Tried to like it, the world and setting is amazing but everything else falls flat.

This show managed to take a neat high concept idea and do fucking nothing with it
The characters are completely one note and boring, the stories are too short for me to give a shit about them, and now there's fucking aliens for some reason. The show is an absolute feast for the eyes and the music is great, but they just started forcing drama between the main characters for absolutely no reason at all, and once the stupid alien crap came up I was just done.

Because most of them went into it thinking they'd get an action show, but then episode 3 happened and because /v/ is allergic to what they call "moeshit", they all died of diarrhea while vomiting fiercely. The ones that survived still call it shit or try shitposting about it to.
It's a good show, but it's not for everyone. I don't even feel sorry for all the people who dropped it and missed out on all end of arc episodes so far.

It can be a bit boring, but I'm really enjoying it. Loveliest girls of the season, wish they got more screen time.

It's just dull. It's an okay watch but everything falls flat, you don't really feel attached to or sympathise with anything. I want to say it's wasted potential but it's so unclear what they were trying to do with this show I hesitate to say it had any potential at all.

It's amazing how it's been over 30 years since Macross came out and not a single show has really even tried to use that plot device. Which is kind if a shame, since it's a good one. At least it helped Macross feel really fresh and exciting even today.

Its cause unlike the other arcs they have 3 or so story lines that they are trying to tell at the same time which is ridiculous. The conflicts are between peach farmer v umbrella and okonomiyaki vs the other alien and the people who stole those pots. Then on top of that they are trying to resolve getting Chihaya back to her home planet. I still think its one of the better anime airing this season still.

This season is so shitty that I went to pick up Fafner just so I could watch Exodus even though I hate Ubukata works.
