went 9 episodes without even knowing the main girl's name. little forced-heavy at times but the lighter episodes made up for it. if you had a 2 episode rule, you'd have dropped it hard, 3rd episode made me like it a lot more.

Too much focus on the arbiters; not enough human drama.
Also, horribly inconsistent arbitration. People get fucked over constantly by a supposedly impartial and perfect system.

you're accurate in that it's fuckin manufactured emotions, but that's not what edgy means. edgy is trying to look cool by acting like a badass, usually for no reason (if using it in a derogatory way)

I don't know what it is, but these last few episodes made me think that this show is trying too hard to be deep. I liked it at first, really interesting concept, but then with the Murderers I think the show decided it needed to be 2DEEP4U, but it didn't actually want to try.

That's still dumb though. I'm not sure if it was the pacing, or just the execution, but it just felt forced. Like they wanted it to be fun with a hint of deep, but then they said fuck it and dumped in the DEEP with that episode.

It's like the show is a metaphor for itself.

We are the arbiters, watching people play games and showing off how scummy they are, and we look at the fragments of their memories and try to decide who is good and who is bad and then they leave the stage and it's like it never happened.

It just seems hollow and pointless, the emotions are forced out and there's no lasting point to it, which is why Chiyo was saying and what Decim is starting to realize.

Basically Decim and Chiyo represent the audience because they're noticing how stupid and pointless the judgement scenes are.

The first two episodes focused on some soap opera-tier adultery plotline that kept going back and forth between whom you were supposed to blame, and for some reason this show had a large crossboarder base that got triggered by sluts. KLK-tier shitposting ensued.
