I want to steal Aoi's lunch money
Fuck, I love how meta they go at times.
This show made me realize that despite being a social retard i really want teamwork to be a thing in my workplace. Thanks P.A. Works.
Never. PA Works employess want to eat deluxe food again so they are already working on a true success.
Oh good, the anime industry is saved! Thanks for the hard work anon.
Trust no one, not even yourself
I'll kill myself without S2 but okay
Obviously he was purged by the higher ups
So do we forgive Hiraoka yet?
One of the best shows I've seen in a while. I really wish there were more slice of life shows about working age adults. Slightly exaggerated but still grounded in reality with fantastic characters and fun writing.
>we will never see them animated ever again.
PA's second largest success as a studio, 2nd only to Angel Beats. It's looking hot to break 15k average.
If this were any other studio, S2 would be guaranteed. If we don't even get a movie when Hanasaku Iroha did, I'll be shocked.
I bet if Mii was alive at the time she would have worked on Victory Gundam and loved the fuck out of it.
Its annoying me how everyone who watches shirobako is now going around the internet talking about how "they understand the anime industy now".
Like some show has bad animation and you can guarantee some idiot is going to say "guys you just dont understand how hard the business is, ive seen shirobako and now i know".
Fucking, these people watched a fictional anime about cute girls (albeit a moderately accurate portrayal, and now they think they are insiders.
I want to choke these people. If you are reading this and you think being a 14 year old white kid who watched shirobako makes your an expert on anime production, drown yourself.
For example pic related
Every weaboo thinks hes an insider now.
"OH GOD I NEVER KNEW HOW HARD MAKING ANIME WAS TIL I SAW SHIROBAKO. SHIROBAKO SHOWED ME THE LIGHT"
No fucking shit. Its a job. Jobs are tough.
>Tarou will never be your buddy
>You will never go drinking and talk moeshit with Tarou
I don't really see how that's any different from the obnoxious bullshit and blithering ignorance those people spout 24/7 anyways.
Weebs are scum, just ignore them and pretend they don't exist. Paying attention to them is like reading youtube comments.
Now that it finished airing we all should agree that based Tarou was the star of the show.
Looks like he afraid of her titty monster
These are the eyes of a man whose light has been stolen from him.
A man whose funny story has ended.
What would you do with a drunk Segawa?
>mfw people say this isn't anime of the last two seasons.
The world must have balance now that the candle in Hiraoka's heart has been lit again.
Holy shit, she looks really pretty without that that stupid hair covering her eye.
whoops I'm a retard I thought you meant Shirobako
I don't know mang, this show didn't look like it was too costly to make, and it's selling pretty well, and has a good fanbase behind it. Plus they've still got a lot of progression and shenanigans to play with. It'd be dumb not to do a second season
So, important question. How old is Yano?
They say she went to vocational school with Hiroaka, and he's been in the biz for about 5 years. Yano, like Aoi, went there went there straight out of high school, which means she started when she was 20-21 and has been working for 4-5 years on top of that.
So in other words, Yano is not only legal loli, but legal christmas cake loli?
Truly best girl.
Everything that was asked of us - we've done. Every night we lay in a tiny apartment - prayin' the casting director wouldn't slit our throats. Every day we spent dancing in a pig suit and serving drinks at a bar while old men whistled all around. But this is the last time we're gonna have to put our dignity on the line. This is finally our first role. When we finish this audition, we get a role. All of us.
Skinny Honda is a miracle of the universe
what was the other show they referenced for the future musani titles? two piece is obvious, but marginal village depopulation girl doesn't ring any bells. sounds too specific to be entirely pretend, though. genkai shuraku kabushikigaisha is the only thing google brings up.
Those Nichijou figs have been there pretty much since the start, someone in the staff is a massive bro. Director?
>Yano and Andou being impressed by Tarou
>Hiraoka immediately shows him up
Whatever it is, best girl is best age.
Am I the only one who DOESN'T want a second season? It ended just fine. It portrayed a lot of different things about the industry and even the history of the industry. Another season would be just more of the same and it would kind of spoil the satisfaction of the ending.
>We are now living in a world with no more Shirobako
This is the second fucking time you copy pasted this shit which you found from MAL, fuck off.
>We will be living in a world with more Yuru Yuri
Don't give up
Has this show made any of you feel like we don't show the creators of anime enough respect just by appropriating their works for shallow reaction images, dank memes, QUALITY threads, and check 'ems?
Yeah, me neither.
I really want a movie. Another season would legitimately be too much bako, I think, but there's a lot more creative freedom with a movie's format to give us an epilogue that remains distinct from what we've already seen while still being respectful to the first 2 seasons.
Tarou and Satou drunken hatesex when?
Why isn't boobs-chan boobs-chan? She even wears yellow clothes
Malicious delusion clings to Zuka like a wet t-shirt on March Break. The girl is haunted by a cloying spectre of inadequacy that's as unrelenting as it is self-actualizing.
She makes shame look so beautiful.
We're going all out for the finale I see.
I'm okay with it becoming a warm memory, but I still got sad when there was no "see you next time" at the very end. Going by the usual notion of "the more, the worse", it might be for the best.
Three newcomers were hooked, two anons from previous threads butthurted.
I like how the anime the girls actually made during the show was not that good at all.
Shichifukujin was tripe fantasy bullshit.
Exodus is fanservice late night mahou shoujo idol.
Third Aerial Girls Squad is your usual military manga adaptation.
I like how it never about prodigies creating award-winning show. It's only about normal girls (while still talented and quite perfect at their job) creating a normal anime. It makes the story more realistic.
Is it just me or did they overdo it too much for the two last episodes? They went silly and surreal in a way they hadn't done in the earlier episodes with the whole gunslinger thing and delivery of the last episode.
Kinda like how the guy dug a tunnel to escape the studio because he didn't feel like doing his job?
Or when the exodus characters all came alive during the meeting in episode 1?
It had a surreal bent from the very beginning.
In the end, bakos are bullying anons.
but that scene was more of a parody, fat guy going the good, the bad and the ugly didn't feel as fitting as a initial D parody.
Sure, his escapes kind of fits into that as well, but things like Miyamori's or anyone else's mind-machinations or hallucinations(like the bear) were at the very least contained in their heads, who the hell hallucinated the Aerial Girls Dead Jedi ghosts in 24 is a mystery though since no one acknowledged them.
Who is the qt3.14?
He's an obstinate and immature effects-animator that likes to do things his own way, flies by the seat of his pants and naturally despises authority.
She's a by-the-book perfectionist that wants things done the right way or the highway and isn't afraid to say the harsh and honest truth, maybe sometimes more harshly than is necessary.
Of course they hate each other. Effects guy probably gets flashbacks of his overbearing mother yelling at him for filling his highschool notebook with doodles instead of studying to be a doctor whenever he hears Segawa. He flinched visibly just seeing her enter the room, like an apparition from his deepest and most freudian nightmares was suddenly walking the waking world.
It's a surreal show. You're supposed to laugh it off because it's comedy.
If you want to think about it from a "realistic" perspective you can just say that the way it "actually" happened was much more boring, and that the people fictionalizing the story took liberties with it.
I agree that this episode was a bit overdone, in that they pretty much handled the most tense moments last episode already with the author and Zuka, which had been built up for the entire second half. Then this episode introduced some minor issues that were supposed to be tense, but really weren't because the climax already happened.
That's because this episode wasn't meant to be climactic. It was just the conclusion. Of course delivering the episode would be the last thing they needed to do. They made it not mundane but also not some tense moment of drama that would ruin the cozy mood of a farewell episode.
>fat guy going the good, the bad and the ugly didn't feel as fitting as a initial D parody.
That's just like your opinion man. Thei're both absurd and they're both there just for the sake of being parodies of classics.
I've always wondered about that. For a walking cycle in hand drawn animation, do they only animate one iteration of the cycle and then just loop it in filming for the full animation, or do they actually animate each iteration of the cycle individually. The latter seems counterintuitive but I guess I don't know enough about animation to really say. I would assume if there were any minor change to the model during the cycle (like the head turning) that would just be animated by itself and then cut over the body's walking cycle in filming.
When I saw this shot I actually thought they hadn't invited Zuka to the party.
That would be some mean shit.
Holy shit just finished the episode and actually cried at the end
AOTS/AOTY don't even care which one. Bravo P.A. Works
>Shirobako third cour will be:
>Aoi as line for Margiville
>NabeP as line for Two Piece (what is a late night anime studio doing with a long-running shonen anime?)
>Yano as Desk for Margiville
>Hiraoka as desk for Two Piece
3D mole guy is checking out the Ghibli goods.
They put a shitload of little things like this into the climax.
Ghibli would make such a wonderfully loveless tiger mom, imposing her impossibly high standards and stiff formalities on her children while never showing them even an ounce of intimacy or affection.
I want to give her that future.
You know part of what I really loved about this show was how everybody struggled with their jobs, and had to deal with shitty grunt work. Made it seem more realistic to have their jobs suck ass most of the time.
Basically I don't want the Bakos to be successful. I want them to suffer forever until they retire.
One of these things just does not belong
People and money. He's the guy who approaches the rest of the production committee with the idea for the show and gets them in on it. Then he has to make sure they like where the money is going. He's the one who contacts the publishers, the TV stations, the distributors, the merchandise companies and so on.
Are Aoi's hallucinations manifesting in the real world?
His job would be sort of like an accountant in a sense. It's business focused; he has to sell the concept from a monetary perspective (this is how much we need, this is where it will be going, etc.) and break down the budget as the production progresses to ensure all sponsoring parties are satisfied that the product is remaining something they are happy to contribute to and have their brand associated with.
He's essentially a liaison between the production and sponsors.
Where the fuck did you get these donuts, Aoi? I'm seein' shit!
Looks like we've all actually gone nuts.
It would also explain
how Konogi Ai can see them. But, then that would also put Ai's existence into question.
>work at Actas
>for GuP's theatrical release
>but he's late for it because he's working at Shirobako
Tanokura is Tsutomu Mizushima himself
I can't believe it's over.
Thank you based P.A. Works.
>I come to work every day and this Yano gives me the same fucking look
Jokes on you, I was already do that before Shirobako.
His face looks pretty shit, I guess CR got a later version of the episode than the TV stations in Japan, hence their 24 hour delay and they decided to edit out Mr QUALITY on the left
It probably would've looked too fluid and slow if there had been a clear middle frame there. Fast running generally should look jerky. Except for when the movement of your leg switches direction, it's generally moving too fast to see clearly and is just a blur of motion.
Okitsu's own OVA fucking when?
>Oh boy, I can't wait to move on from car tyres to battleships and mobile suits!
>watching chinese cartoons
>discussing them on 4chan
>"Weebs are scum"
See you later this year when the next OVA's out
Musashino confirmed for bros
He's using the real meaning of weeaboo, underaged gaia faggots who spout Japanese words in real life and think Japan is like their favourite anime.
Your image is countering the meaning as /v/ uses it
Shows end and franchises die so that new one can take their place
Also its time to boogey
Das it mane
I want to grab her by the ears and yell in her face.
No, she was happy because he dad WASNT sick. Her dad being sick was what made her sad in the first place.
If they weren't riajuu they wouldn't care about personal appearance and they would all be ugly and fat like you.
You missed out on an incredible anime.
>the autism of this post
Let's not hurt anyone, ok?
>they would all be ugly and fat
The show was made for me, not to mention this qt. It reminds me of Ano Natsu de Matteru
Oh boy, here comes the fucking cavalry. Let's make something clear, Yano having not being a virgin isn't a bad thing since she's at a perfect age where she can experience sex with multiple partners if she wants to.
When did Midori start drinking alcohol?
I'm going to miss this anime. 10/10 saddened that no S2. Is the next PA Works going to be another Glasslip?
I'm not gonna watch the last episode.
I'm gonna pretend the show is still running.
Take it from me, don't fall into that trap. I put off watching the final episode of Natsuiro Kiseki indefinitely because I couldn't bear to see it end, and the choice still haunts me to this day.
Bear with it.
Funny story, he took a new job.
Makes me feel bad that the show ended without Yano becoming pregnant with any of the men's seed. I really wish Yano had a happy ending forming a family where she would stay as a strong female figure for her sons and daughters, and would continue to strive as what-was-her-job-again until she became the best of all of Japan in her area.
>mfw that whole driving scene
I'm pretty sure Shizuka is going to be the next HanaKana.
Do you think Zuka made more money voicing 5 lines for a side character than what Ema made all year?
Maybe Zuka can now afford some high quality beer that she can drink alone in her apartment.
10 DONUTS OUT OF 10!
What a wonderful world the Shirobako universe is.
Why is every side character in this show a ridiculous semen demon?
Definitely, fFor sure.
Seiyuu work might be low paying job but 1day field work promotion job like wearing pig suit pay pretty well.
Zuka is literally not even on the same level as the other voice actors.
It's okay guys, I found it.
Too spooky for me.
>No euro beat
Fuck this life.
No he's not, look harder or turn up your contrast.
>You will never be her househusband
>You will never be told about all the crazy shit from work while she lets herself get a little sloppy at home, maybe drinks a little, while she sits and watches you cook
>You will never cuddle together while watching the anime she helped manage
>You will never
experience the fact she has sex like she drivesevery night
