i like Die Sieben Todsünden
Maybe as bd, but not really in television. They are always spamming the same shit. I remember that the last new episode of One Piece cam out a year ago and covered only the Impel down arc. Also Naruto had no new episodes dubbed since forever and I never saw bleach dubbed. Not even on
Will this have to serve as our Taizai thread for today?
Oh on Television, ye okay. I don´t watch that anymore, but I think they are still showing some on some obscure station like 7max or so. I think Wednesday night is always anime night or so?
And Bleach did have a dub for the first 50 episodes or so, I think.
There are a lot of anime from 2012-14 coming out on DVD/Blue-Ray, yes.
They are showing Highschool of the Dead, Highschool DxD, Black Bullet, Guilty Crown and other stuff on Pro7 Maxx. The dub is so cringeworthy that I didn't even manage to watch more than a minute.
I still dont know why they fucked up the kingdom infiltration arc episodes by cutting so much shit, and then adding a bunch of new shit to take its place, when they could have just followed the manga.
At least the last episode, and this episode follow the manga far better.
The last one hopefully does also.
Anime Gray Demon
rip in pork
I guess I just assumed that because the red demon still looked so fresh after ten years.
The gray demon being a fossil irritatates me anyway.
Does it even make sense to call it the gray demon if it's just gray because it's a fossil?
Just consider this another matter of the anime making bad decisions.
Manga is the only truth
Recently watched Space Dandy at a friend's place. Dub wasn't bad, actually pretty good. Rival/War aliens had a swiss and low-german accent. Too bad it grew weaker fast.
These weird aliens in the boob monster episode also got a heavy dialect, which made it hilarious.
Not him, but I actually think the anime made some ok decisions, some even better then the manga.
The entire plot about Veronica giving Liz the crystal, when the crystal can only be activated by a phrase Veronica knew, was fucking retarded and nonsense, the anime having Veronica just keep the fucking thing, and using it when Mel was close, and then having Liz take it from her AFTER Mel was trapped, made far more sense.
I also liked Gowther hanging around Byzel, and I honestly think the anime version of Gowther's introduction was better then the manga. Those kids in the manga were worthless as fuck.
I'm just disappointed they cut all of the Threader stuff out. He gets shafted by losing two of his fights, which really serve to develop his character. I bet animeonlys who pick up the manga at 100 will be confused as to why he's so important in the current arc.
Beyond that, removing Griamor and the Spaghetti King's slip was totally unnecessary. I suppose the arc could have been far less faithful, looking at other recent adaptations, but these were easy things to keep that they just didn't include.
Exploding thunder tornado. Has science gone too far?
Also, I find it funny that only Threader and Simon are in the fight because the rest of Dawn Roar was dead in the manga. I guess that in the anime, the rest of Dawn Roar are in the coffee break.
>animefags don't even know that Howzer and most of Dawn Roar should be BTFO right now
Which side chapters? You mean the chapters about Ban and Elain? They have it. I haven't gotten to the point in the manga that features Diane and King, so I'm not sure about that part.
I don't know if you missed it, but chapter 98.1 all but confirmed Hawk as a being that is continually reincarnated and apparently acts as Meliodas' sidekick/partner.
It could be a mixture of Elizabeth's goddess ability and reincarnation that he was able to return as mini-Hawk. We know that his memories from before his 'death' were seemingly lost from him not knowing about the Forest of White Dreams that he had been to earlier in the story.
Now I remember. Animeonly probable won't get it. At least with that special chapter, it doesn't seem as big an asspull as before. Still needs to explain how Hawk just came back in a smaller size and not as a baby.
I doubt it's Elizabeth's doing considering it's implied she too got reincarnated.
I mean, Liz died 16 years ago.Elizabeth was born 16 years ago.
It's probably got to do with Mel considering his Tattoo is a freaking Ouroboros for a reason.
Especially when Merlin made it.
I never thought of that. Is it possible Mel has the power of forcing specific people to reincarnate? Or maybe it's a curse that was put on specific people/animals around him at a particular time that forces them to keep coming back until they finally end or do something. Actually sounds like something the Goddess Clan would do.
I'm saying that it might have been the mixture of Reincarnation + Goddess Healing that allowed Hawk to come back right away, in the same form. He went from Parrot -> Pig before, so the question was: Why is he still a pig this time?
I thought he went from Dragon->Parrot->Pig or I'm mis-remembering.
And maybe Elizabeth's interferance changed the reincarnation circle in some way. Like he was originally supposed to be re-born as something else but her power accelerated things and just caused him to come back in his previous form? I don't know. I'm confusing myself here.
the long panel is the one i am basing this off of.
It serves you right for using shit-tier sites, anon. Have some standards.
It could be that Merlin knows.
Though, it depends on what Ban is.
Immortal, yes but does he count as Human?
If he does, then the answer might be actually rather obvious when looking at the Sins.
>as long i can read it anon
But anon, you never truly read it all. That is why you've asked /a/ to spoonfeed you a site where you can attempt to fix your fuckup.
>paying for animu and mango
>Immortal, yes but does he count as Human?
the official fanbook lists Ban's race as originally human.
So he isn't a human per say, hes something else.
Escanor is the only one thats a "real" human.
Wonder if some names will be changed now that the manga will get a german translation.
Slader to Zlatan and King to König wouldn't surprise me along with the ironic official "Howzer" becoming Hauser.
That's what I've been thinking.
The Ancient War was:
Goddesses,Fairies,Giants and Humans vs Demons.
Mel - Demon
Diane - Giant
King - Fairy
Ban or Esanor is the Human.
That's why I thought along the lines of Merlin perhaps being an excommunicated Goddess so that the Sins get the set complete.
And as Goddess, it would also further add onto this relationship between Mel and Merlin, which seems to be rather special.
There's a timeline already. It's not translated, though.
There's no real evidence that Merlin is related to the Goddesses. We already have Elizabeth. I mean, she's definitely not currently human, but she's also old as fuck, at least old enough where she would have ascended from her humanity if she ever was human.
A. Isn't a sin
B. is human, she is a druid, a group of humans who commune with nature and get powers FROM the goddess clan, but Liz is not a goddess herself.
-Gowther said no sin has another like themselves in the group.
-The official fanbook lists Escanor's race as human, but Merlin's as a ?.
Merlin is not human, if she was, the official fanbook would have listed her as such.
Fair enough, there's a distinction between druid and Goddess. Gowther was more specifically talking about the currently group at the time though. I know Merlin is listed as ?, so obviously she isn't human, as I said, but Ban also isn't considered human, even though he was. I'm not saying Merlin can't be involved with the Goddesses, but there's no evidence right now for that theory, other than Mel and her having their strange relationship.
Nah, Merlin. She's really old, or at least old enough that she's made magical artifacts for "an ancient royal family."
>Gowther said no sin has another like themselves in the group.
Not the anon you are talking too, but no he did not. When he rejoined the group he said that there is no one from the same kind (Human, Doll, Fairy, Giant, Immortal Human (Ban who started as human), Pig) is here. He meant the group back then and not the Seven Deadly Sins as a whole.
Did you read this extra? >>122896078
>Did you read this extra? >>122896078
Yes, but nothing places that flashback to Danafor.
>chapter 39 cover art
fuck man, time machine right there. that was what? over a year ago?
It keeps happening
Almost, anon. Almost.
Damn, I meant artbook. I need to sleep.
Man, Jericho's a cutie. I didn't like her much in the Liones saga, but she's really grown on me since. I hope she gets some development and a happier ending, since she's always getting shit on.
>Dreyfus' armor was supposed to be green
Hmm, I'm not sure if I like it more red or green. At least they made his hair darker, he looks really silly when it's light brown.
I hope they put this out in English.
These are manga colors as of chapter 66, at least. Nakaba might've changed his mind by now, though.
One of my favorite villain designs. Not sure why exactly, but the simplicity of the design combined with the satyr-like features makes him stand out for me. I feel like he felt more intimidating in the manga though.
>everything is black and white
i'll call this amazing shading guys.
I know it was coming, I know he's fine, but still this moment hit me really hard.
>the face when butthurt mangafags are still not over the fact that Elizabeth's powers aren't bullshit and that Hawk came back and are masquerading as butthurt animefags whining about "convenient asspulls"
I'd think that they'd at least have to show some of the Mel/Hawk flashback side-chapter as a scene before the opening in next week's episode for everyone not to get mad about it.
Not quite true. He said none that were present at the time didn't share a race.
Merlin and Escanor weren't present, but Hawk and Elizabeth were.
Its still likely they're all a different race, but Gowther's statement does not confirm that.
I guess Hawk won't try to be hogging the spotlight now
>we not going to see her teling elizabeth that she got her memory back in this season
is not even over yet and i already want another season man
Yup, he is Rising Impact's Tristan in Nakaba's current artstyle.
But that's wrong, you retard. Threader will still see Merlin teleport in with the king, The rest of Dawn Roar can still job off screen since they're not present in the anime's final battle, etc.
Based on my experience, ranked in order of general 'goodness': Chyuu > Fedsubs > ISS.
Although, if you're completely new to the series, consider reading the manga instead. It's better.
