Selling well doesn't guarantee s2 anyway, and there are series that sold around 5k that got one.

Numbers aren't particularly great, if they are good or not we will know based on the following volumes but it's certainly above flop line at this point.

The points estimated for their release date is about 3K, which is about the same for Volume 1. Volume 2 has an event ticket but full price, and Volume 3 has no event ticket and is full price.

Shigatsu ends one week earlier than it does freeing up a time slot for them to cram an extra episode into it. After that noitaminA goes down to being a half hour block with some other otaku bait looking show called Punchline that looks really fucking bad because even with shit like half priced discs, tons of extras and switching the block up to be the exact opposite of what it started off to achieve it's still barely profitable enough to justify to the TV station.
