Will Ninja Slayer another Trigger's flop?
And reminder this is not 12 minute show, it's full 24 minute show, even it won't air on TV til 2016
Sowing misinformation and deliberately ignoring the facts. This is a great Trigger thread already!
Talking points still yet to be reached
I don't like the colors. I think it loses the cyberpunk atmosphere when everything is so colorful.
I really liked that first episode too. Then it just became boring.
Ninja Slayer already looks great by comparison.
The only good part about Inou Battle was the Hatoko monologue, but the premise itself wasn't half bad.
How to fix it:
>remove the entire fairy war bullshit
>remove the male protagonist
Cute girls with cute superpowers slice of life would be 10/10 instant classic.
Yeah, that was just me going on a tangent.
But it's not like Trigger even tried doing anything interesting with it. Even if they weren't allowed to change the story in any way, the presentation was extremely lazy and generic. It seemed to me they just made it to desperately try and make people consider them a regular average anime company and temper the expectations of viewers anticipating if not quality, then maybe at least originality from their shows.
The fairy bullshit was insufferable. When I look back on this anime, I'm surprised it was even watchable.
But in the end, Andou was great, Mirei was love, and the rest of the girls around him were pretty interesting. The visuals were nice, I don't know why you called it generic. It wasn't arthouse, that's for sure.
I actually like the art.
I don't like how people were claiming that Trigger was formed to get away from the direction anime has been going and they have done nothing different.
>they have done nothing different.
Yeah, I love all the other anime like LWA, Inferno Cop, SEX and VIOLENCE with MACHSPEED, and Kill la Kill. Glad we're getting more of the same shit we grew up with.
Oh wait, you're serious.
Honestly, it looks interesting, the worst thing about it is the female character designs, they not only fucked the original designs over, they look so out of fucking place it's absurd. The pic in there has a total of 12 characters, if you can easily say which are the 3 characters that don't fit in. If you are going fucking crazy with the designs, make everyone look crazy extreme, but nope, girls have to look like cute little generic shits or it won't sell, same thing that ruined Dumbpire adaptation.
It looks AWFUL, butchered designs, the character design is all over the fucking place, HORRIBLE highlights colors, lolsofannyxD "Kanada" animation that's really just shit, the action looks way too cartoony and lack any impact, and it's not even airing on TV.
Holy shit what a terrible disappointment. Fuck Amemiya, this fucking faggot. Sage.
Let\s wait when it finally airs. Then we'll bitch or not (mostly).
> Not forming your opinions without being influenced by anything. ESPECIALLY THE FANBASE.
Dude. If you do so your opinion will be affected. How many series there are around that are actually pretty good, yet have bad fanbases?
I don't say that Ninja Slayer may be good (though the TV series looks tempting), but simply basing your opinions on fanbases is unjust and arbitrary.
The 2016 version will actually be different instead of just an edit, this thing is some really nonsensical Endless Eight troll. Can't Kadokawa just do a normal anime instead of try to do this shit?
I'm confused, so this show isn't going to be on TV until 2016 but it will be on pay-per-view services this upcoming season? Will there be any subs?
Imaishi is the one doing a short series. Amemiya, who directed Inferno Cop, is directing Ninja Slayer.
How stupid are you? Trigger's logo is literally the first thing that shows up in SaVwM.
I want to see this semen demon
>I think this is first time I've really wanted a show to fail.
Congratulations on becoming true cancer of this board.
It obviously fails at disc sales which are barely relevant for LN and manga series.
