Great b8 m8.
Then who the fuck is supposed to do mecha, genius? If you don't like mecha, don't fucking watch it, every season has 2,3 mecha shows usually, max 4 in rare cases.
>Mecha is fine and all, but besides a decent Gundam every now and then, it's something Sunrise just cannot do right.
This. The mecha sequences in shows like Code Geass are so fucking bad.
Oh please, point me to the studios that do consistent good mecha then. Bones? Xebec? Satelight? No one is consistent and no one will ever be consistent, you'll always get both good and bad series. Sunrise just does a lot more mecha than the others, the actual ratio of good to bad mecha anime is not that far apart in reality.
>but besides a decent Gundam every now and then, it's something Sunrise just cannot do right
How much of a fucking ignorant retard to spout such a fucking retarded opinion like this?
It's not about the quality of the movie. It's about Hollywood being lazy.
>lonely detective in city of Neo-Egypt
>cyber Majora Mask twins
>water is love, water is life theme
>hurr durr aliens control it all
We have solid 6/10
>A/Z wasn't too bad either
There's no hope for this world.
>Studio famously known for their mecha titles for their 40 year history
>can't do mecha right
Gundam AGE had at least awesome MC.
>Studio 8 is still pushing for a new HiME series this year of whenever.
>muh shitty dead franchise that nobody give a shit anymore aside 2-3 dumbass anons
Still beating the dead horse eh?
>Good Gundams I guess. A/Z wasn't too bad either
I'm only replying cause it's a meme
Welp looks like /m/ got here. Fun's over, this show won't air for a year and it's already confirmed to be a shitposting show just because of the studio.
>Blaming other people when you post retarded comments.
I've never been to /m/, Aldnoah is garbage
>By the way Mirai Arise is produced by Bandai Namco Pictures which is new Sunrise label for kids and family show productions.
>So yeah it's a Saturday/Sunday morning kids show.
That means it's going to replace one of the kids shows airing right now
Yeah only /m/ thinks A/Z is garbage. Are you legitimately retarded?
The plot is shit generic as fuck, the mecha designs are bad, the characters range from robot cardboard MC to Slaine aka fail Suzaku whose actions don't make any sense. As far as we know there aren't any people living in that world besides the earth's army and the count retards. The motivation of the characters are completely non-sensical. Slaine is apparently fighting for the weak people, when the fuck did he meet any of them? As far as we know he only heard stories. Fuck we've never seen any of those famed poor martian faggots.
The show is literally Ei Aoki's vomit all over the script and the planning and then given life through CG. Fuck even the ost is one of Sawano's weakest works.
Yes, the animators are.
Futoshi Nishiya, Chiyoko Ueno, Eisaku Kawanami, Kazumi Ikeda, Hiroshi Karata, all worked on FMP:TSR and are still at KyoAni.
And that's just to name a few.
Do your fucking research before spouting bullshit.
>Space Dandy meets Kill la Kill meets Star Driver
Holy fuck you named just a few of the animators that worked on the second season. Most of them have only worked on a single or two episodes. All the mecha designers weren't even KyoAni to begin with. The people that worked on the majority of the first season weren't KyoAni to begin with or aren't with them anymore.
And then look at what those people you've named have worked since then. I wouldn't trust a single one of them to work on a mecha anime without hesitation. You're really grasping for straws if you name these guys to animate a good mecha anime.
>Nope,it's from the makers who did Code Geass and Sacred Seven.Studio 8 is still pushing for a new HiME series this year of whenever.
How do you know which studio is working on it? So soon, I mean. Besides, staff is more important than that.
I only named a few because it would take too long to list them all and no, many of them worked on more than one or two episodes.
Chiyoko Ueno - 5 episodes, Eisaku Kawanami - 4 episodes, and so on.
Why are you even bringing up the first season? It was a different fucking studio. We've been talking about KyoAni's ability to animate mecha you retard, no one else's.
TSR looked great, the animators wouldn't randomly lose the ability to animate mecha.
You're clearly the one grasping at straws.
Yes. There has been a lot of other great original series made at Sunrise over the course of their very existence.
This looks pretty interesting. Hopefully there will be more information available in the coming months. Staff is far more important than studio name.
>TSR looked great, the animators wouldn't randomly lose the ability to animate mecha.
Not that guy, but I don't see why KyoAni wouldn't go for CG since it is after all more convenient, and they used it pretty well in the more recent Chuuni Depth of Field.
>Following basic rules of color coordination and visual placement is being lazy
