Recently watched Space Dandy at a friend's place. Dub wasn't bad, actually pretty good. Rival/War aliens had a swiss and low-german accent. Too bad it grew weaker fast.

The entire plot about Veronica giving Liz the crystal, when the crystal can only be activated by a phrase Veronica knew, was fucking retarded and nonsense, the anime having Veronica just keep the fucking thing, and using it when Mel was close, and then having Liz take it from her AFTER Mel was trapped, made far more sense.

I also liked Gowther hanging around Byzel, and I honestly think the anime version of Gowther's introduction was better then the manga. Those kids in the manga were worthless as fuck.

I'm just disappointed they cut all of the Threader stuff out. He gets shafted by losing two of his fights, which really serve to develop his character. I bet animeonlys who pick up the manga at 100 will be confused as to why he's so important in the current arc.

Beyond that, removing Griamor and the Spaghetti King's slip was totally unnecessary. I suppose the arc could have been far less faithful, looking at other recent adaptations, but these were easy things to keep that they just didn't include.

I don't know if you missed it, but chapter 98.1 all but confirmed Hawk as a being that is continually reincarnated and apparently acts as Meliodas' sidekick/partner.

It could be a mixture of Elizabeth's goddess ability and reincarnation that he was able to return as mini-Hawk. We know that his memories from before his 'death' were seemingly lost from him not knowing about the Forest of White Dreams that he had been to earlier in the story.

That's what I've been thinking.
The Ancient War was:
Goddesses,Fairies,Giants and Humans vs Demons.

The Sins:
Mel - Demon
Diane - Giant
King - Fairy
Ban or Esanor is the Human.

That's why I thought along the lines of Merlin perhaps being an excommunicated Goddess so that the Sins get the set complete.
And as Goddess, it would also further add onto this relationship between Mel and Merlin, which seems to be rather special.
