It was the best show in a pretty shit year. The runner up, Barakamon, was basically Pixar's Cars but with calligraphy. The third place (at least, by Futaba polls) was Nozaki-kun which while funny was still just a referential comedic slice of life with a rage inducing ending.

I liked Ping Pong a lot, especially for the characters, as I'm sure most people would agree.

However, I did feel like Tsukimoto's arc was the weakest out of all of them.
