Yamada-kun to 7-nin no Majo (Yamada and the Seven Witches)

Ryuu Yamada is known as a delinquent in his high school; he has been bored of classes after one year of attending school. One day, he accidentally falls from a flight of stairs onto Urara Shiraishi, the ace student of the school. Yamada wakes up to find that he has swapped bodies with her! The two try to reverse the change and discover that kissing triggers the body swap. On the suggestion of student council vice-president Toranosuke Miyamura, they revive the Supernatural Studies Club. In 2115, the country known formerly as Japan has been split into two parallel worlds: the Frontier S (Stratos) and the 17th Far East Imperial City Management District. Frontier S is an outlaw universe in which freedom runs rampant, while the 17th Far East Imperial City Management District is a totalitarian universe completely bereft of freedom and is under constant surveillance. When the two universes is starting to fuse into one, the government of each worlds initiates the Operation Stratos, a world-scale protocol wherein a handpicked group of gunslingers, mercenaries, and special individuals, each from the two universes, will be sent in the year 2015 to alter the past by eliminating the other side until only one group survives, erasing a parallel universe in the process.

The story revolves on a group of gunslingers, each from the two universes who participate in Operation Stratos, particularly on a group of four childhood friends: Tohru Kazasumi, Kyōka Katagiri, Kyōma Katagiri, and Shizune Rindo, who all must confront their own flaws and differences when they battle their alternate selves in order to survive.

As far as I know that's it for the game scenario that Urobuchi came up with, everything else is team arcade gameplay in a Gundam Extreme Vs. clone albeit with Square Enix level graphics and a gun controller for the game ala Time Crisis. The anime seems to be bringing in a Nitroplus writer to handle the scripts and give it more otaku cred though. Had they been able to land Urobuchi himself it would have instantly made this the smash hit of the season before the first episode even aired but no they just have to settle for one of his wing men. Still you can be sure this won't stop the anime from plugging Urobuchi's name every possible chance they can get.
