The plot is shit generic as fuck, the mecha designs are bad, the characters range from robot cardboard MC to Slaine aka fail Suzaku whose actions don't make any sense. As far as we know there aren't any people living in that world besides the earth's army and the count retards. The motivation of the characters are completely non-sensical. Slaine is apparently fighting for the weak people, when the fuck did he meet any of them? As far as we know he only heard stories. Fuck we've never seen any of those famed poor martian faggots.

The show is literally Ei Aoki's vomit all over the script and the planning and then given life through CG. Fuck even the ost is one of Sawano's weakest works.
