ITT: OP loses his mind over cartoons
>>
>>122368557
I wouldn't say it's a 'wound that won't heal'. It seems to be very well healed, they both seem to be pretty over it and accepted it. Sure he didn't find a new girlfriend or anything but then again he's a lolicon Otaku so it's kind of unlikely. I mean he doesn't spend his time mourning her so he seems pretty fine.
>>
OP, I was just about to go to bed. Fuck you.

Has anime/manga made anyone else a lot more emotional? I cried more at this scene than I did about family members dying. I'm convinced this medium has made me a pussy bitch, because I get really emotional even over things that aren't that sad.

I meant to us, the viewers.

>>122368630
Damned emotional scenes in comedies.
>>
>>122368642
That reminds me, why do comedies often have tearjerking stuff in it?
We have a contrasting mellow song as an ED in Seto no Hanayome.
Then, Ika Musume episode 6.
K-ON has several moments too.
Is it on purpose?
>>
>>122368642
I don't know man. Unless you're talking about some Meta /a/-board culture stuff I don't realy know why this should be a 'wound that'll never heal'.
Konata and her Dad seem pretty over it, even making jokes and the mom's ghost seems to be OK with the whole situation as well. Sure it was a bit feelsy but noone was really mourning or grieving so I, as the viewer didn't do that either.
>>
>>122368738
contrast, bro. icecream is nice; icecream on a hot day is amazing. you get the sad stuff beside the comedy, both get stronger.
>>
>>122368765
You truly are strong, anon.
I can't be like you.
>>
>>122368738
Pretty much every comedy, even outside of anime has that.I'd guess it's so you get more attached to the characters and as a contrast to the usual lighthearted tone.
>>
>>122368784
Probably true, seeing that a lot of other mediums use contrasting for extra flavour, like solace moments in horror games, or bad puns in space opera novels.
>>
>>122368797
Nah you're just a fag
>>
>>122368797
If the family wasn't mourning then everything should be happy

K-On makes me cry like a little girl. Literally no other piece of media in my life made me cry before.
>>
How does this show have so much best girls?
Even the moms are best girls.

Yeah.
This.
I get the sads from stuff thats just a tiny bit emotional.
I used to no care in the slightest.
Maybe anime has made me less autistic?
>>
>>122368797
It's just that the three parties involved seem happy already.
I guess losing your mom when you're young, losing lover when she's young or losing your family and never get to watch your daughter grow up with you are all wounds that might heal but will always hurt, but all of them seem to be dealing well with it.
>>
>>122368630
>emotional when watching anime
>acting like prick IRL
I hate myself for going this way.
