For example I remember her telling a story about when the war just started, and on the day my grandmother's family was supposed to take the vegetables to the market in town the road was blocked by the long column of soldiers marching to the front - so instead of letting the ripe tomatoes go to waste in the summer heat, they fed them to the tired and weary soldiers. If that's not a great scene for a slice of life anime I don't know what is.

As the two characters work together for certain requests, they begin to understand each other, eventually leading them to answer one another’s sky lantern request: helping the young man accept separation and finding a purpose in life for the young woman.

I actually had an idea like this but not with the same execution.

When characters learn of the nature of their existence as you said they pretty much start treating it religiously praising the author subtly to gain favoritism the way people pray or going through a very rigid routine of brainwashing themselves to act as by the book as expected so as not to displease an angry god. Except one guy realizing if they're all unreal anyway decides he's going to defy the author at every turn, if he gets erased then so be it at least he escapes a perpetual hell made for the amusement of invisible gods and if he manages to change things then at least his existence meant something.

The first arc is the writer trying to figure out how things in final print change up. They ask their translators and assistants and they say they haven't touched it yet it keeps happening until one page has an open rant against the author's treatment of the characters, who subsequently kills off all the character types mentioned to get rid of the problem.

The readers like the idea of this reoccurring unstoppable force of change since it brings something different and unpredictable to the stories they're usually familiar with that hold to prophecy.

So it turns into reverse Death Note at that point with the author writing up long plots to kill the character off as completely as possible and the Defiant in action or the void having to figure out how to get out of it and how to put a stop to it before the author decides to just put an end to the story.

It concludes with the defiant glitching the author's reality through billions of words on print read that create a mental ritual weakening the barrier between the real world and written due to the influence on each other.

I know there's a story called Unwritten similar to this, but the focus isn't so much on any particularly special character. The nameless defiant background character in fact is just trying to inspire people to write their own story in life instead of letting other people decide your significance for you.

And for the obvious twist The Defiant becomes God. The series was called God Is Read. The in story book was the original Bible and after freeing himself the Defiant decides he's done once he sees his fans become as brainwashed as the characters from his world.

MC is a normal college student who spends most of his free time on an anonymous image board.

Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well. He feels frustrated that many anonymous was praising this like it was one of the most greatest plot that an anonymous will be able to conceived while ignoring other plot that is much better.

His frustration was so great that he was somehow teleported to the story that he hated so much. He than made a decision to ruin the story while finding a way to get out from there.

A boy runs out late for class with toast in his mouth and is hit by a car. While it doesn't appear to have done any lasting damage, the crash caused him to lose the ability to use his voicebox. A second year high-school student visits haunted houses to exorcise restless ghosts. He is accompanied by his 15 and 12 year old sisters who go to different schools. A girl receives a mysterious letter from a man who claims to have died 100 years ago. He also claims to be able to see the future, and is thus "speaking directly to her" through the letter as she reads it. It tells her to go outside, and more text is written in the clouds. Then the ants on the ground arrange themselves into letters to continue the conversation. Then a bunch of nearby crows start randomly emitting sounds that together make up speech.

They go on wacky adventures together, a normal girl and a dead man who can see the future. A frozen sperm sample from him impregnates her, then the child grows up and gets struck by lightning, which perfectly transforms him into a copy of the man. Thus completing this convoluted resurrection method.

I came up with this the other day

>Gaijin no Monogatari

It's about several japanese people going to other countries for a longer period of time. Their stories aren't connected and every main character goes to a different country.
The first part focuses on them going abroad.
There they learn the differences between their culture and the culture of the respective country they are in, have good and bad experiences, make friends and generally have a lot of fun.
The second part is about them coming back to Japan after spending a lot of time abroad. At first they find themselves to be foreigners in their own home. They have to reapply themselves and reflect about what they have learned in their time abroad and how their experiences will influence their lives/ daily lives back home.

I didn't really come up with any real characters yet but I would want them to be really different from another. Like for example one character is a little girl on some kind of student exchange while the other one is a businessman that is forced to move to another country for the sake of his company.
