If these are the real brackets I think Uraraka might actually be gonna win this one. She'll get a bye on the steel guys since they're probably a bad matchup and go right to fighting Tokoyami.

Deku having to fight Uraraka would bring up a number of problems for him whereas against Bakugou all he has to do is try not to punch his head off.

Yeah but everyone guaranteeing him a win just feels too meta. If Deku saw a means for Uraraka to win then that means it's possible for her to win. She just has to find it. And she's pretty motivated. So I'm keeping an open mind.

Metapod vs Metapod confirmed for best side-panel fight in recent memory. Provided MHA ever gets an anime and it's not a complete pile of shit tourney filler is actually gonna own.

I can't imagine Uraraka winning this with anything but some complete bullshit like causing bakugou to ringout by a toe or something. I mean her power is cool and she could stand to be able to do something badass without it be flailing panic like the first battle test or the villain attack, but Bakugou hasn't been built up as "Cocky dude who writes checks his ass can't cash" so much as "Psychotically motivated natural". Even the primadonna heroes who've been groomed for it their whole lives admitted he's good.

G*d willing she gets to be pretty badass or show off how potentially OP as fuck her power is. Also this is shounen and Horikoshi doesn't seem the type to let girls get brutalized so I can't imagine he'd actually depict Bakugou fucking her up really bad.
