especially freelance animator Segawa, only ever point out the flaws in her work. Her coworker Iguchi, realizing the pressures placed upon Ema to improve and save face, consoles her by taking her to a peaceful park away from the work environment. They are greeted by the local stray cat, which gives Ema a sudden determination to draw again with her best effort! However, by the time she gets back to the studio, she's forgotten the detailed movements of the cat in her mind, and she is overcome by distress once again. Moreover, she's fought with her mother for the first time in a long time (but certainly not the first time) over her current status as an animator and how she should come back home to make a living elsewhere. Ema has no choice but to lie about her current state and hang up with a false smile.
A senior coworker, Sugie, realizing that Ema is on the verge of emotional collapse, attempts to give Ema advice by telling her not to think too hard about her work. Ema takes the old man's advice full-heartedly but ends up rushing through all her work as a result. The quality of her drawings decrease over time, and she is eventually let go from the studio after having an emotional breakdown on the roof of the studio for being an unnecessary burden on the studio's animation staff. Ema is to return home to her family immediately and perhaps be sent away from the city to start a new life elsewhere.
2) Misa courageously quits her "dead-end" job at Super Media Creations (SMC) in order to pursue her own passion for storytelling through animation. She looks for a job with smaller studios, confident in the fact that job-hunting would be quick given her extraordinary 3D animating talents. Surely enough, she lands one through her high school friend, Aoi. However..
However, the veil of her illusion would soon be lifted. Misa's new coworkers, unlike the ones she had previously, were fatter, lazier, more disorganized and non-communicative. Misa let these facts pass by her initially under the assumption that it was only because she was new to their small studio and that they would get used to her and open up to her with time.
As time passed however, she realized that this was the true nature of smaller studios compared with large and well-established companies like SMC, which are wealthy, organized, led by an iron hand, and have a rich history as well as a firm reputation in producing quality works. This small studio, on the other hand, had nothing. They were beginning from the very ground up, and Misa began to see how long it would take to get them to the same state her previous company was in, if they could even make it at all.
The years passed, yet her studio's progress was going nowhere. And even if it was, it was too slow for Misa to stand any longer. Her pay was obviously cut down a significant amount by switching jobs, and she simply could not live by the work at this studio alone any longer. She's lost twenty pounds simply from the decreased quantity of food she could afford. One day, without hesitation, she walks out of the studio, without a word to her coworkers, to the front desk at SMC. After being rude to the front desk supervisor, she is eventually granted her ex-boss' presence. Immediately upon seeing his face after two years, Misa's face falls onto the floor and she begs for her job back like an animal. Her ex-boss smiles.
3) Midori finds herself a job in Aoi's studio through her connection with Aoi. With her bubbly personality, she immediately attaches herself to the studio's screenwriter, a middle-aged man who fails to shake off the attractive newcomer. Midori becomes the focus of attention for a long while with her personality and bright-colored, courageous apparel..
I am willing to place a huge bet on the future SHIROBAKO doujins released in the near future would have 99% bullying and heavy exploitation of the bakos with 1% of Tarou vanilla sex and homoshit.
I don't think the nips picked up on the whole bullying thing or bought into it as heavily as we did. We'll be lucky to get a handful of uncreative ryona doujins with shitty art to constitute 'bullying'.
>implying vanilla sex with Tarou isn't the highest form of bullying
Jelly that Tarou only like older women? Enjoy your used good Hiraoka, slut.
Zuka and Ema would be dating because there has to be lesbians in an urobutcher show
You wont like ever if you don't like after 8episodes in. Shirobako mostly stayed the same dealing with Aoi and her friends problem in the industry.
Just moved on and accept that you have shit taste.
>Your dick's face when
>Michiko Yokote (横手 美智子 Yokote Michiko?) is a Japanese screenwriter. The name stands for a team of female screenwriters (a plot writer and a dialog writer)
I think someone posted proof that heavily implied Mari Okada being part of this but I forgot to save it.
Becoming popular with the studio's staff, there are few who could oppose her or criticize her work ethics. Midori begins to realize this and the feeling of true freedom and power begins to overtake her.
Midori's coworker, Daisuke, one day confronts her about her work ethics, saying that Midori has it easy because she's a girl and that she is using her gender to her advantage. At first Midori is shaken by the truth behind his claim, but she realizes Daisuke's pathetic state of self-loathing and exacts her vengeance on him by seeing to it that his statements are brought directly to the studio's president. Daisuke is let go from the studio a short time later.
Midori continues to pursue the studio's screenwriter, requesting over again to become his apprentice. After seeing what happened to Daisuke, the screenwriter finally caves in. Midori is elated; With the studio's screenwriter in the palm of her hand, becoming a screenwriter at Musashino Animation and achieving her dream is only mere steps away.
4) Shizuka lives in a complete fantasy world, a world which is supported by her friends and family. She believes (and is constantly told) that as long as she works hard, she will get her dream job no matter what.
Time passes by, and Shizuku is unable to land a notable voice acting role. She practices by herself as much as she can during her spare time alone, yet no success seems to come to her. She doesn't understand why, and she never will.
One day, Shizuka's high school friend Aoi, who has already helped two of her friends get a job through her connections, is about to set up an opportunity for Shizuka to talk to two potential employers at a bar, only to be subtlely refused by Shizuka immediately. And so, the opportunity vanished.
don't use my image for such petty bullying
My hand is burning from the hundreds of drawings, my head is overheating from the concentration, the diziness from the lack of sleep makes me nauseous.
I have to finish this cut.
I can't get the cat right.
Can't get it right, can't get it right, can't get it righ't, can't get it rightcant' get it rightcan't get it rightcan't get it right.
The cat is a nuisance.
>not forced writing
I'd say this is better writing because it's at least based on reality.
Years pass by at this point, with no success from Shizuka. She will never understand why. She spends most of her time watching successful idols on TV and eating junk food due to her low income. She's gained fifteen pounds at this point. Her friends begin to call her less and less, and she knows why - her presence is beginning to be painful for them. Shizuka doesn't blame them, she decides her friends should continue on with their success without her if she is only going to be a burden.
Shizuka gains another five or ten pounds, she doesn't know anymore. She's stopped cooperating the voice acting agency and works only one part time job now. Unsure of what will happen from this point on, she continues the same empty routine day by day. The bubble of a fantasy world she used to live in has bursted long ago. It's not long until she ends this world as well, except this time, with her own hands.
5) Up until this point, Aoi has helped two of her friends land their dream jobs with her competent social skills. Like Midori, her good looks and charm has led her a long way into the animation industry. But unlike Midori (and Misa), who recently succeeded in landing her dream job as a screenwriter, Aoi herself was not sure if working as production desk could be considered to be her primary goal in life.
Aoi's indecisiveness would haunt her for years to come. She had always been under the impression that she would eventually work in the industry under creative contexts, not purely social ones. She grew more and more jealous as she saw her coworkers drawing, coloring, writing and recording audio. What held her back, however, was fear. Aoi was fully aware of what happened to Ema - she was with her as she cried for four hours straight on the rooftop of the studio. She was fully aware of what happened to Misa, who seemed to cut contact with her due to an awkward form of resentment for sticking her with a smaller studio.
play nice anon
(Even though the decision to ultimately work at the studio was Misa's and Misa's alone). And finally, she was fully aware of what happened to Shizuka, who's family members had recently informed her of Shizuka's death.
No, there was too much risk involved with switching jobs and trying your hand at something creative when you've had little previous experience. And the risk behind doing so grew exponentially through time. Unlike Shizuka however, Aoi grew to accept the harshness of reality over time.
With Ema, Misa, and Zuka virtually gone from her life, Aoi only had one friend left whom she could express her deeper feelings with, but even this was a stretch. Midori, now a successful script writer, has made herself her own circle of friends and colleagues, whom she associated with daily. The loss of their three friends bothered Midori to no extent whatsoever - she was very happy. Midori was a much different girl from high school, but was successful nonetheless. Aoi continued to associate herself with this new girl and her circle of friends, because there was nothing else worthwhile she could do with her spare time.
Aoi now sits alone in her apartment, staring at a colorful box of donuts in front of her. Her sister just called her, playfully teasing her and crying about how jealous she was that Aoi got to work in a creative industry while she was stuck in a boring and mundane one. Aoi simply laughed like she always did, saying that her job wasn't too much different from her sister's. After some more teasing, she finally hung up.
Aoi slowly takes a bite into one of the donuts and stops - it's painful.
An overhwleming feeling of emptiness overtakes her.. She begins the chant she knew so well with a whisper:
"Don don donuts... doudai-"
She begins to sob.
How come all the recent solo Mii-chan art has been terrible?
Because Mii-chan is terrible
What? She cared so much about it that she quit a dead end higher paying secure job with benefits to go to a lower paying, start-up company just so she can do what she likes instead of being an office drone churning out tires.
The release was forced by some cancerous anon bullying them in the first place; and the raw used contains jap ads and stuff.
Otherwise, literally nothing wrong about it if you just want to watch the episode.
I wouldn't keep v0 though if you would also like to keep it on harddrive.
Sure, if you ask me before I start the story I can do it.
Script Outline for Bakomurder:
1) The series begins by following Zuka, who quickly realizes her own failure to achieve her dreams. She loves her friends so much however, and wishes to do anything she can to try and help them.
2) Zuka learns of Ema's coworker, Segawa, who is destroying Ema's reputation at work. She confronts Segawa at her home - Segawa happens to be sick (and cranky). Zuka's hands seem to move on their own - she puts Segawa to sleep for good.
3) Zuka is under suspicion by police but no evidence is found against her. Her friends are deeply worried. Zuka's sanity begins to dwindle.
4) Zuka learns of Misa's boss and interprets the situation to be that her boss is hindering Misa from achieving her dreams. Zuka confronts the boss at the work place during night. The boss is unamused at Zuka's criticisms and violence ensues. Zuka knocks the boss unconscious with a computer monitor. She panics and drags his body to the roof of the building - throwing him off in the hopes of making it look like a suicide.
5) Zuka, after committing her deed, walks home late at night. She meets Ema on the street (a late night animating key frames at work), who realizes Zuka's horrendous state - mostly torn up clothes. Zuka claims she was sexually harassed on the street but got away. Refusing to talk to the police, Zuka is taken by Ema back to Ema's studio since it's close by to mentally recover. Ema secretly sends out a text to Midori and Aoi to meet her at the studio.
6) It's well beyond midnight and the two chat casually in the darkness of the studio. Misa and her boss are eventually brought up. Ema mentions that Misa should probably find another job, which hits a nerve in Zuka, and she breaks down quickly. Zuka violently assaults Ema, who escapes her grasp. A cat & mouse game ensues from the darkness of the vacant studio.
Fuck, out of space, I lose unless I'm allowed another post.
America has crows too. Seriously.
Crows are also usually used to convey an ominous tone to a scene. Given that this was a happy countryside scene, it would be weird to just have a bunch of crows cawing in the background.
it's only a matter of time before they tell her to poison the office coffee.
That kid really wants some Goth Loli.
Nice make-up to work in bath.
What the hell?
i never really payed attention to writer of anime so googled him and found out that he's the one who wrote psycho pass and fate/zero. knowing that it finally makes sense why fate/zero is so much better than the rest of the fate series
Where's Imai? She was busty.
I hate when the show don't have official measures.
This should include all her clothing throughout the series, most rarest is probably the red one, top right corner, only seen that one once.
You actually wrote what I told you the other day, wasn't expecting you to deliver, thanks.
Why is Rii-chan always getting a pass and not getting bullied by any anons?
Even in these suffering and bullying fanfiction she somehow always ended up being praised to high heaven.
Is this the power of being cute?
>Is this the power of being cute?
Not just that. In addition to being extremely cute, she's also very pretty, intelligent, creative, curious, nice and dependable. She's literally the perfect woman for the true patrician.
As she's hanging herself, her phone starts ringing.
Out of the corner of her eye she can see the number. It's the director, calling her to tell her they want her to voice Lucy. She's struggling to get out of the noose somehow, but everything quickly fades to black as she's reaching out to the phone.
Yet her fate still ended being better than almost everyone.
Ema got fucked and killed.
Aoi got fucked and fat.
Zuka got fucked and mute.
Mii got fucked and became a boy.
Nothing happened to Rii, she just got locked up in a cell for a few days and will cleared her name from any suspicion of murder once the police investigate the crime scene.
You don't just introduce a cutie like this in the last episode.
Reminds me of that hottie at Misa's old workplace.
I still think diesel-chan looks like itachi in that picture
>tfw no Dreamgast 4
Did picture bro ever come back with the dump?
I really need those images.
Why is she still here? Just to suffer?
You seem overly hostile. Is something upsetting you? Did your waifu leave you?
*** **1 **3 **5 *11 *43 *** | -- | Third Aerial Girls' Squadron
>you will never marry ANY bako
>not even one
>not even a single one
Sometimes life is just too cruel
You will never ride shotgun on Nabe's bike.
Why even PA anymore?
Nothing on Okitsu.
I finally get the appeal of these hot and tough as nail girl. It is the off chance and rare occurrence that when you see them smile, your dick literally explode.
Instead Uro what happen if is with Fukuda?
It's her hairstyle.
Why is Endou losing his shit?
She probably come on too strongly even though he is a married man.
Sometimes it is hard to avoid sexual temptation when she possessed such a huge tits. His waifu is kind of flat.
Poor guy, he's terrified of her.
No, she used to be a production assistant (Ochiai's words) before moving to general manager.
She got shit done, fast.
I need more drunk cakes.
So which was your favorite episode /a/?
Mine was Goth Loli-sama backstory.
Mine was the flashback one where Miyamori visits the old Musani HQ.
It was full of feels and awesome retro Andes Chucky intro.
This girl is your friend. She models MiGs.
>The cover art for Shirobako’s fifth Blu-ray volume has been put forth, displaying Diesel-san this time around – and once again, the cover alone is almost enough to trick one into buying the Blu-rays.
>If only the show itself were half as splendid as these Blu-ray covers, then it would most definitely be worth spending money on – fortunately, as this beautiful illustration exemplifies, one doesn’t have to waste any cash in order to appreciate this show’s true beauty, that is to say its bishoujos.
Ponkan8 is one of my favorite illustrators, but he's at his best when he is trying to convey something through the drawing. Especially Diesel, some of those appear a bit strange.
This guy is so happy with his plug in.
Pic very fucking related
The Endou saga and episode 23
I think the first time I saw this episode I was too overwhelmed by all the characters being introduced and everything that I couldn't really appreciate it, but it had me in stitches the second time around. I burst out laughing when Iguchi brought up kantoku's wife leaving him and Honda just groaned in dismay.
The only thing that kinda dissapointed me about this show is that they didn't go into how openings are made. As in how they decide what band does it, the lyrics and etc. Would've been interesting.
their high school project triggers a rip in space-time and through it come mechs and aliens
the girls are slowly picked off one by one trying to hide from the alien supervillain who needs their organs to discern what it was that changed in humanity that led to such technological advancements
when he finds out it was a fluke brought about by supernatural anime he decides to wipe out the world
meanwhile in the underworld the girls are trying to find one another, so they can combine into one perfect being, break through the barrier of death and stop the alien supervillain
Based sound director.
Also that 15 minute/second mix up was sweet.
I really don't know why they drop so many hints between these two, but also have Endou be a married man.
How long until the Shirobako threads and Pixiv fanarts inevitably die down?
I've accepted it.
Just the little things I guess. A mutual crush from animator school I guess.
It's already happening, comrade.
I'll post the mega link in three hours.
They don't have the shirobako set with clear file bonus anymore
But I still bought the donuts, and got to say these donuts are quality donuts
