My immediate family was perfectly fine with it, and incredibly accepting. When I came out I hadn't graduated yet, so my folks offered to pay for my laser sessions. Best parents ever. The list might seem small, but that's because the number of series with full-time transformations is very small to begin with. And almost all manga where the MC can switch forms have the MC only be attracted to women. E.g. Adolescence Avatar, Futaba-kun Change, Gacha Gacha Secret, Kampfer, Okitsune-sama de Chu, Ore Twintail, Ranma, Sai Taker, Saikyou Mahou Shoujo Akira. The sole exceptions I'm aware of where a character who can switch forms shows interest in men are Fukigen Cinderella and Nyotai-Ka.

The typical resolution is for the genderswapped person to accept their current identity and move on (after passing through the previous stages of grief), which makes sense from their perspective. I just feel sad for the former person who no longer exists.

I ran a few chapters through ATLAS to see what happens in the LN and it's rather similar to Log Horizon, in that the MC ends up in a fantasy world but there are still some game mechanics in place. I would have much preferred it if the story took place in an actual fantasy world instead of retaining all of the gamey elements.

It seemed to me like the story would mainly focus on MMO politics, though I can't be sure about that.

What is my favorite? There are so many. Kanojo ni naru hi + Another, Megu Miruku, Sekainohate de Amashou, Balance Policy, Nozomu Nozomi, Remix Heart, and Ame Nochi Hare are probably my favorite non-h manga.

As for h-manga, there are too many to list.
